Strong and regal-looking horns that they were, when the rock it one of them the tip crumbled and broke off far easily. With its eye destroyed, its jaw shattered, its claw crushed and its ribs decimated... perhaps this was the last line of defense it had. HP REMAINING: 40

Chaos, sheer and utter chaos!
For someone as tiny as Dahlia, the battlefield was as much about avoiding being trampled over and accidentally bit by stuff as it was about fighting. The constant pings of new dark senshi energy however made it more then worth the danger, her heart soaring, pride beaming with each new senshi she could feel appearing among their midsts.
There was one nearby, one who looked a little lost, like a dog just waiting to jump in but held back by a chain.
"Thule, senshi of Rust! You need to call your attack name out and the powers will come to you."
Her tail lashed as her eyes darted across the field, waiting around long enough to make sure the senshi understood before she head off again.

Thisbe hit the ground with a jostle, wincing hard but managing to recover in just enough time to keep herself from being stomped by Sugilite's boot. She rolled off to the side, eyes narrowing at the sound of torn fabric as her skirt caught on a jagged rock.
Thisbe lay there for a moment or two before pushing herself back up to her feet, eyes gazing around the battlefield in an attempt to determine her next course of action.

Hara Berezaiti hit the scene as confused as was possible, for a girl who, a month and a half ago, would have informed you coldly that magic was all smoke, mirrors, and wire, and that if you believed otherwise, perhaps some counseling was in order. Perhaps medication even. She'd been sure she was about to die, maybe she'd even missed the moment of her death... maybe it was some kind of hallucination brought on by shuffling off this mortal coil, the final insult after Space Whales, Bats, tentacle monsters, spiders....and fish.
She hadn't even been able to really collect her thoughts enough to follow Leo's request for them to go and 'meet' their princess... she'd met Tink... er... Princess Chronos. She'd helped her move stones for the wall...fought with her. Bled on the ground there. She'd have bled so much more if it had bought the others their lives, but she hadn't... and their sacrifice had only bought a little time, which was somehow worse. They'd given up everything that they had and were, without so much as a 'by your leave', and then just like that, they were gone. Because of more impossible monsters.
Protect The Princess That was the only drive she had left, an dusty thing from some distant but familiar part of her, as though someone had broken down the plaster wall of her room to reveal an ancient corridor to someplace sacred, but forgotten.
Dad Was another thought that popped into her mind, irrationally. What would he think if he could see her now? After a month and a half in space, wielding an glittering scarf as a weapon... would be be proud of her for trying to defend people, even though she'd failed? Would she be alive at the end of this to go home... to throw her arms around him and hug him until he couldn't breathe and her shoulders ached, and her mother too?
Would it even matter if she couldn't save one, single life?
She was ashamed not to have pulled herself together faster, though pieces of her worldview were lying in shattered pieces around her feet, mixed intangibly with the whirling dust of pieces of shattered bone from the Youma that was being slowly, SLOWLY beaten back.
She had to protect the princess. She had to protect SOMEONE. Just this ONCE she couldn't fail.
"THEY JUST WANTED TO GO HOME!!!"
It was a shitty battle cry, all things considered, but she meant it, and although it would never be recorded as particularly memorable for phrasing, her charging scream as she wrapped the scarf around her hand to protect herself was raw with rage and grief... and no small touch of her own homesickness.
She'd learned already that she set the standard for 'throwing like a girl' as a bad thing, but some things really required a punch in the jaw even hanging loose as it was, there was still injury that could be added to insult for this horrible thing and everything it represented.

((Still those around the Princess.))
While there was a duty to protect the Great Youma, there was also the reality that the youma was fighting them to make progress to take over the surrounding. If they could get to the princess, they could take that very surrounding and tilt the battle in their favor. While he would have loved to go after that one senshi that jumped over him, a bright star darting ahead, he knew that one down meant one less person protecting the Princess. He wanted to cut them down. He wanted a rematch to the Princess he meet back when he was a fresh lieutenant. Back when he knew far less and had less battles under his belt. Things had changed now, many things, and he was more than ready. Princess or not, he would make a different during this battle.
Whipping his weapon back, he eyed the blood on the serrated blades. No. This time, when he cut, it TORE skin. Shredded it to pieces, and that mark would not be a clean, smooth cut. He could only hope he managed to stab someone. Stabbing was nice, but he decided that the clustered girls all focused in once place made them great targets to just throw his weapon out wide into a arch and try to slide them all in one go. If they jumped, then they failed as cover for the Princess. Either way it was a win.

Alright, he wanted off of this thing now. It was not a fun ride. The last place he wanted to be when everyone finally managed to destroy this thing was stuck to it.
Ganymede flailed around a little bit -- quite gracefully, he thought, all things considered -- and somehow managed to pull himself free.
Another success!
Though he couldn't help himself and kicked the tail again, glaring at it and inching backwards so as to avoid becoming stuck a second time.

Camelot pushed himself to his feet. He saw all the fighting around him, the monster struggling to survive, those fighting it struggling to defeat it. He couldn't let them fight alone, though they were all together. They were one, senshi and knight and any who offered their power to this defense.
He would not let his friends struggle in vain. If they had to lose, he would join them in a blaze of glory. He would fight for them, with them, until his last ounce of energy was spent, and the last breath was dragged from his lungs.
He pushed away from the ground like a racer at the starting gun, running and stooping to grab his shield up into his hand. He felt something, not a rush of power so much of relief, as he touched the familiar weapon. It seemed to welcome him back, in its way. He skidded to a stop, turning and changing his advance back toward the youma.
He ran once more.
Barely breathing, he felt his shield shudder. The Terra Viridis crystal was glowing, feeding off him and all but speaking to him in its silent voice of green aura. He almost crashed into someone, looking at it while running blindly as he was, but he leaped to the side just in time and kept his feet under him. Righting himself, he ran forward again, closing the distance between himself and the creature.
"Terra Viridis Crystal Power!"
He heard himself yell, though these words were not ones he had known before. He held his shield in both hands, over his head, aiming up at the great beast and skidding to a stop once he was close enough. What told him that he did not know. He didn't know what he was doing. He just did it.

Super Sailor Corvus had gotten stuck. She was stuck rather solidly and saw few options at her disposal. Wriggling, as she had proven during this round, did very little to help un-glue oneself from a giant youma as it tromped around and crumbled to bits. She knew that and she knew one other thing...
She did not want to still be stuck to it when the youma went down.
Steeling herself, Corvus did the only other thing she thought she could. "Violent Revenge." Corvus let out a point blank attack on the bit of the youma that she was currently still very much stuck to in hopes of forcing herself off of it; a ditch effort.

Draconis was busy looking at her arm. It felt incredibly sore, and even moving it was painful. Whatever had been in that skeleton chunk had been hard, and had hit her fast. She knew it wasn't dislocated or broken, because she could wiggle her fingers, but it definitely wasn't in any condition to be in a fight like this.
Not everything went the way she wanted though. She was in a battle, and was going to move that arm around.
Things went from bad to worse though. As she was examining her arm, a sharp pain hit her in the side of the head, and everything went black for a moment. It faded out nearly instantly and her vision came back, only to see Howlite filling her vision.
As much as she wanted to storm over to the girl and flamethrower her face in, she couldn't. Draconis was on the ground, and was shaking to even try and stand up. She tried pushing her arms up with her hands, but collapsed onto her forearms, still shaking. This was the end wasn't it.
In a feeble attempt to somehow barder with the girl's soul, she weakly said, "Are you happy? Is this really what you wanted? People dying everywhere in the name of your justice? You caused this y'know. It was peaceful until you guys invaded." Perhaps it would strike home, perhaps not.

"God Damn IT...." He cursed as he pulled and eventually with a jarring heave he yanked his hands free. Unfortunately the weapon he'd been using stayed right where it was but that was the lease of his concerns at the moment. Scrambling backwards he tried to put as much distance between himself and the monstrosity as he could.
The gaping hole in it's back didn't look at all pleasant and he didn't want to be anywhere near it. He didn't really even want to be here. He'd just come up here to help sort books. Not to protect civilians or fight some giant army of Negaversers.

Beejoux Her hand impacted hard with the side of his head and she was surprised by it. She'd been expecting him to block, to catch her hand again, but he'd either been too slow, or didn't have the will in him to fight her anymore. Though even surprising, it was stratifying, and she could feel the bud of a smile twitching along her lips as she watched the bright ooze of blood running down his face. He stared up at her, and she met his eyes with her own cold hazel. he might have rattled her, just a bit, but he had not changed her mind. Something pulled his attention, and Navi saw an opening for another attack, he was making it so easy, but she stilled when he looked back up at her and grimaced. Preaching forgiveness and peace at her before finally begging forgiveness and charging away from her, towards something unseen on the battleground. It was a shocking thing for an enemy to do, and she stared after him a second or two before moving forward as if to give chase. he wasn't getting away from her that easily! Something else caught her eye though, and she stopped, turning to eye the prone figure in armor laying a little aways from the chaos of the fighting. She recognized him, he'd been the one that had fallen into nothingness with the senshi. How on earth had he gotten back here? Did it matter? Short answer; no. She let Camelot go, and instead ran towards Hematite, dropping to her knees beside him and pressing two fingers against the side of his throat to search for a pulse. He was hurt, badly, that much was very obvious. Navi's fingers came away bloody, but she'd felt the faint sign of life. Hematite had lost a lot of blood since the battle had started. But exhaustion would not set in for him like it would for anyone else this close to death's door. A single senshi's starseed had such energy that he was denied a painless unconsciousness. To separate himself from the pain he had been staring blankly up at the faint dome and the stars beyond, at arcs of light and magic and the crumbling pieces of the massive youma rearing above them all. The blur of the last few moments before they'd crashed into the Surrounding replayed in his mind. Virgo had gotten away. He'd failed. Again. He couldn't see who was beside him but he almost didn't care at this point. A heavy cough shook his body and he grabbed Navi's arm and pulled her closer, leaving it slick with warm blood. If the stranger hadn't come to kill him, they could help him. He didn't want to die. Virgo had shown him that. He coughed again, his only word coming out strangled as he implored the stranger whose face he stared up at. " Help."

Pasiphae panted as she continued to climb up the back of the Great Youma, unable to avoid shrieking whenever Polaris's and Magellan's combined attack made her cling to the beast's back. If not for the stickiness of the tar, she surely would have fallen. Then... as if as a gift, an opening appeared before her.
It was filled with blackness. Silence. It sent a chill for her to see no heart where one clearly belonged. It was if the inside of the youma was space itself. ...and the Shame Senshi knew what she had to do, even if it meant losing her own life. She raised a tarcovered fist and drove it into the blackness, hoping it would hurt the creature in some way.

Huh well, it seemed to have done something. Ah, but it might be good to get the senshi stuck on the tail unstuck. "Alright there?" he called over to Ganymede.
"Try throwing s**t at the horns. They break easy and it's a total stress relief." What was better than breaking s**t when the world was going to hell, anyway? Ah, it seemed like Pasiphae had the same idea!
"We've got you covered from down here!" he called to Pasiphae as she climbed up onto the youma to attack whatever she could. All he could do was watch and hope to catch her if she fell or was thrown off. While waiting to see what kind of damage she did, though, he picked up another rock to throw at the horns.
"Everyone else is welcome to throw s**t at the thing. No? Okay..." he glanced around him to see what everyone else was doing, before looking back over to Ganymede. "Guess they never got their tea..." he mumbled, nodding to the Zodiacs.

"Already put on Eternal into a sink hole...I thought I'd come see who was so honor-less as to attack it from behind...and look who I found." He stated, smirking at the blond. His smirk broke as he burst out laughing at the now stuck senshi.
"Poor little senshi....maybe I should play your game and play unfairly....Hmmm." Approaching with his brush in hand he raised it over his head when he was close enough and brought it down on the newly freed senshi. Why couldn't the senshi have stayed stuck for a bit, or a lot, longer. He'd have liked that a lot.

A lush green light briefly sparked around Camelot as he called on the power of the Crystal worked into his shield. It looked almost overly theatric, a flash of sparkle and shine that was more appropriate for a senshi than it was for a Knight. But then it was followed by a great swelling of power, of cosmic energy, in a sparking pulse towards the crumbling dragon.
There was no time to react. It was too big, and too slow. Its crumbled in the wake of the light, and shattered instantly. As the light faded the monster stood there in an oddly human shock at the impact, as the hunger faded from its remaining eye to be replaced with something else... defeat.
The Great One let out a final, deafening howl, and crumbled to the road where it became motionless. The patchwork flesh on its bones began to fade, tarlike blood and unusual secretions both evaporating.
Had the senshi and Knights actually won?
And what of the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror... were they going to be stuck here, left to the designs of their enemies?
