"It's alright," N told Emi while kneeling down to be eye level with Dali. He wasn't paying too much attention to her, anyway. He was more concerned with her pokemon.
"Well? Would you agree with your trainer on that?" N asked the Oshawott. "She's giving you a lot of credit for the victory." He also looked at Da Vinci. "And you, my friend, would you say that it was all Dali's doing as well?"
He was curious to see what kind of light the answers the pokemon provided would shine on Eunmi's personality as a pokemon trainer.

Dave turned to his companion as the girl left the gym. "Guess it's our turn next." He hailed the waiter that had been serving him. "Check please. Oh, and I also need to challenge someone for the Trio Badge."

And so, with the Purrloin fleeing, now was Henrietta's chance at escape. She quickly retrieved her Pokeball and returned Socant. Then she turned and ran off in the other direction. After all, the last time a wild Pokemon ran away with her it came back with its entire pack.
So, Henrietta would attempt to put some distance between herself and the area and as she rounded the corner of a strangely familiar looking building she'd look back to make sure the Purrloin was still nowhere in sight.
And as she'd turn her head back she'd only have time to say, "watch-
before proceeding to crash into Eunmi, lest the girl be observant enough to notice and dodge, then it'd be N.

[I-I...] Dali looked embarassed. [She was very good at predicting Pansage's movements.]
[She's not motivated,] Da Vinci interupted. [Not for Pokémon battling, anyway. Dali did well - she knows a lot about fighting, so she was able to incorporate that in training, but Dali was the only one to fight in the match. He did well.]
[That's right,] Dali said, nodding. [But I still would have been in tight situation without her help.]
[My only complaint is she pretends like she's not interested in Pokémon,] Da Vinci said. [That, and she won't stop calling me Da Vinci.]
[B-but that's your name, isn't it?] Dali asked.
[It's D-Vee,] the Smeargle grumbled. [And until she starts acting like a Pokémon trainer, I don't have any reason to help her. Ridiculous, running away from wild Patrat...]
[That happened once-] Dali said. [And in her defense, I didn't know what I was doing either.]
Eunmi looked confused. Her two pokemon were bickering amongst one another.
"Can... you understand the-Wahh!"
Eunmi wobbled backwards, stumbling, but then stretched her arm out to catch the girl so she wouldn't fall either.
"...watch it," Eunmi said, but smiled. "You okay?"

And Cress arrived at David's table as per request. In his hand he held the receipt for the meal. He'd offer it to David with a smile.
"Why hello there. So you wish to challenge the gym? Might I ask what Pokemon you wish to use during your match?"

N scratched the back of his head while getting into a crosslegged position on the ground. The two pokemon were a couple of characters, alright. But he was getting to know a lot about Eunmi through what they had to say. It sounded like she was trying to be something other than a pokemon trainer. And although she was a good battler, she had yet to earn the respect of Da Vinci.
"D-Vee is your preference? Very well then, my name is N. It's nice to meet the two of you," he told Dali and D-Vee with a smile. Even if he was unsure about how he felt towards Eunmi, her two pokemon seemed like fun. Maybe in the future, he would be able to play with the two of them. In a perfect world...just you wait.
"A pokemon and a trainer are supposed to learn together. If one of them doesn't know what to do, it's the job of the other one to pick up the slack. So the two of you will hopefully continue to make progress towards mastery." He paused, rubbing his chin.
"I have to ask you both, though. How do you feel about those?" he asked them while pointing to their respective pokeballs. He hadn't gotten to talk to such outspoken pokemon in a while, and they would probably have a lot to tell him.
But then Henrietta burst onto the scene. N flashed his eyes up at the other trainer briefly. "Hello, Henrietta," he muttered in the awkward, quiet and shy tone that was reserved for humans.

"S-s-sorry!" Henrietta said, her face red with embarrassment as she stared at the ground. She'd tensed up and took a step backward.
"I-i-i w-was, th-there was a Purrloin, a-and I was r-running away from it," she said, her right hand raising to be about level with her solar plexus and she pointed in the direction that she had come, her head turning to look that way as well, for the Purrloin.
Then she looked back toward Eunmi. Luckily she was a few inches shorter than the girl so she could look straight ahead without making eye contact. "S-sorry."
"H-hi," she added a second later.
((Edit: Research shows Henrietta doesn't know N's name, =D))

[I don't mind not having to walk, but Emi normally keeps us out unless it's necessary for us to be in them.] D-Vee didn't seem fazed by Henrietta's abrupt appearance.
[She hasn't really used them a whole lot--] Dali said.
[That's because she probably can't aim.] D-Vee snickered.
"It's okay," Eunmi said, looking around. "I don't see a Purrloin."

((I've been writing this for like a day and a half. Damn distractions being distracting gonk ))
The gap in the floor traversed and the way ahead blocked off by Salieri and Salem. Wayne's adrenaline kicked in when he spotted the red orb of Hidden Power being launched. Every split second counted, lest Petilil be blasted at this range. The trainer span on the spot, turning his gasp of surprise into a command as he arms spread apart.
"Jump!" he shouted, Petilil looking at him with surprise but her body moving automatically. She collided with Wayne's chest, knocking him off his feet and into the gap in the floor. The trainer managed to wrap his arms around the grass type before they hit the ground with an oof.
"You okay?" Wayne asked the pokémon, peering down as she peered up. Petilil nodded and Wayne smiled. Alright. Let's do this.
The floor below was cast in shadow where the sunlight couldn't reach. It wasn't pitch black; there was reflected light, but not enough to activate Chlorophyll. Petilil's speed was significantly slower as she followed her trainer through a waist-high gap in the next wall.
If Salieri hadn't moved, she'd be able to spy Wayne dashing across an overgrown quad. There were large glass tubes, reinforced with steel skeletons and about the width of a train car jutting out of the ground, curving around and tunneling back down. Some were broken, smashed in some kind of blast. The quad was split into quarters, the glass tubes around the edges, a cross-shaped concrete walkway separating the segments. The segments themselves were patches of grass, which had long since grown into small jungles.
As they ran past the grass, Wayne glanced down at Petilil. He could've sworn that the blades of grass were moving towards her as she swept by. Once they reached the midway section of the squad, the two darted to the right, ducking out of sight behind one of the blocks of tall grass. The blades were easily taller than Wayne, but just to be sure he kept his body low as he ran.
"Okay, Petilil," he said quickly. They were approaching a closed doorway. A glass tube ran over the top of it created a huge canopy over the door. "Try it now!" He twisted his foot, stopping running and changing direction as he flew backward, looking back the way he'd run, the way Salieri would be running from if she'd decided to follow him step for step, "Magical Leaf!"
Petilil's leaves began to glow and she flicked her head forward. However, once the leaves left her head (immediately being replaced by fresh new leaves) she'd lose control of them. The technique wasn't something she'd practiced yet, but Wayne hoped that if Salieri was about to break out of cover or was running up behind them, then his calling out an attack and Petilil complying would break her rhythm.
Wayne kicked back and booted open the door now behind him, making to push through and run down the next long and empty corridor. This was assuming that Salieri hadn't made a move that would stop Petilil and him in their tracks.

Goliath shook his glass, causing the ice inside to rattle, as Dave smiled to Cress. "I promised my Cubchoo the spotlight for my first Unova gym battle, so I will be using him, if that is alright. Oh, and I'd like to pay for my meal even should I win."

"That is what I like to hear!" Chili announced; singing and songing as he made his way up to the great big hunk of manliness that was David. "Yow! You are flaming! Meet me, Chili! I'm the fiery-hot Fire type Gym Leader of Striaton Gym!"
He bowed theatrically and gestured to the now empty arena. It was behind a large glass wall, which was as long as the restaurant itself. A battle to go with your meal, monsieur? Chili grinned as he looked back up, span and snapped his fingers. Somewhere in the restaurant there was a dull splat as a woman fainted into her pudding.
"Let us begin!" The doors to the arena cranked open mechanically and Chili skipped inside, fuelled by a burning passion that rivalled even David's manliness.
'[Battlers take your positions]' said the loudspeaker's monotone drone.

Purrloin would continue to wander off heading towards the pokemon center it would continue to the center before plopping down on its belly in front of the center. Its mind would start to race in ways to get back at the trainer and the Litwick but for now it need to be recovered and at the moment it had no trainer it would be kind of hard to try and get some recovery.

Dave nodded politely to Cress as he followed Chili to the Arena. He chuckled good-naturedly as he took his position. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were flirting with me. In any case, I like your fiery confidence. Cicero, let's give this guy a fabulous match!" The small polar cub pokemon emerged onto the arena field.
Goliath got up from his seat and headed outside. He spotted the girl from before and approached her Oshawott. [You did pretty good back there despite the type disadvantage.]
