He said, heading down the steps and holding her a little tighter so as to not jostle her. "Besides, what kind of man would I be to let you drive home tired? And you aren't exactly heavy." "Ours tend to be full of strange plants and creatures that normally people would scoff at." He said, pausing and tensing as the trees above them began moving. He continued to watch until the shadow of a squirrel passed over the leaves and he relaxed and continued walking. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"There are things I'd rather not run into in the dark, but I won't bring them up for fear of ruining the mood of our stroll." He said. "And I've not found any evidence of those particular creatures here anyway. And the Dullahan shouldn't bother us, considering neither of are dead or dying and those are the only people they generally show up to or go after as prey." He said and sighed almost at once. It is only proper I protect you from its dangers." He said as artificial light began streaming through the trees."It seems as though our walk is almost at its end."
((I was thinking maybe some time in the night or on her way to the shop in the morning either by something relatively harmless like a pack of phookas or Nibelungen or maybe some dark faerie like Awd Goggie. Or just some elves. They tend to take people and force them to dance then drop them off centuries in the future.))╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"Well, a little is better than not at all I suppose, though I wish I could do more." he said, setting her upright. "However, I doubt your parents would appreciate what I'm sure they would assume was a kidnapping if I didn't bring you home, so..." He held her there for a short time before stepping back some. "Bright and early." He said, smiling at her before turning to step off of her porch, though he turned to wave as he made his way to the road.
