"Well, I'm Lex. This is Hollin, and while I know a Cottonee is not big bad and imposing, I have the map," Lex replied and lifted the thick paper marked with ink and conte. "And Hollin will be working on crowd control, so... I guess we should get going." He waved and did a snappy about turn.
"Do try to keep up."

Interacting with: Gathering group
When it looked like everyone has split into groups, Anise looked around at everyone who'd elected to gather edible plants. It sounded like at least a few others knew which plants to look for, which was good. "I guess we better get going, huh?" she said. "Let's go see what kind of plants are here. Like the captain said, around the water is probably a good place to start." So saying, she hefted her bag, made sure she had her map, then she and Oki headed for the waterside to look for food.

Vana wandered along with the group that was getting water hearing someone introduced them selves she decided she should do the same. "I'm Vana and this is Keahi" She said pointing to the torchic that was perched on her shoulder.

When Valarie finally rid her bag of squashed berries, she wiped the juice off with her vest and turned around. "Alright lets go! Ya ready Fois?"
The Hoothoot quickly finished preening his feathers before chirping in reply. With that, the two left.

Cara sighed softly as Remmy came over and they all started walking over to where they were to build the shelter after grabbing the twine from the Captain. Oh well, so long as he doesn't have any hissy fits, I'll survive. She smiled at Remmy. "Hey Remmy, you might be able to help. We're going to build the shelter for everyone to stay in for the night. Remmy look at Cara and smile. "Yay i can be helpful" He yell out. He open his bag and look in inside then look up at Cara "I have this hm call cut...will this work. I got it from this old guy that wanted some of me moomoo milk. Noe sow show me the way! Yaaay!!!" He said as he walk behinf Cara

"How cute!" Genesis replied, silently wondering how the Torchic tasted all cooked up. "I'm Eliza, and this is little A!"
She lifted the Riolu at her side and, with him in tow, walked with Corbin, Vana, and the rest of the group towards the oasis.

Cai nodded to Anise, casting a glance at the others in their party. He had nothing he felt like leaving among strangers and as such, just walked along towards the oasis. His long legs carrying him quickly across the sandy earth.

Sienna and Skylar followed the rest of the group, Skylar worried about what besides plants could be near the water. Sienna was just glad her bag was mostly empty and she could carry plenty of food.

"I'm Zak and this is Phrixus, we do make a pretty good hunting team if I do say so myself." Zak replied. They had experience and hopefully it would help them with their goal. He followed Lex, as they were the one with the map.

 "Eros Leoni." The boy introduced himself with forced politeness and a brittle smile, nodding to the group in general. "My Skitty seems to be taking the more sensible course of action with a nap in my satchel. I'd do the same, but, alas, we're all relegated to fetching and carrying." Eros wasn't pleased that the scruffy man -- had he just referred to his Pokémon as a child? -- seemed to be leading them. At least he'd be with Vana, the closest thing he had to an acquaintance on this ridiculous voyage. [Exit to the Water thread]

Luckily, Laurence had a small knife that he could use to cut down branches, because Kili was not cut out for the task-- no pun intended. He went with the others to the site where they would be gathering their supplies. Hopefully things would go well and they'd have the shelter built by the time the rest of the groups returned.

Erika pulled her hood up over her eyes. It wasn't the most comfortable weather to be wearing a jacket in, but it served to keep the sun off of her. She joined the others in walking.

George handed off a knife to Koorie and was thankful for his hat on keeping the sun off his eyes. He knew he was going to start sweating a lot soon but he didn't want the sun beating down on him either. He followed the group and starting sifting through his bag. He had known this trip was going to go sideways, so he came prepared.
