"I told you I wasn't going to let you overwork yourself. Don't you think this story sounds somewhat familiar?" Haruki bit the inside of his jaw, but spoke again since it was important for her to hear this. "A Reaper that fought for Yuran rose through the ranks quickly. She was very zealous and diligent when it came to her work. Her diligence caused her to neglect her own safety, and she eventually lost what was most important to her because of her willingness to strive forward, no matter the consequence." Haruki looked at the sky, he was unsure why she was so eager to kill again...if it came down to it he'd order her to rest. "You can't push your limits...it's too risky. I'll be cold in my grave before I allow you to under my orders."

Maria Shadownight//Vampire//Sage Maria look over to Aruil, who approach to her with a greeting and give his info to her. He didn't anything beside his class. Possibly because he's just a human. She could sense there's nothing special about him. "I see. Here's your book then. Look through the guideline and the blueprints to help you. As the same as the others, do all the E to D ranked skills." He told him. She took then note that he's a Mechanist. Captain Pix was actually is looking for any Mechanist so one day he will be sent to her way soon.
She than turn her attention to the last two student that have finished their work. When there is nothing to learn left, a challenge must be put appon them. "Okay Cassie and Joseph.... Since you are finished learning all that you can, I believe it's time for the test for your rank up.... Now normally the test is to fight each other to win the rank, but this would very much be unfair for the cleric.... " She said calmly to them. She made no joke nor body language to insult the woman. Knowing that she will try to find anything to hate the shadow knight even more. "Instead, we will work on your teamwork. I would want the two of you to accomplish something together." She simply said to them. An easy test to understand.
"To test your teamwork, I will give you guys a mission. Your job is to assist a cargo that will be shipped out from 'Vein town' here in Yuran to 'Dathan Town' by the Great Ocean. If you are able to guard the goods greatly from any bandits or monster, Pronta will able to get a good enough profit from this." She told them.

"It's Cassandra." She said sternly. It was true that Cassandra was not well versed in battle, and had almost no offensive capabilities. She had focused on her Clerical abilities from the moment she chose the profession. She knew what she what she had gotten herself into. It was a life of support and staying in the background until someone needed help. Those were her duties, and she would not falter from them. Upon being told the parameters of the mission, Cassie gathered her things and approached the Reaper. "There's something I should tell you. My abilities as a Cleric are more potent than others. I can heal severe wounds that another Cleric of my rank can't even hope to heal. I hope I don't have to use those abilities in this mission, but I am always ready." The girl easily accepted the mission because it let her leave the city, something her mother never let her do.

It surprised her how cooperative the man was, though it was somewhat expected from a Reaper. They tended to be kind and reliable, though it still set her off. Any other warrior in Pronta would have jumped at the chance to lead a mission, especially one that decided if they ranked up or not. "I do not betray my comrades, you have nothing to worry about. Let's go." After flashing Joseph a smile, she set off from the training grounds.

Aruil took the books from the vampiress. Though he wasn't fond of learning everything from a book it did mean that he could conduct the work at his own pace. And considering how fast the cleric and other had performed, he was nowhere near the same level as the others. With another bow the teen took his leave from the instructor, "Thank you, Ma'am. I don't promise greatness but I will do my best."
Tomes in hand the male made his way back to the boulder that he had occupied previously. Once seated he began to read through the lessons that the pages held. The first of which spoke of magnetizing. The concept was simple enough, adjust polarity of ferro based materials in order to create attraction or repulsion. The application however was something foreign to Aruil. After several failed attempts the teen finally managed to get his screwdriver to stick to the clasp of the book. While that task fascinated him, it was nothing compared to the astonishment from being able to float the tool around himself by repelling it evenly from the iron in his own blood.

Aruil was pleasantly surprised with how readily he had made progress within his chosen profession. Though not easy he had somehow imagined it being a grueling process that would take him weeks on end to even conceptually grasp. As it was though he was already into the second lesson of the texts, Tool Tinkering: Scope. The idea was again easy enough for the teen to understand. Metals within some sort of head mounted object would be manipulated in order to bend the glass centered in it to give the wearer increased range of sight. Fortunately the young male had a pair of goggles resting upon his own head. Being the perfect tool for practice, Aruil set to work shaping the glass just as the books described.

The task of manipulating the glass of the goggles to act in a telescoping manner was not easy at all. Much to the teen's dismay, more often than not the metal of the goggles would distort and bulge causing the glass to unseat or come dangerously close to shattering. The only thing that saved him from destroying the material was the fact that he worked so slow and meticulously. Not over compensating for errors helped as well, though it didn't make a great deal of difference. Aruil couldn't help but sigh a little bit as he continued to work the metal through a series of repulsion and attractions at a near microscopic level. The greatest achievement that he was getting from the training was the confidence and ability with working his newly developed magnetizing skill.

The distorting of the goggles was lessening with each passing attempt. Though tricky, the teen was slowly getting a hang of the procedure for manipulating the magnetic fields. All that he needed to get a hold of was exactly how to shape the glass within the goggles to create the proper effect. Unfortunately even though the male knew what a scope should look like when completed, getting it to that point was entirely foreign to him. Thus the young man was stuck in a loop of working the materials over, inspecting his work, finding flaws, and adjusting. It was slightly disappointing to him that such a menial task for a Mechanist was so difficult, but his steady progress was also somewhat encouraging. From his perspective there was still light at the end of the tunnel and he was nowhere near giving up.

Despite several setbacks and an unfairly steep learning curve, Aruil managed to make the half-scoped goggles. While they only magnified the optical distance by about four fold, it was a considerable improvement. To him the fact that he was even able to magnify anything was pretty incredible. When he had signed up to be a Mechanist doing something of the sort had not even crossed his mind. And yet it was a basic task that he now felt comfortable in accomplishing. The left eye was the only one magnified but that was actually what the teen was hoping for. Unfortunately since his skill was still low he was unable to make it an adjustable feature. However he had no doubt that he would be at the level to change that in the near future.
