Lectoa hummed happily as she spun and struck once more. "Is that all you have?" she wondered, disappointed.

She was left disappointed as the figure disappeared into a flurry of mist. Leaving her alone. "Aaaaw!"

Was someone watching her? Suspicious, she looked around but saw no one. But shortly after she decided to look again. Again. Again.
"HEY STOP IT!" she screamed.

Lectoa wouldn't have been surprised if she had tripped on her air. But regardless, she had tripped. She rolled a bit,but managed to remain on the platform.

Insert more close-call tripping her. Lectoa might've been just a smidge annoyed.

Then she fell for real. At first she yelled, then she howled, but her voice died away as she realized that her fall was slowing down. Confused and bewildered, Lectoa safely landed to the ground. She even landed on her two feet. "What...?" She spun around a few times, trying to find a way out. But instead she found only glowing orbs. Glowing things? She was down with that. Happily, she picked one up with a clawed hand.

This fog was making him sick. He was seeing things. Limbs, everywhere. All trying to stop him from reaching his goal. He held his stomach and descended downward, his breaths quick and panicked.
The world went grey, without distinction as he went further in. He couldn't see his own feet, but he pressed on all the same.
Suddenly, a hand reached out from the fog. It covered his mouth as it reached from behind.
He couldn't breathe!
Panic welled up even more than before. Itoto's muffled shrieks were heard by himself alone, his body revolting as he tried desperately to pry the hands off his face. He didn't want to die. He struggled and fought for his life, fear ripping through his core.
Finally, his strength prevailed. He freed himself from the attacks, staggering a few steps as he hacked and coughed life back into his lungs.
Someone.. or something, was out there. It watched him and judged him. Every step. Every breath and movement were firecly and ruthlessly watched. What did they want? He knew they were there, all he had to do was get them to show themselves, and the fear would be gone.
So he called out. But his words were spirited away into the fog. So he screamed. Nothing.
His heart beat so hard it hurt, his mind raced so fast it burned. He screamed in agony. He just wanted to be left alone. Please... please leave him be. Stop torturing me..
Watching. All eyes.. on him.
GO AWAY! He tried to shout, but alas it never left his throat. He was suffocating...

Some of the other tasks had been easier, but this one didn't look quite like it would be that way. Still, the girl was quite certain in her own abilities and thus walked happily through toward the path. But once she actually reached it, the happy walk slowed immensely. And before she could really get going on the path, her body gave out and her mind carried on.
The memory she saw was joy, but not the good kind. It was malicious joy, nastily happy. It left her fingertips shaking as she came back to her senses, confused over who was coming for her and how she could defeat them with ease.

It was straight out of a horror movie. Just as his paranoia nearly ebbed, he felt a sudden grip on both his slender ankles. A short gasp from him barely escaped his throat before he was ripped from his balance and dragged down. Left, right, around. His nails clawed at the floor, his screams nullified in the dense fog.
As quickly as it had begun, he was let go. The boy curled into himself, barely able to revive his courage to move on. He was scared. Terrified.
His vulnerable state on the floor was the perfect opportunity for whatever haunted him. He lifted his head as he gasped for a breath after a short reprieve of crying, when another hand clamped over his mouth.
Not again! It was back. back to finish the job. His feet skidded and kicked at the ground, his nails digging into the hand that was smothering his life away. Help, He pleaded in his mind. Someone, please!
After a long struggle, Itoto once again pried the hand away, his body scrambling clumsily to get away.
He'd only crawled a few feet, and it was back. The ravenous hand once again clamped over Itoto's mouth, gripping his face tightly as it tried to keep him from breathing.
The boy's muffled cries became desperate, tears began falling from his greyed out eyes. Both his hands gripped the strange hand, his now weak arms struggling almost in vain to break free. He was all alone. He would die here, all alone. No one would come save him. No one...
His despair nearly crippled him, made him wish he could give up. But his body acted on reflex as it sensed the deprivation of oxygen. His fight or flight reflex kicked into overdrive, once again ripping the hand off of his mouth. He gasped desperately for air, struggling to get away for good.
He was running for his life. Quick and shallow gasps rung in and out as his weak breathing struggled to keep his body moving fast. His eyes still spilled with tears, his tiny voice horse from his attempts to scream.
He needed to get out of here. Run from that which sought to end his life.
Something grabbed him, his senses panicking once again. Everything crumbled beneath him, and his stomach turned itself inside out.
He was falling.
Screaming.

Falling. Falling forever. That horrible gut wrenching feeling as he fell too far and too fast looped into eternity. Or so it had seemed. At some point, things seemed to slow down. The fog that he had feared became thicker. Slowly, gradually, he felt as if it carried him, softly embracing him and easing his tired, frightened core. His panicked heart began to soften, his gasps becoming steady breaths. Everything would be okay...
Softly, he turned to look down at the slowly approaching ground, his hair lightly sticking against his tear stained cheeks. His feet gently landed on the floor, his knees a little bit weak. Warily he took steps toward the centre, the bright and warm glow of powerful orbs drawing him in. Slowly, he knelt down, his hands coming to curl and cup around one of them.
Aah.. it felt so warm. He held it close to his chest, his eyes shutting softly. It was like he was being lifted. Back up. Back to the surface. To safety...
