I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
Two more to go. He eyed the candies, wondering what they tasted like and was about to lick one before he stopped himself. No one wanted drool candy...expect maybe G. Calder gave one more candy away and spun the wheel.

Down to one candy, Calder handed it off. Might as well go for broke and there was always tomorrow. He now had a bad hankering for sugar cubes. He'd have to replenish his stash at some point.
That in mind, he spun the wheel.

Desu-chan, you're not hiding puppies in those teacups, are you?
Cady was back. And she was ready...
To desu.
She really wanted to try the teacup game again. She had had a pretty good go at it last time, and she felt confident she could score. "Ok, Laiha, this one is easy. You just have to throw a sugar cube into those cups," she instructed, pointing them out.
"Like, you win candy if you make it. Although I kind of wanted to eat the sugar cubes too but I like candy better, but you should at least like save the wrapper or something because you turn the candy in for prizes." There. That kind of made sense, and Cady felt sure she had included everything important.
Without further ado, she chucked her sugarlump at the cup tower. It landed in the top one AGAIN with a pleasant 'plink!'. She whooped, fisting the air and spreading her wings triumphantly.

Oh my. Oh dear. Everything was so bright and colorful here, everything was so... cute! Sweet scents alternately drew Laiha closer to the booth and made her want to run away, but she trusted in Cady for the moment. There was candy to be won here, and perhaps a giant sword or two?
The devourer followed her companion to the sugar cubes and hesitantly sniffed the batch. Not bad! She took a handful before she could be stopped and stuffed them into her mouth, only then hearing Cady's instructions. She looked down at her sticky hand and a cube that had not made it down her gullet, tossing it halfheartedly at the cups.
It missed completely.
Laiha pulled a face, deciding she didn't like this game much, and rumbled a bit to show her displeasure. So much for winning candy!

"Oh, sorry, sorry! Ash couldn't get it either I don't think, she's my friend you know and she showed me how to play these games. How about we try this next one?" Cady pointed out a booth where odd, pastry cats propelled by rainbows were racing around a circular track.
"You just um. You pick which one you want to bet on, and wait for the race to start to see how well they do." Cady stepped up to the booth, a determined look on her face. This game had bested her last time.
She chose Canniborange again. "YOU CAN DO IT! COME ON LET'S GO WEIRD ORANGE THING!"
Her abrupt yelling startled the other nyan cats, but cannibaorange, either crazy or deaf, raced on obliviously to take first place.
She whooped again. These games were SO MUCH FUN.

Upon being led to the nyancat tank, Laiha's eyes grew wide. Look at these glorious creatures, bloody and sweet, perfect for a snack, perfect for any meal--! The devourer ghoul leaned down, inhaling deeply, and opened her sharp, gaping maw wide, completely intent to catch a delicious morsel. One in particular seemed ahead of the others, orange and tasty...

In her excitement, she almost missed the wicked gleam in Laiha's eye- or how she leaned over the track and started sniffing the terrified contestants.
"You DEFINITELY don't eat the nyan-cats, or it will mess up the game for everyone else and they might be sad. Plus, you can win one later. With the candy? Those you can eat." Cady blinked at her. She wasn't sure reason would work this time, and she was eyeing the Cannibaorange.
"Oh, nonononono pleeeease no? I like that one he is my favorite and he also just won me some candy so why don't we bet on one and then go play the fishing game because I think you can definitely eat those?" She reached out to touch Laiha's shoulder, pleading.

Laiha could taste the nyancats in the air, her tongue roiling out to try and snatch one of the horrified morsels. A hand on her shoulder shook her back to reality, and Cady honestly seemed to be begging for the lives of these tasty little bastards. Although her stomach was rumbling and her teeth itching, she drew back with a disappointed whine. Maybe she would win one of their compatriots.
Perhaps she would win a tasty snack for herself.
She drew back, watching the nyancats run perhaps even faster, and chose the sweet, buttery yellow cat that looked rather frightened. Butter-tan, yes... except as they rounded the bend a second time, she was still apparently leaning too close, and her contestant sped tenfold and may or may not have wee'd on itself.
"HAH!" Laiha yelped, raising both hands in a display of success. Candy!

Cady looked a little relieved. "Yay! Candy! You can win some more if you manage to catch fish with this net." She grabbed one, and inspected it. "Although it's kind of flimsy, I think it's made of paper or something. No idea why they would make a net out of that but whatever."
Without further ado, she dunked her arm in the tank. This time, she tried to be a bit more stealthy. It made no difference... the fish avoided her the same as before.

Fish? Were these the fish Laiha was possibly allowed to eat? She peered down into the tank and grabbed a flimsy net watching Cady finish her failed swipe before attempting it herself. Apparently the water had weakened the net, as it burst open and became about as useful as a piece of tissue paper.
"Damn."

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?
Cady was slightly comforted by the fact that Laiha didn't seem to have any luck with the fishing game either.
She moved along to the next game at the booth, trying to puzzle out how to explain it. "It's like...This game, you have a mallet and you have to hit the bunnies, only. I didn't hit a single one and I won a candy? I don't think they're REAL bunnies," she added, but glancing at the fearful expression of one, she had to admit she wasn't too sure. Not that it mattered. Bunnies were delicious.
She grabbed her own mallet, and waited for the first bunny to pop. She hit it, but missed...every single one thereafter.
A candy was handed to her anyway. "See what I mean?"

Oho, this! This Laiha could get into! She had eaten her fair share of lapine creatures in her life, and they all seemed to have the same dull prey-look in their eyes. She heaved the mallet up high and, having not noticed their bunny-eared host, tried to hit them all.
In the end, she had missed all but one, and she seemed somewhat put off by it... but what was this? She was handed a candy anyway, and a blue one at that. She offered it out to Cady, eying the one the manticore had just won.
"Trade you."

Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!
Blue! That was the missing color! She offered her own candy happily, pocketing the one Laiha had won. She'd have to return to the cafeteria soon, to complete her creation - but first, there was at least one more game to try.
"OK OK OK THIS NEXT ONE, IT'S LOTS OF FUN. It's like, you take um," she grabbed one and held it up, "A sheet of paper, and fold it into..." she started folding haphazardly, "a table..." Squinting, she made a few tears, and a corner or two more for good measure.
"SEE?" She held up her sad, lopsided and vaguely rectangular object. "You have to make a TABLE. And then, you, you know. Flip it."
She demonstrated by setting her little monstrosity down, and gave it a good flick. It tumbled over eight times.

Laiha watched Cady's folding carefully until it became entirely apparently that she had no idea what she was doing. Pocketing the second candy, she folded in corners and tore out the legs, making something rather bottom-heavy for a paper object. She reached down and flipped it up with both hands and only succeeded in knocking it over.
"DAMN."
She had been doing so well too! Two candies was good, though. It was certainly better than none or one. Where were the giant swords, though?
"What do I do with these?"

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME Cady watched as Laiha managed to make a very grabbity-friendly table. Huh. Well, someone had to be worse at this than Cady. "The candies give you spins at the wheel! It's like, the best game, because you can't loose!" She pointed it out - it was front and center of the booth, and each segment had it's own prize designation. Fortunately, it used pictures instead of words, so Cady had no problem figuring it out. She turned in one of her two remaining candies (she was keeping the blue one!) and gave it a good whirl. She wasn't aware of the sign above the faerie cakes directly under the wheel that said you could buy them for two candies. That was entirely too much reading. The wheel ticked away merrily, and Cady waited impatiently to claim her prize. It landed on...A Nyan-cat! And this time, in blueberry. She grabbed it, but then turned longingly in the direction of the cafeteria. "Hey, you should go ahead and get your prizes, I'm gonna run back and finish that SECRET PROJECT." She shouted the last. In excitement. Yep. Secret indeed. ((My minis username is Ravvlet. ALSO UH I think yesterday I won a chocolate Nyancat but didn't get it OTL sorrrryyyyyy XD))
