Jeromy placed his other hand over Inari's as she called him her best friend. He knew that it was true in some ways, but he wanted her to have other friends as well. He heard her saying that he could invite his cousin and her boyfriend. He also heard it be said that she would invite her friend along with her friend's boyfriend. "That's fine Inari. I could text or call my cousin now. I was thinking about calling her to see if she bought the necklace anyways." He had been eating his food this whole time and he was nearly done with all of his dinner. There was a tiny chunk of potatoes and a few vegetables left, but the steak was devoured. Hearing that Inari said they could go when Jeromy was done with his food, he looked at her and said, "I'm done and we can go right now if you want." He then added that he would actually be a few minutes because he needed to change his shirt.{{Pulled the batteries off the charger an hour or so early, but I don't care razz And your post is fine biggrin }}

Inari smiled and too Jeromy's plate as he went. "Jer, I really don't need a necklace for my birthday..." she smiled, softly, waiting at the door as he changed. She knew she was perving, but figured it's ok. "Almost ready?" she was distracted looking at his toned chest. Even after a moth of virtually doing nothing, he still looked like he was sculpted from marble. After a moments hesitation, she walked up to him, midchange, and kissed him, sighing at the familiar feel of his lips. ((Sorry, again >.< I was shopping xD))

Jeromy nade his way to their room and stripped his shirt off. He heard that Inari followed and knew that she was probably looking at him, but he didn't mind. Hearing that Inari didn't need the necklace he sighed. He knew that, but he wanted to get it for her anyways. He heard Inari asking if he was almost done and he shook his head. He had his new shirt halfway on before he saw Inari come over to him and kiss him. He kissed her back and slipped his shirt on the rest of the way. When he pulled away he said, "We can go to see your father now since I'm ready. Unless you still need something before we go?" He had his crutches ready and was ready to go with Inari.{{Sorry for not replying right away. I was trying to ask why someone closed an RP I was in. The thing I find to be very rude was they restarted it without even asking me if I wanted back in it.... I mean it's just three people that are in it now. I was a very active and very literate RPer in that and they toss me aside like I wasn't a part of the RP.....}}

Inari grinned,"Just something small..." she trailed off and gave him another quick, soft kiss. She pecked his lips and walked away, getting the bag of food for her father. "C'mon," she slipped her shoes on, knowing Jeromy would follow. She got into the car and put the key into the ignition, driving to the hospital when Jeromy was ready. When they arrived, she got out as waited for Jeromy, going inside to the nurse. She went up to her fathers room and entered, holding Jeromy's hand. ((Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I was typing this and then my singing teacher came and I. Forgot >.< sorry!!!))

Jeromy really wasn't sure what was going to happen or be said once they were in the room with Mr. Curneel. But he sucked it up and then followed Inari into the room. He was gripping Inari's hand rather tightly and he was moving along slowly, since he couldn't really go fast with his crutches slowing him down. Yet, he'd have been going slow without them.{{It's ok and sorry this is short XD}}

Inari could see, and feel, the tension in the air. "Hey, dad!" she gently pulled her hand from Jeromy's iron grip and gave her father a kiss. Mr.Curneel smiled at his daughter and, Surprisingly enough, he smiled at Jeromy, too. "Jeromy! Er....s-son!" Inari almost norted, seeing how uncomfortable her father was. She walked over to Er boyfriend and took his hand, again, squeezing it gently. "I see you're keeping my daughter happy..." Inari took the bag of food she brought and have it to him before Jeromy could answer. "Yes, daddy, I'm very happy. I right you some food. I know hospital food is gross," she laughed and her father thanked her. She beckoned Jeromy to her, pointing at the chair. ((It's ok xp and sorry again, I was eating dinner :3. I have to go soon so if I just log out, it's cause I'm at a Zumba class lmfao))

Jeromy wasn't sure he wanted to even be on the same block as Mr. Curneel, let alone in the same building or room. Though, he was going to act as normal as he possibly could for Inari. At the sound of Mr. Curneel's voice, Jeromy's head snapped up and his fell right on the older man. The words that came from Inari's father confused him very much. Why on earth did Mr. Curneel call him son? Jeromy swore that he was hated by the man and was now being called son? What was with all this confusion? Jeromy's head began spinning a bit, but he shook the feeling off. He nodded at the fact that he was keeping Inari happy. When he saw Inari motion for him to sit in the chair next to the bed, Jeromy hesitated a bit before slowly making his way to the chair, sitting down.

Inari smiled at Jeromy and put her hands on his shoulders, leaning against him. "So, dad, how're you feeling?'' she asked, feeling nervous herself. Mr.Curneel finished the potato off, giving an appreciative hum, and shrugged. "How does a man who just had a heart attack feel? I feel crappy, hon, honestly. I wanna move around," he joked, winking. Inari laughed. It was funny, because her dad hated exercise and moving around. "How's your leg, Jeromy?" he asked, looking over at the boy, trying to keep a smile on his face.

As Jeromy sat down, he really didn't look over at Mr. Curneel. He wasn't very comfortable and knew if he kept acting like he was both Inari and her father were going to sense it. He just sat there, listening to what Inari and her father were saying because he wasn't sure of what to say to them right then. When he was asked about his leg, the question made Jeromy snap out of the little trance he'd put himself in. "Huh? Oh, my leg? It feels ok I suppose." Was all Jeromy said in reply, not knowing what else to really say.

Inari laughed nervously at Jeromy's answer. "You're quite the space cadet, aren't ya, Jeromy?" Mr.Curneel laughed and Inari squeezed Jeromy's shoulders, warning him not to blow up. "Ina, dear, will you get me a diet coca cola?" Inari grimaced at the name but nodded. She kissed Jeromy's cheek as went to the hall. "Do you love my daughter?" Mr.Curneel turned to Jeromy. "Or are you just saying that for her money? Tell me the truth boy or, so help me god, I will hurt you where it counts most." he promised.

Jeromy looked at Inari as she laughed, seemingly nervously at his reply to her father. He squirmed as Mr. Curneel laughed, but kept himself composed. He then watched as Inari walked out to the hall to get a diet cola for her father; leaving Jeromy alone in the room with Mr. Curneel. He looked at a wall and listened to Inari's father, just taking everything in. When Jeromy heard Mr. Curneel asking if Jeromy really love Inari or her money, Jeromy growled a bit and said, his voice raising, "Listen old man. I know you think some people just care about people for their money, but I swear by everything I believe in. I. Love. Inari. I don't love her money. Of course I love her. Why else would I have bought her that..... Oh my God..... I almost slipped up.... And my voice was so loud just now..." Jeromy's voice started getting very quiet as he stopped himself from almost slipping up about the ingagement ring. He knew that the soda machine wasn't that far down the hall and it didn't take long to get a soda. He prayed that Inari was still down the hall and getting that soda. As well as that she hadn't heard what was being so very loudly said.

Inari came back, her cheeks flushed. "S-sorry it took so long. The vending machine didn't work so I ran downstairs, then I ran to the cafeteria, then I ran back here. Here..." she gave he father a plastic cup with a lid and a straw. She went back to Jeromy, putting her hands lightly around his neck from behind. "So, what'd I miss?" she smiled and her father grunted, taking the cup. "I'm tired. I'd appreciate if you went home and let me sleep..." Inari was a bit hurt, but nodded. "O-ok...C'mon, Jer." she walked out of the room and to the car, feeling sad.

Jeromy got up and then gladly left the room. He walked out feeling a little bad that he yelled at Mr. Curneel, but when his love for Inari was questioned he was bound to expload. He went to the car, slowly following Inari and once in the car he said, "I-I think that was my fault.... With your dad wanting to be left to sleep....." He didn't look at Inari as he slid his crutches to the back seat of the car. He felt terrible and knew Inari would be mad. He knew he had to learn to control his temper, but it was just so hard for him to do so.

What happened? What did I do? Inari pouted to herself. "What!? Jer, that's absurd!" she took his hand. Her father didn't like Jeromy, but he wasn't that rude! It must've been something that she did..."What could you have possibly done? Jer, he may not like you, but but he isn't rude. Trust me, it's not your fault," she rubbed his hand, offering a small

Jeromy loked out the window before saying, "Oh, believe me it was my fault.... He asked me if I really loved you or your money. I got angry, yelled a little and said some other things... Nothing bad I swear, just nothing I can tell you about now." He then looked at Inari telling her that it was a secret and that he'd eventually tell her, but now was just not the right time. He hoped she'd understand, but he guessed she'd more than likely nag to find out what he was hiding.
