OOC: Okay, I'm done with school for a month now. So I can catch up and post.

Soul sucking villains. Great. What the hell did I sign up for? Not that this was any different than the time I had to chase down a telepath in the city. I really wasn't concerned about that mission. Getting my soul sucked out slightly concerns me. Well, actually, I don't believe that anybody's soul can be sucked out of them unless it's by God alone. So we're not going to have a problem here.

"Gen, Alanna, I want both of you to stay here with Xavier until the medics arrive," he told the girls. The logic made sense to him. Gen seemed like she wasn't in control of her abilities that much yet. Alanna seemed pretty young and he could immediately tell she didn't have her eyesight.

"Penny, Regina, come with me," He got up from Xavier after checking a few vitals himself. He believe in God and he believed that only God could steal souls. No being on Earth was of God. There was some other explaination for Xavier's condition. Otherwise, he'd be dead. A person with no soul is a dead person.

"Breif explaination of your powers please," He said going into tactical mode. He heard them speak and took the information into his head. He took his sunglasses off finally and walked out of the door with the two girls in tow. She saw them both try to get a look at his face and he took a pace ahead of them, "Don't look me in the eyes... ever."

"What do you do?" One of them asked.

"Just don't make eye contact," He ended the conversation right there.

What do I tell them? I've caused people to jump off bridges literally? How do I justify that. I can't. It's who I am. Or was it who they made me to be? I don't know. It's none of these kids' business. If they follow the rules. They won't get hurt.



They followed Jonothan Porter back down the melting snowy corridor. Clean up was going to have a field day with that. Penny hoped that the Institute janitors got paid well. She also didn't like taking a back burner at the moment. The studnets had such free reign in situations since the X-Men were always busy... now this guy was around and actually taking charge.

If he were smart, he'd have Regina navigate us through shadows. Unless this guy was rooted in two 'realms' then they'd be given the element of surprise. Before Penny could open her mouth, he already gave the command.

"Wraith, take us into the shadows. We will stay there until we have the advantage," He said.

Freya remained silent as the teacher talked to his students. When he left, she grinned. "Only a fool can believe he can be defeated," she muttered under her breath. She looked at the girls who were left behind and she could see fear in their eyes. Her gaze then turned to the professor, back to the girls, the professor, the girls...

"ARGH!!! To be so righteous is going to kill me I swear!"

She stormed out of the room, leaving the girls alone with the professor and went straigth toward the hall. However, she stumbled over the body of Jubilee. "Oh my god... He's on a killing spree. They're all rushing to their death!"

Meanwhile, in the hall, Wanda finally had some control over the whole situation. By control, it means she was still standing and protected everyone from that crazy man in front of her. And he wasn't pleased by this.

"Quit while you can Witch," he hissed at her.

"I'm not stupid enough to believe you," she snapped at him. Here I am in the x-men mansion there's not ONE who is willing to help me. Don't they care about their own kind?!

Jamie stood still for far too long, not knowing what to do. Then a thought struck him. He closed his eyes and focused. He hit the button on a radio that was behind him. The radio turned on, and he focused all his energy into changing the wavelength of the light flowing into the room. If I can just change the frequency enough, I should be able to make the radio turn it into sound. . .

"Did you really think you could defeat me this way?" To anyone who didn't know what was going on, it would sound like Xavier was speaking over the radio. "I don't appreciate when you come to my school and cause trouble with my students. I must ask you to leave, or I shall have to take action."

A bead of sweat gathered on Jamie's temple. This was taking way too much out of him. His hand twitched slightly, and the lights started to flicker.

OOC: Sorry if that wasn't that clear. If anyone needs me to clarify what just happened, I can explain it.

Regina watched from the wall for a moment while everythign went on. She knew that Wanda could cancel out powers very well. She'd seen her do it a couple times at school to people that were pissing her off, such as pietro.

For the moment though, she'd help those that were down from fighting. She'd rather have helped distract the figure but she got the look from Penny that said to take care of those downed already. She noticed Jubilee and Jamie down on the ground and proceeded to move them through the shadows to the office that professor Xavier was in as well. "Just look after these two for now kay girls?"

Once agian she moved through the shadows and caem out next to the teacher. "So, what else teach?" she looked up at his face but out of habit, looked at his nose and not his eyes. Forgetting the warning, but it didn't matter since she was looking at his nose.

"Not if I don't take you down first," Penny growled and put a well placed crack to the back of the villains head as he was weakened. Her fighting philosophy had always been to defend rather than to actively seek the injury of others. Not today. She was going to be ruthless today.



THis is going to get bloody if these kids keep going at him. They're strong. Couldn't imagine that kids this age had so much power. Power but carlessness. They still need to learn.

Porter grabbed something out of his pocket and grabbed the hands of their villain. He put his boot between the shoulder blades of the man and pressed him down to the ground. Porter didn't expect this to be easy. If it were easy, the guy woudln't have taken down Charles Xaiver - the fastest draw on the planet. He bound the man.

"You've all kinds of tricks," Penny said to him.

"I'm Batman," He said in such a dry voice that it garnered a chuckle. He looked at Freya, "I'm sure we've only temporarily restrained this man. Do you know him? He seems to be your anti-self."

((To Cloud: Actually, the supposed 'person' trying to kill the B-Hood is Katori. I've already PM'ed you back about him; he's a mutant hunter...so of course he doesn't really like mutants. He travels with Raine; they have a deal worked out, but that doesn't involve any of the other mutants that come into play. Does that clear anything up for you?))

Jacen woke up from a dark sleep. There was no dreaming. It was complete nothingness. When he awoke, he looked around warily, mainly due to the bandages around his face. He couldn't see much with the wrappings barely allowing him to see much. Apparently, he wound up with a few nasty cuts and a broken nose, all which would heal in time. As he rolled over, he felt something burn in his shoulder which made him hit his back hard when he fell backwards. What he didn't know was that his shoulder was dislocated in the scuffle. He sat up gingerly, and looked over his body for any other wounds. Nothing more than a few bruises where that big brute had wrapped him up at the ankle. For whatever reason, while he sat there, he felt as if he was being watched.

Slowly, he turn himself around in bed and looked straight at an older gentleman. He wore a heavy shirt, mainly due to the weather, and had a thick beard grown over time. Also, he stood like a mountain over Jacen. The young mutant estimated him to be close to 6'7". Then the man spoke in his native tongue, confusing Jacen to no end.

Carefully, Jacen pulled the bandages away from his mouth to speak. ".....I can't understand what you're saying...," he said through gritted teeth. The man stopped for a second, then continued to speak in Russian. He looked to be getting irritated with this lack of understanding. Unfortunately, it didn't look to be getting any better with Jacen's expression of confusion.

While the two were bickering back and forth, both becoming a tad frustrated with the other and barely audible, "Excuse me. Excuse me!" was becoming more distinct and forceful. Out of the blue, seemingly, a young woman in her early twenties appeared from behind the behemoth of a man. She had dark hair and dark eyes that were concealed by glasses. She had a look of intelligence which she wore proudly. Close behind her was a young boy, no more than eleven. He too had dark hair and dark eyes. The closer that Jacen looked at the three, he knew they had to be family.

"Forgive my father," the young woman said as she smiled a warming smile, "He has never had the patience to learn English. He said he was glad to see you are awake. You've been sleeping for two days."

"....That's it?," Jacen replied quietly, "It felt like forever....."

"Your weak still," the woman replied as she pushed her father and little brother out of the room. "Get some rest while I fix supper." Carefully, she closed the door behind her as she exited. Jacen was somewhat perplexed. This family just out of the blue takes in an injured mutant?
Were they so out of touch with the world that they hadn't heard of the so-called mutant epidemic? While he pondered that, he felt odd. Sick, almost. His head started to swim and he felt nauseous, then weak.

He laid back down hard on his injured shoulder, but he didn't yelp in pain. The pain he was feeling in his stomach, in his mind was too great to ignore. There was something he needed, something he craved. And as much as he tried to figure out what this deep-rooted hunger came from, he passed out cold.
