The voice would say ....as a potion would appear out of nowhere. Just a shimmer closer to the ground as the item appears on his right next to his feet. Though that wasn't all as a second shimmer would appear after that ....as the the small little water type pokemon would appear to his right a few feet away.
"Have your pokemon drink that potion and the battle shall begin."

Xenix would look at the potion then to the now fully conjured water pokemon in front of him. He would bend down and pick up the potion and wondered what it was.
"Bronzor come here, you heard the voice."
With that Bronzor would come over, and reluctantly, took the potion.
'For all i know it could be poison, and you go ahead and listen to a voice you've never heard of, and listen to it blindly?! I thought we're a team man!'
"Oh come on, i dont think this school would poison you when they want you to battle"
And with that bronzor levitated away from Xenix and looked at the shellos.
"Bronzor get ready to dodge whatever comes your way"

It wouldn't take long ...as the Mud Slap would be spray across the area between them. The Shellos wasn't taking any moments to rest before attacking, because the moment that the potion disappeared down the pokemon's throat ..the fight was on.
The mudslap hitting his opponent with a force that would make many a pokemon hit the ground on their back. It was obvious that this Shellos wasn't going to play around with his opponent.

[7-6+7-9=-1*2=-2 no damage]  Bronzor lvl:2/Hardy Hp: 14 Pp: 16 Att: 6 Def: 9 Spd: 6 Sp att: 6 Sp Def; 9 Moves: Tackle, Confusion, Stealth Rock Exp: 0/100 The hit was dead on, and for any other pokemon, would have caused them to be out for the count, but in this case, the mud slapped Bronzor and sort of just slid off.Xenix grinned, as this was a good start to the battle, it seemed that his luck was starting to turn, he decided to not count his chickens before they hatch "Ok Bronzor time to go on the offensive use confusion!" Bronzor would shake off the rest of the mud off of his face, not even quicker then a second his eyes were glowing a multitude of colors embedded with random thoughts that would make the smartest person clouded up and confused in the head; and released it towards the shellos

Shellos felt the waves upon waves of confusion as he tries to shake it off. Shivering from head to tail ..the seemingly slow moving pokemon would inch forward as he tries to use simple will power to block the confusion. To keep it at an arms length from his mind, which is what such an attack tends to like to attack.

This effort would prove to be futile as the shellos would be laying on the ground just barely conscious on the ground
"Fantastic job, Bronzor, time to finish this! Use tackle!"
Bronzor's eyes returned to normal, and as quick as he was there, he was off and was heading for shellos hopefully one last attack

Though what he had committed to in that moment was called a counter-attack, and with him attacking as such ....the Shellos had a chance in one hit to turn everything around as he would use Mudslap again. The attack aimed at the Bronzor's head even as he would charge forwards ....this was about to take a very interesting turn.

A boy with black hair walked into the room and sighed. He had to admit, he was a bit nervous about being here but at least he still had someone he knew. The boy's friend was a Pokemon; a Deino walking beside him. It seemed to gently rub his head against the boy's hand, asking to be pet. Doug stopped his pace and turned to face his friend. A gentle sound of something tumbled out of the shirt pocket he was wearing as he'd knelt down. His eyes widened when the item; a pill bottle settled on the ground. Snatching it up and putting it in the white coat pocket he was wearing, Doug began petting his Pokemon's head as if nothing had happened.

"Welcome to the Battle arena."
A voice would declare from nowhere, but the sound would seem to be everywhere at once. The disembodied voice that greeted him would be without any sort of infliction int he voice leaving it as monotone as possible as it continued.
"You are here to see if you are truly qualified for your team. So with that in mind, your final test will be a battle. Tell me, will you choose to take the tutorial or fight all out?"
The voice asked as it waited for it's answer before it would continue.

Doug almost jumped at the voice, his hand flinching off of his Pokemon's head for a second. He looked up and around for the voice but realised upon hearing it a second time, it was synthetic. The boy rose to his feet and smiled down at the Deino before looking forward. "I'd like a Tutorial, please." He said softly, trying to sound as calm and polite as possible before the final test could begin.

The voice would declares as two things would shimmer into existence. The first was a small potion and the second was the pokemon they would be fighting. Neither seemed to subtract from the voice in the least as it declares next.
"Any good battle starts once the particaptes are declared. You must summon your pokemon in front of you."
From the ceiling a score board would come downwards showing off the stats of one pokemon ...the one he would be facing while the other screen remain blank.
"Once you have declares your pokemon, it's stats should appear as well. This is the start of battle, in which the fastest will attack first, but before this match shall begin I need you to also have your pokemon drink that potion. This is to insure that there is no harsh feelings afterwards."
The voice tells him.
(Please make it a point to display your pokemon's stats in your next post)

Doug took in his surroundings and watched the Pokemon opposite him and his Deino. He watched as the Potion and scoreboard appeared one after the other. The boy nodded and picked up the potion then knelt down in front of his Pokemon. "Dreiden, I'm gonna need you to open your mouth and drink this, ok?" The trainer requested as the Deino complied and opened his mouth. The potion was poured quickly into the Pokemon's mouth. An audible gulp was heard as the dual-type Pokemon shook his head. "I know... I hate medicine too but lets get this over with, hmm?" At the same time Doug rose to his feet, Dreiden walked forward and pawed at the ground a little. "We're ready."

"So, speed is not an issue here."
The voice would declares as his stats appeared on the scoreboard up above their heads.
"The fastest pokemon strikes first, and the slower one defends. This set the pace of battle, which is nothing more than that shift from ....defense to attack and attack until defense until the entire match ends. Now, to make this clear, all moves are considered attacks, so I wouldn't try using one if you want your pokemon to continue breathing."
"Death can happen ....especially if your pokemon's hp drops too low so don't be afraid to surrender a match." (-7hp. and below)
"Also, how well an attack hits depends on the accuracy. So, be aware of this as well."
"NOw, let's get started."
The Scyther would start forward as he jumps from one foot to the other before streaking forward so fast that it was almost impossible to catch his movements. His scythes held out and ready to slice into flesh with an ease that most knives would envy.
The choice was only one at this point to try and dodge such an attack.
(Everything here is decided by the dice, in the post action is the dice option. There you need to pick the 1 dice 20 sides. The accuracy roll is what we call that dice roll, and the attack only hits if the dice roll is higher than then defensive one. So in the case of a tie, it's defense that win.)

Doug's eyes were barely taking in the information told to him or the battle as he began calculating different chance numbers. "Dreiden, dodge. Run forward and duck, rolling between the Pokemon's legs." The Deino nodded and dashed forward a little, awaiting the time to roll.
