However, he hadn't heard about the horsemen killing thousands of humans. The vision he saw in the trance of that dead world came back. This didn't seem right. The horsemen were rescuing them, but also seemed to be hiding a lot from them.
With that, Calder leaned into her front hooves and kicked with her back legs, and then decided to start bucking. This was a real workout. Stomp the foxfire. Almost like a game.

Sammy turned back to Jerry crouching down beside the crumbling orc golem the cloak rolling out around her like a black pool. "Speaking of which, what is the mission? We haven't done anything to invoke you all being here and that Ace Harry whoever Flower Boy is obsessing over didn't seem to know anything so what about you?" The whistling sound that a net made as it came precariously close to where Alex was standing next to his zombro had the boil's attention turning from the hunter he was currently attacking and towards whoever had just taken his buddy down. Oh, hello other hunter! With his grin fading, and a grim look taking over instead, Alex shambled on over and delivered another powerful punch towards this one as well. hp 40 tile 16 target Opheliaaa Damage: 5 Attack: 2/2 Appearance: Here with no skateboard.

Miss Danny senses were tingling, the ghoul was possibly in danger! Or maybe he just turned to see that she was in a net, and there was someone with a gun trapping another student nearby...target acquired. He rushed at the auburn boil, overly-large hands curling into fists as his Fear build up and he lashed out repeatedly. Some of his hits did not quite connect, but it still felt good to hit the golem under his fists. Avenging. HP: 40/40 Target: Gale (For attacking Miss Danny QQ) Damage: 10.5 = 11? Danny wiggled under the pain of the net to stick her tiny hand out and touch Mei's from across the way. "MEI. IT'S OKAY. YOU TRIED AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS."
Cue a really cheesy romantic song and stuff yeah.
Then Yin came over and kicked the hunter-golem's butt. She gave a weak little cheer and said, "Thanks Yin! I don't think you can get the nets off though ... " She'd tried earlier with Amphi's to no avail. They were stuck as stuck could be.

Ofelia turned in time to see a fist coming, another zombie on the end of it. She wasn't going to run, that was just stupid, and the Lamia golem's face split into a wicked smile as her body was impacted by an attack. She looked to the others before letting out a loud and piecing cackle, the golem then crumbling to mud as it destroyed itself.
Meanwhile back at Deus Ofelia woke screaming and cackling inside her pod, her eyes wet with tears and her mouth choking on spit from the sudden awakening. She looked around and sighed, the whole left side of her vision gone once more.

He swung around to snap at her tail, but missed by a few inches, it didn't matter, he was fighting, he felt useful - he was in his element. "You bastards do it too though, stepping out of line, killing, murdering. And your people don't keep them in line. That's our ******** job."
He wasn't expecting the bucking, and was caught by surprise by a hoof to the side, yelping as he was knocked right up into the air, flailing wildly as he determinedly lashed out to get traction and cling to the kelpie's back.
This was just as bad as being on the ground under her hooves, he ******** it. No regrets.
He held on as hard as he could. "YEE ******** HA b***h."

As if Chryses gave two shits what some Hunter ghoul's name was-dear Jack that Mei was agile for an undead. The Greed demon had certainly never been used as a springboard before, and Mei's clearly powerful strike coupled with his own ineffectual flailing left a rather nasty bruise on his ego.
He actually squeaked in shock when Mort got taken down by a net. Embarrassing yourself left and right, Chryses. Very nice.CURRENT STATUS:HP: 30/30 Attacks: 2/2 Target: Sasha Damage: FAIL FREETile Number: 17 Chryses looks like this.

Turning around, she just narrowly missed a net which then hit Mort and took him down. A heavy frown came to her lips as her brow furrowed. Unsure of how to help him and too afraid to touch the net out of fear. She danced in place for a second, wracking her brain for a solution to the current problem. Then kneeled down next to the boil, at least trying to make sure he was ok. Chryses looked a little butt hurt out of the corner of her eye though. But he made a good spring board at least? The young boil suddenly emerged into the area, nose to the ground as his glowing red gaze shot up at the chaos. Well. That was certainly unexpected. He straightened out and tucked his hands in his pockets before scuddling along a wall, trying to go unnoticed and yet figure out what was going on.

Well that was what he got for sparing that one second to give Alex a look. Net time.
Worse, the cackle the lamia gave as Alex destroyed her golem had a timbre of the familiar that Mort couldn't unite place, though it was enough to added an extra thorn in his brief rage moment as he thrashed against the netting ineffectually. Bad memories. So many bad memories.
He even panicked, for a few moments, that he would soon blackout and wake up in the weaponizing chamber not for the first time, nor even a second, but a Jackin' third time. Chryses's little moment of spas was lost on the zomboil as he tried to rationalize his way through the blindsiding panic, vicegrips forcing the thread to cut intros his hands as he watched both the unsettling familiar fake fall and a second one as well, taken down expertly by Yin in one fell swoop.
Funny. Five minutes ago he was standing over their captured bodies, and now it had come full circle.
"Hate this," he murmured, squeezing the net further. "Alex, watch those two til can get out. Just a sec . . ."
And thus Mort began trying to gnaw his way out like a good zombie. Well he took a few seconds' pause to give Mei what he hoped was an encouraging "Don't' worry about me" smile. And then back to nom nom noming.

Calder was going to give Rep the ride of hi life. The moment she felt him on her back, she did what any kelpie would be proud to do with an unwanted pest, and started to jump and buck and kick. Then, for shits and giggles, she used her suction skin to make sure he stayed on for a bit. Why ruin the ride this early?
"I'm going to scramble your brains!" She whinnied and started to kick about and buck.

Suddenly this whole thing was a horrible, horrible idea. He was being shaken around like a fuzzy backpack, felt dizzy, nauseous and utterly terrified. It didn't help that when he tried to let go, he suddenly found he couldn't, stuck in ********, Kelpie, right. HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER.
"Fuuuuuck" he yelled "HELP, SOMEONE SEND THIS OLD ******** CLAPPED OUT MARE TO THE KNACKERS"
He didn't normally look for help, but right now, he was so dizzy he could hardly think.

That laugh from the hunter/golem was slightly disconcerting, but Alex answered it with a grin that didn't at all match the look in his eyes that he was giving her. The one that said 'jack right off and please die". Thankfully, she did just as he was hoping, and the golem form crumbled around his fist in a way that was most fulfilling to the zomboil. He pulled back once she was good and gone, shaking out his dust covered hand and turning to check on the others. Okay, so Mort was still down, and it appeared Danny and some others he didn't recognize were as well. That wasn't so good. Mei and her companion seemed relatively unharmed, and he was relieved to spy his bonded nearby as well. Still, they were hardly out of danger just yet. There were still a few hunters about with their trap guns, and there was also the hunter who kept speaking through some kind of speaker system, apparently in control of the glowing tiles below them. Also, hadn't he said something about the system warming up? That definitely didn't sound good. "Guys I really think what we need to be doing is trying to find a way to get out of here." He hissed as he approached, trying to look everywhere at once in case more nets got shot in their direction. That bad feeling in the pit of his stomach was returning, now that the adrenaline rush of attacking was wearing off. After all, had this not been the same way Ashly and all of her friends had gone down? Alexander didn't know what happened to the ghoul after she had been trapped at the end of the trance, but he had a pretty good hunch that it wasn't anything good. Of course, the only exit he even knew about was the door that they had entered from, and by now he was so turned around he wasn't even sure where that was. It appeared like for the moment there only options were to fight. "But disregarding that idea, since I'm not even sure how we would start to find an exit, just keep sharp, pay attention, and try not to make yourself too big of a target." That was rich, coming from the 6'2" zombie who apparently refused to just stop growing. He cast his bonded a quick glance, trying to catch his eye and give him a nod, if nothing else just to show him that he was still okay.

It was a shame Taima was too busy struggling with the net to watch the thorough a**-kicking Amrita gave the golem; she probably could have learned a thing or two. She hated the feeling of being trapped, though, couldn't stomach even the thought of anything holding her down, keeping her from the sky. She didn't even register the presence of the other ghoul until she called her name. "I'm fine," Taima insisted, "I'm just a little...tied up at the moment. Be careful, there's more of them and--watch out!" Taima called just a little too late as a net caught Amrita up, too. Great, now they were both caught and it was entirely her fault for wandering off. This was unacceptable. Her first order of business when they got back was going to be to learn how to be less useless in combat. She refused to be a burden, especially if they got into this kind of trouble as often as Amrita had said. "Sorry, Amrita," Taima muttered sheepishly.
