 He who dares__________________________Eric looked over at Dara when she mentioned Blanks. "I've never heard of that before..." he said thoughtfully. "But it does sound important. A blank....blank what?" The wheels in his mind were turning as he thought "Blank resonance force? No, he definitely has that. His soul is strange but I've seen it...." WINS

Dara gave Eric a weak smile. "I'm sorry, that's all I caught because I was watching you serve up some cans of smack down on some people." Dara laughed, trying to diffuse the tension at least a little bit.

He who dares__________________________Eric thought for a moment longer. "Nurse Mortem? Yeah, she's the nurse at this school isn't she? I wonder how she would know James....Regardless, she has to be my next stop. We need to rescue Atticus, but James is a more immediate threat." He looked Dara in the eyes. "Take this guy seriously Dara. He's dangerous. Big time. Trust me, I know." WINS

Dara frowned and looked back down at her knees. "I know. It's just I'm the one that made you all upset, and I want to make you happy again. But it's fine, I'm sure after all this is over, you'll be back to your happy self."

Sabrewolf123 It always feels so weird not being able to use y'all, you guys and you two just sounds weird. Is there a word like that for you?
Dara put her head on Eric's shoulder and smiled, happy she didn't completely mess everything up. "So how did you and Mr. Sociopath meet? I know you were a little psychopathic, so were you two just drawn to each other?"

He who dares__________________________Eric gave a small smile. "We both fought together in the Arenas. We resonated well together for some reason; probably since we both enjoyed bloodshed so much. The first time was just as part of a random match. Once the Arena Master saw how well we worked together, he started making us a team, usually against one much stronger monster or something. He'd do that when he really wanted to draw a crowd. We were never friends though. Even as I was in the Arenas, his.....enjoyment of causing pain was off-putting."WINS

Dara nodded as Eric told of how he and James met. "That sounds kind of ironic coming from a had been psychopath. If he had been paired with you when you were almost a kishin egg, that's saying something. What kind of weapon was he? I wasn't really paying attention to exactly what he was in the illusion."

Celiabemont lol yeah. You guys and you two feel comfortable to me Asked Eric, unsure what she was talking about. He shook his head. "He was a gunblade with a revolver form. He specializes in long-range attacks but he can do short-range if needsbe." He tried to think for a moment to see if he could come up with anything else about James. "He's extremely polite, especially in public, but he has a sadistic side that he doesn't show as often. You kinda have to....catch him at the right moment or put him in a situation where he'll be tempted to show it..." Eric said, trying to put into words how James worked. WINS

Sabrewolf123 That's because we grew up saying those things so it feels natural.
Dara quickly realized her mistake and mentally smacked her head. "Oh it's nothing. I was just thinking of a lot of different things and it probably just came out. So he's a gunblade, hmm that's interesting. And him being polite was one of the things I liked about him even if I was suspicious. He was constantly giving me compliments and just being a perfect little gentleman."

He who dares__________________________Eric put his hand on Dara's shoulder. "Hey, Atticus can handle himself just fine," he told her, referring both to Jetter and to Atticus's predicament. "So Atticus and Shira then? Okay, well I don't think Atticus needs to worry about being attacked by Jetter right now. Shira might be in danger, though I don't know for sure."WINS
