D.L was knocked back quiet a bit but soon stood up and saw Sally charge for Iblis. He was so glad Kiro stop it though, He would of blamed himself if Iblis was killed. He shook his head though and refocused on the task at hand, it wasn't over yet until the robot was destroyed no matter who it was. He couldn't let it live for trying to kill Iblis. He growled silently as he heard Kiro speak to the thing, it wouldn't understand because it's not the same Sally anymore. He thought he told Kiro that already but he still tried it anyway. Trying to get through that metal like head of hers. Although it seemed now Kiro was starting to understand as he saw him knock the robot off him. D.L took no time to let it attack Kiro again and forcefully knocked it with a spin attack but pushed off the robot to land a few distance from it. He was prepared to keep this robot busy as long as Kiro needed to recover.

METAL SALLY

Kiro sits on his knees looking down at his smoking palms with the smell of burning flesh hitting his nose. A smell he thought he'd never whiff again. The tormenting scent of defeat and death of an innocent. He understood that talking to Sally was a waste of time, but he never gives up on a friend, even if they are not real. "Why do I even bother...", he asked himself knowing he had no reason to associate with anyone in this alternate world. Yet he still tries to save them. And like always, he still cant even shed any tears. For a long time, his emotions were till there. Yet they seemed petrified and cold as stone. He couldn't bear to look for a moment, but then shakes it all off with the thoughts of knowing that this Sally before him isnt his Sally. In fact, knowing that this cheap imitation made from her remains only mocked him like an itch he cant seem to scratch.
Metal Sally regains her position using her jet boosters after taking a hot from D.L. and skidding across the concrete. Suddenly, he stands there silently as her eyes flashed brightly like something just switched on. His lanches herself at D.L. at high speed leaving an afterburn behind. Both her hand light up and fires her laser cannon simultaneously at him.
In that moment when Sally's eyes flash, something about her seemed to have caught his attention.

D.L quickly moved out of the way, using his jet like shoes to speed up. He wasn't planning to attack just yet but to study her movements and possible weak points. He learned last time close range wasn't such a good idea, so he'll try long range attacks. Charging up electricity in his palms, he unleashes a lightning bolt of blue energy at Sally.

After getting no response tot he last message, she uses the images from other units to find the unit in question, and its official designation, and directs the next message directly to "Metal Sally".





Unless Metal Sally's digital radio receiver is damaged, it will definitely get that message, and know just who sent it.

Meanwhile, the transport approaches the urban ruins that the rebels are currently fighting in, and Megan calls in reinforcements, and places bulk lifters with the iridium pillars on standby, ready to deploy them upon confirmation that the rebel Kiro, the captured asset Nova, the MIA asset Eragon and/or the lost asset Dark Light are indeed in the area.

"D!!!!", Kiro shouted as he attempts to get up.
The dust from the hole in the building slowly unveils Metal Sally's silhouette as she lifts her glowing palm ready to fire again at D.L.

Upon receiving the status message from Metal Sally, Megan immediately starts uploading the newest topographical map, the newest working navigational software suite, information about Kiro that she dug up from various sources, and an update to its self-diagnostic program. Megan then dispatches four bulk lifters with an irridium pillar to four key locations in the ruins. Megan also sends a message back to metal Sally.

D.L flew back and crashed into a building's concrete wall, the force of that attack was strong enough to make him crash through it and landing on the other side of the building. His head felt really fuzzy and the pain was really unbearable but he tried to ignore it. Trying to get back up on his feet, although it was difficult. He had cuts and bruises all on his body. D.L knew that was a bad move on his part, although he felt like he couldn't focus right. Something was causing pain in his head a bit, although this was different and familiar. It only happened when his other self was waking up or trying to take over. "not now..." he pants and tries to ignore it, pushing back the dizzy spell and trying to struggle with his focus slightly. 'this isn't a good time.. Light..' He thought and growled silently.

"D!!!!", Kiro shouted as he attempts to get up.

D.L ignored the pain as best as he could, noticing Metal Sally was preparing to fire. He summoned what strength he had and moved out of the way quickly, rolling then sprints using his jet shoes to pick up speed. He would make it hard for the robot to catch him while Kiro prepares for a plan. Although his head was starting to hurt more, he still did his best to ignore it while he moved around but the world around him was slightly spinning. 'I don't have time for this...' he thought and growls silently.

In the dark void of D.L's soul, Light rest peacefully but after awhile. He starts to wake up and sits up straight, looking around confused. The place was dark around him and sorta looked like there was nothing here, although there was a light sphere near by casting some bright light in this dark place. "How long was I asleep...?" he said silently to himself and rubbed his head with one hand, using the other hand to push him back onto his feet. Light had no clue what was going on but he wanted out of here as soon as possible.

Just as Metal Sally came close to firing on Light when he was defenseless in his transition, Kiro suddenly surprises from the side as he fires his sawed off shotgun at her arm. The nerves in his hands were still rw from getting burnt so he had to resort to an up close impact from a mid-range firearm to deflect Metal Sally's aim.
Metal Sally's laser cannon fire into a supporting beam of the build as the portion of the build quickly began to rumble and crack up through the ceiling. Before he even processed what just happened, the metallic mobian woman suddenly gets a powerful swat from Kiro's steeltoe boot into her gut and caused her to tumble deeper into the building right where the supported portion began to collapse
The young hedgehog bouced his weight off Metal Sally with his kick and bursts running to Light. He quickly wraps his arm around him and swipes Light off his feet, pulling him away from the crashing rubble. He curves and slides through the concrete with his boots kicking up dust to maneuver himself into an old auto shop. Kiro braced himself and Light from the loud crash behind the wall until he could see the dust from the debris carried in the wind passing by from inside the garage. Kiro quickly sighes in relief and lets go of the newly changed hedgehog,"ugh.....that should slow her down. But I dont think she's through yet.". He tries to keep his voice down right went he's caught by surprise about D.L.'s new appearance. "What the hell...D? Is that you?", he whispered.

Light stood up and smiled a bit at Kiro. "Yes and no actually... I'm Light.. uhh... it's kinda hard to explain." he said quietly as he dusted himself off a bit. Light had a pretty good idea that hes been sleeping for too long, and that somethings had happened while he was inactive. He could remember a bit of what went on but most things were a bit blurry. It was like a fast forward movie playing through his head. He kinda had to wonder if D.L had those kinds of things happen to him too. "I hope D mentioned me... or I got a lot to explain..." he said and gazed at where the robot was crushed, ignoring the pain he feels from his injuries. Damn D.L had to fire that charge and pretty much beat himself up. Although Light knew that D.L wasn't really sure if the old robot could do that, he wouldn't know that either at the time.

Kiro wasnt sure at first what to think, but the new look and his seemingly brighter personality does explain things. "So youre Light, huh? Don't worry there's no need to explain. I heard everything from D. and Iblis", he waved his hand slightly in ease to assure he knows the situation. Suddenly, the young hedgehog picks up sounds of movement coming from the rubble. He quickly peeks his eye through a hole as he watches the rubble starting to move violently. "I'd give you a more proper introduction, but we've got a bit of a problem right now. Can you fight?", he whispered and asked Light turning his head back to him. He doesnt like the idea of tag teaming since he usually prefers to fight solo, but Metal practically has eyes in the back of her head.
Metal Sally rises out of the debris from the fallen rubble of the building, which is now partially standing. Her scanner immediately try to pick up any sound or movement. Unfortunately due to her long years of inactivity has caused her other sensors such as heat vision and X-ray to crash. Even without them, her primary sensors were efficient enough for combat. She hovers herself over the garage where Kiro and Light were hiding. She cant get a good reading on where they might be hiding, so she uses elevated heights to get a good view of the roads and blocks.
The young hedgehog puts his finger to his lips the moment he hears a heavy thump from the hollow roof. "Listen, she doesnt seem to have a good lock on us and she might leave to look elsewhere. If you need to, you can sneak away, grab Iblis and get back to Knothole", he whispers to Light as his young eyes kept his gaze up toward the roof. Apparantly Kiro doesnt seem like he plans on going anywhere. He must be planning on fighting Metal Sally all by himself. Mainly, Kiro doesnt plan on going anywhere knowing that even a shadow of a long lost friend since childhood is running amok. He cant leave until he can finally put Sally back in her grave where she belongs. But can he really fight her alone? Even with his injuries?

Light could tell Kiro was sticking to this fight, probably wanting to do this alone but Light didn't think it'd be a good idea. So he shook his head to that slightly. "No... I think it'd be best if you had some back up. Besides... D seems to want payback as much as me." he whispers back and smirks a bit. "If anything gets too serious... I'll be sure to get Iblis out of here safely but for now. We need to stop this robot or it'll get more backup the longer it's here." he whispered quietly, even if he ran off with Iblis. He was afraid that backup would come if Kiro couldn't destroy Metal Sally in time. So he was willing to fight until this fake Sally was gone and everyone around here was safe. "So... any plans...?" he whispered to Kiro, hoping he had some kind of plan in motion. He knew his electric ability didn't work.

Kiro looks at Light and makes a slight smirk while nodding his head. The youth stares back up at the cieling as he kept his ears open and his position ready. "A stupid one possibly, but I dont think we need much brain power at this point", he cracked a light as he cracks his knuckles. Kiro was planning to go for a full front assault. "On my signal, follow my lead", he sets himself across from Light looking at a particular spot on the ceiling. He didnt have much to explain but it should be obvious that Kiro is planning to attack on both side and strike in perfect sync with Light. "Get ready......Spin.....", he couches down as his hears Metal Sally's metallic footsteps closing in. "STRIKE!!!!", Kiro bounces and plows through the ceiling with the force of his highspeed spin.
Metal Sally's data storage was having difficultly with the update Megan sent as she studdenly studders to see Kiro crashing from under the roof along with Light coming from behind possibly
"HAA!!!", Kiro pulls the force of his spin at a vertical angle and through all the momentum into his foot, landing a powerful spin charged kick towards her torso with an explosive impact to disburse the wind and kick dust away from the crash.

The transporter Megan is on finally reaches a suitable rooftop, picked for its proximity to the current location of Metal Sally, right as the transmission error message gets sent. Megan hopps off, orders TD-51 and one MR-01 unit to do the same, and the transport brings the other two to street level to engage Kiro and Light.

Megan quickly gets the Lahti L-39 to the edge of the roof, locks the bolt open with the crank, slides the ten-round magazine of 20 millimeter rounds in and pushes it down until it clicks, then puts her shoulder against the stock, takes a look through the scope, and as soon as she's looking in the general vicinity of the fight, releases the bolt, then starts to take more careful aim.

If frontal poweful attacks don't faze Light or Kiro, perhaps a 20 millimeter anti-tank round fired at range will make an impact.
