My name is Sarah, I'm 17 and I live in Sussex, a county of England.
On Gaia, I mostly stay in my guilds, but I sometimes venture to AT (where I used to hang out full time) or Barton Town roleplaying area.
I am a full time student, studying Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and French at Brighton College VI Form. To help my parents out with bills I work part time at McDonald's, which is horribly soul draining, monotonous work.
I like drawing, although recently I've fallen into an art block due to heavy self-criticism. Nothing looks as good as it used to. I like gardening, but I have a very short attention span so I can only really look after two or three plants at a time otherwise I forget about them and they die. I like watching Scrubs, Numbers, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, My Family and lots of other comedy shows.
My favourite author is Terry Pratchett, may he live forever. My favourite singer/songwriter is Regina Spektor. My favourite animals are dogs, cats and rats.
My random fact will have to be that I like warm cloudy days more than snow or Spanish-type sun. Hi! Woah; that's so cool!! A person from England! Do you by any chance have an accent, as if so, message me because I have a really stupid question to ask you? ^^;;; Did you skip a grade or something? That seems awfully young to be at college, but that's awesome! I'm sure your art is amazing no matter what you say- never let your own self-esteem keep you from drawing. Even though my art is a bunch of horrible stick figures, I still love drawing anyway. blaugh Terry Pratchet it awesome, and I have a friend who's a major fan of Regina Spektor- he actually introduced me to a song called Oedipus Rex or something, which wasn't bad at all! I didn't skip a grade - it's differently named in England to America (I may have to start using abbreviations ._.; ). In America you have high school then college, but in England we have senior school then sixth form/college then university. I would be in the Junior year if I lived in America. Our college is your junior and senior years, and our university is your college. My school is just called Brighton College for purely superficial reasons.

No problem! I hope you enjoy it here! That's interesting on how the schools work so differently depending on the country.
To Yotam: we have another Canadian, but that's awesome you grew up in Israel! I've always wanted to learn how to snowboard; it sounds like fun. Welcome! ^^

My name is Melissa but people call me Missa. I'm 19 year old college student and i'm from Missouri.
Gaian life: When it comes to my life on Gaia i'v been a member for a long time but I just recently started getting on again after a break for almost 2 years. You can usally find me in the ED.
Career: I currently work two jobs i'm a childrens martial arts sensie and I work at Eddie Bauer
Hobbies/Interests - I'v been in a martial arts form called shotokan for 13 years.

Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking? ^^;; Well shotokan is actully a jappense form and it is mostly known for it's kata's. We have lots of kata's such as the taiyoko's and the hayinans. What type of martial arts do you do? As for location i'll just say I live in the western portion of Missouri lol.
