he smiled "they are called custom robos. little robots that you can control up to 30 feet with your own brain waves" he smiled "they have been used in law enforcement, medical, and criminal careers back where i come from" he laughed

He smiled. "we have somethig similar, and so do the bounty hunters but it's a little more...complex." he said.

he put the cubes up on the shelves with the robots on them. the robot with the gem body had the name 'carat' and the red haired one had the name 'ray' "yeah. but these things can also be used for sport. you saw what i was doing, i was battling in a holoseum, the battle field of custom robot" he looked at the one lena was looking at "actually the name for that one is Seal Kid, because of its looks" it looked like a seal. brown face, large eyes, and whiskers

He smiled and put his hands behind his head. "well, anyways after being dead for a couple days I need some rest." he said with a radiant smile and a small yawn.

he smiled "feel free to use the guest bed. down the hall, right next to the kitchen" he looked at lena "thats how they get into the holoseums. you take them out of the case, the turn into cubes, you put them into the holoseum and then, they get launched out of cannons into the field, they turn BACK into robots, and you fight. first robot to lose all health loses." he smiled

He heard all the talk about the holoseum and his eyes lit up. "ooh, can I try?" he begged in a childish tone.

he held out 3 cubes "sure. i'll start you out with easy to use ones. do you want the Ray Mk.2, a shining fighter.has stable attack and defense. the glaive, a striker vanisher which is able to disappear and reappear within air dashes. or the Pipit, a little sprinter. name says it all, small robo with fast speed. you will have the basic gun, bomb, legs, and gun"

((it is. custom robo arena. i thought since Nikolai likes modern tech, this would be cool to have))
he handed over one of the cubes "all right, you have a choice. fight me, or a computer." he snapped as he remembered something "oh yeah! before you do anything, you must open the robo by touching the red spot on the cube, tapping its back, then look in its eyes."

((yay, I love that game biggrin ))
he smirked and tapped the spot and it opened, revealing the robo. He then tapped it's back and then looked into it's eyes, feeling like a part of him was being pulled into it.

the robot connected with him, feeling a part of him. the robot reverted back to a cube, knowing who its master was "now. me or a computer as an opponent?"
