[Icepaw looked very nervous and followed after Galespirit. She didn't know how to word it so she would just say it.]
"Well at the gathering when we were fighting the infected... I was bitten.... I wanted to- I wanted to know if someone could- could kill me before I become fully infected. I don't want to attack my own clanmates."
[Icepaw said quietly and pitifully. She looked down feeling sad.]

He dipped his head to Galespirit as the deputy left, and mewed a greeting to Maplekit. The white tom waited until all were out of earshot before bending down and nudging the rabbit over to Rosewind.]
“Take it; I'm not hungry anyway...And speaking of apprentices, I'd gladly take any one of them. All the kits will make fine BreezeClan warriors, in my opinion.”
[Owltalon had to strain to suppress a hiss. Not all the apprentices. Nonetheless, he let out a sigh before averting his gaze to the lightening sky of dawn.]
(( I honestly think Owltalon would be happy to get any apprentice, lol. Lately, he's had barely anything to do besides hunt and flirt and chat. > . < ))

He followed the little calico she-kit around camp until they arrived in the elders' den, where Redpoppy emerged and began telling Maplekit a tale. Cloverkit glanced back at the nursery, knowing that he left sleeping Spadekit alone with Dicekit and the kittypet. His spine tingled nervously, but he refused to feel guilt. He padded up to Maplekit and sat beside her, letting himself be submerged in Redpoppy's stories.]
(( @Gray- Well, everyone got back from the Gathering, it's somewhat morningtime right now, your kits are following Cloverkit and Maplekit, who just went into the elders' den to listen to stories, Owltalon's chatting/flirting with Rosewind, Wavepelt's...around, Galespirit's talking with Icepaw, Breezekit wants to leave the Clan to get a mentor, aaand, Dicekit is asking all the nursery queens what to name her new kittypet friend...Yep, I believe that's it. Pardon anything I forgot. @_@;;
Is it just me, or is BreezeClan going to have to assign each warrior two apprentices for all the kits to get mentors?
Btw, Rosewind should mentor Breezekit...Perhaps. Idk. ))

SweetMoon sat by the nuresery's entrance. She was bored. She wanted to go hunting, or to patrol the borders, to do something anything. She yawned with boredom. She had seen her kits travel to the elders den, listening to their stories.

[Dewburst walked blearily into the clearing.
He shouldn't be out but he need the air anyways.
Yes, he was still infected but he had more of a control on it.
He was clearly still weak but his health was coming back slowly.
He dared not make any contact with any cat though.
The news from the Gathering shocked him.
But he knew that the clans would be willing to put aside their rivalry to come together and defeat them.
It was just a waste that he couldn't come.]
And why in Starclan's name would they want an infected cat to accompany them? You're still too weak anyways. he told himself bitterly.

     ❧  ♨[Galespirit stared at Icepaw. He opened his mouth, closed it, then opened it again. A ripple of shock flowed throught him.]
Finally, he hissed, "Are you out of it, Icepaw?! What makes you think we'd kill you, after knowing that there is a remedy? You just have to hang in there. We'll be traveling for the remedy soon...I promise."
[He shook his head, his eyes troubled.]
"Don't just think I'd give up on you like that. I could never let you be killed, knowing there's a remedy."
[His ears flicked as he heard the ceremonies starting. He blinked down at Icepaw, his eyes not moving, uninterested in unimportant things at the moment.]

[Willowstar scrambled onto the bare tree branches.] The Wind Tree's branches. A small breeze ruffled her pelt and shook the smaller branches. "Will all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Wind Tree for a Clan meeting. Emberpaw, please step forward."
"I, Willowstar, leader of BreezeClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in his turn. Emberpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Emberpaw meowed solemnly, "I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Emberpaw, from this moment you will be known as Embergaze. StarClan honors your loyalty and your strength, and we welcome you as a full warrior of BreezeClan."
The old, BreezeClan leader rested her muzzle on the top of the new warrior's head and the new warrior licked her shoulder in respect. The rest of the Clan chants the young warrior's new name.

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze bowed his head, a purr erupting in his throat. His eyes shifted up to glance at his mentor, Windtail, who blinked proudly at his former apprentice.
Embergaze flicked his tail, remaining silent. He kept silent, remembering he must sit vigil that night.
He looked around and didn't see Galespirit. It almost hurt him that the warrior wasn't there. What do I care about him? he thought ruefully.
Then, from across the clearing, he saw Galespirit look up and blink at him warmly, then look back down to Icepaw, who he was conversing with.
Embergaze looked at his paws again shyly. It was strange to have so many people shouting his new name.
Silently to himself, he thought I like my new name...I hope everyone else likes it too...]
