Dom barely heard it, only narrowly seen it. The shrill whistle of wind pricked his ears, and then, craaack, the sound of bone upon impact. Dominic's oceanic blue eyes raged backwards just in time to watch the captain skid across the grassy field. He cringed just then, grit his teeth and nodded at the last piece of instruction offered. It was up to him now to protect the team, he swallowed a dry lump in his throat and raced to a bludger. Every ounce of determination raged in his veins as he slammed his bat forward aiming for Heather.

Annabelle gasped, a horrified expression lingered on her features as the reflection of Ronyo's fallen body crashed into the ground, and yet, his pride still shined. She couldn't help but help but feel the impending stress for victory. She had to win this. Her teammates needed her and she would not let them down, but if she did, she knows exactly what she'll do first, duel, to calm herself. Green eyes ravaged the field, Belle would not give up now.

 β Dhylan Nolynn β | Chaser | First Year | Hufflepuff | βββββββββββββββ Dhyl flew faster, ready to try and steal again, when he heard a dull crash. He looked t the ground to see Ronyo, laying there. He had helped Dhyl out earlier, so the younger boy felt horrible. Dhyl tried to remember where he was, on a broom, barely, but safe. He needed to help his team win. He amped up his speed and tried again to steal. What no one saw, however, were he tears of pain and fear in the first year's eyes. anbu_ninja_penguin Soemtimes you need to step back..... Vanessa spotted Dhylan trying to steal. She had to give him props for continuing. But that was all he was getting. The fifth year was the eldest Slytherin still on the field since ronyo seemed to have rotten luck for this game. Actually the whole team seemed to be having unfortunate luck. She quickly rose upwards to avoid the first year.

Jasmine Acacia Fourth Year Slytherin Keeper βββββββββββ ββ ββ β ββββββ Jasmine gasped as she watched helplessly as Ronyo fell to the ground. Things weren't looking good. They had no captain, and they were doing horribly. The keeper needed to get it together. She couldn't fail at protecting something twice. Not today. Not when her first failure sat in the stands.
Pulling herself together, Jasmine focused. Ronyo would want them to go on. Based on the amount of yelling he was doing, Jasmine knew this to be true. She had to put aside the tragedy of last year. Tragedy happened everyday, perhaps not murder, but there was certainly no room for such things on the Quidditch Pitch. She gasped, thinking this event was impossible. As he fell hard and landed on the ground, Heather flew down, just a little, and saluted the fallen Captain. It was only the right thing to do. He was one of the best beaters she had ever seen, and the second year girl looked up to him, in a way, even though he was a Slytherin. He'll be fine. He's tougher than he seems. Now, get back in the game. she thought as she flew up higher. WHACK! A bludger had hit bat, and the only place left to turn was to Dominic. The first year had tried to hit her, yet again, only to fail, yet again. Heather shot forward, flying towards the Beater. Once close enough, she stuck her tongue out at him, and waved. "Can't get me, Domy-Dom!" she called as she raced away, giving him something to chase. Better her than her Chasers, right? Speeding around the pitch, she spotted a bludger heading her way. What am I doing? Second game versus Slytherin
What am I thinking? Poor Ronyo Katrina saw it with her Inner Eye seconds before it happened, but as she turned to shout a warning to the Slytherin team captain, she saw the bludger smack him and knock him to the ground. She recoiled from the sight and the sudden crack sound. She made a mental note to visit him after the game, then, biting her lip, turned her attention back to the game. Dhylan was still trying to get the Quaffle from Vanessa, so Kat came up on her other side and attempted to swat the ball from her hands. Out of Character Chaser Life 1 Life 2 Life 3

Dominic shook his head, his shot missed and he didn't care to keep counting. He bit his lip as he drifted and whipped around, soaring to the guard lines beside his teammates. A forlorn frown struck him as fleeting as lightning when her noticed the absence of his captain. Suddenly, he noticed a blur of yellow growing closer and closer. Just as he maneuvered his head to catch a better glimpse, he heard her. He should have sneered, glared, or cursed. But he only smiled, challenge accepted.
Instead of pursuing defenses, he spun to face Heather head on, crashing straight for her and the impending bludger she had hurled his way. When, at the last moment, he seemed he milliseconds from disaster, he whipped his arm back and plunged forth using every ounce of raw power and dynamic velocity to his advantage to send the same ball Heather had thrown right back to her teammate, Katrina, who kept coming up out of no where on Vanessa's tail.

Soemtimes you need to step back..... Vanessa dove again to dodge the dual steal attempts. It truth all of this up and down was starting to get the blonde a bit dizzy. However she wasn't enough to seriously affect her game. In fact the girl bit her lip a bit she had to come up with a better way to dodge steal attempts. If she knew where or what happened to the rest of her teammates she could pass. But the fifth year hadn't seen any of them since the toss up. Her eyes quickly scanned the area around. The third hufflepuff chaser, who she didn't quite reconize, was keeping her two teammates busy somehow, she wasn't too sure how he was succeeding in it but then the chaser was definately older then the first and second year they were blocking.
Annabelle was eagerly searching for the snitch and not seeming to have any success, but nor was the Hufflepuff seeker. The Slytherin fifth year turned her head to see what else was going on. Dominic seemed to be upping his game in an attempt to cover their missing beater and captain. Jasmine was clearly worried about something but as to what Vannessa was unsure aside from that it could have something to do with the events of last year. Once she was settled in knowing where all of the members of both teams were, The female tightened the grip on her broom and speed up some more.

She could feel the light grasp of exhaustion curl its fingers around her throat, clasp them tight, and watch her choke. She veered left, spiraling the field from all its vantage points. Keen green eyes waited, searched, trembled in her pursuit. Dry, cracked lips pursed together as the rapid winds broke apart for her. Below her, her teammates scrambled from one end to the next, nearing the goal posts with every ragged breath. With the shake of her head, she was right back in focus.

Soemtimes you need to step back..... As She tried to line up her shot towards the hoops, Vanessa dodge a steal without even trying to. Moving her broom slightly to the right she found a point she felt would be good for the shot. Taking a deep breath she threw the quaffle towards the rings.
