Reyna analyzed the Red Lantern. "We shall fight, later. " she said, the idea quite pleasing. She shot Doom a glance. "Sounds boring. But very well." she complied, her eyes now finally fading to a hard violet. "But tell Larfleeze to stop sucking away our power." she added, a cold tinge to her voice suggesting refusal would end in physical ailment.

"That is alright by me," Elasa said, and Atrocitus grunted in reply. Captain America said nothing, but instead gave Doctor Doom a curt nod. Despite his status as a villain, Steve knew that Doom was still a gentleman at heart... despite being utterly power-crazy. Elasa motioned to Larfleeze, telling him wordlessly to stop with his power consumption.
((Lets just assume he did so we can GTFO. And Valdemar's coming too, even though Zauv ain't on.))

Tarin glared at the Yellow Lantern. The insult would not be forgotten. She turned to Doom and nodded in agreement. "Yes, that is wise." she said, already floating. "How shall we get there? Flight or..."

Reyna grinned at the obvious anger in Tarin's eyes. She felt the influx of energy and knew she would need to recharge soon. Her Lantern would be sent along...right about...a yellow speck appeared in the sky and barreled towards her. In a short and abrupt motion her lantern stopped and froze in front of her. Not waiting for permission, she began to speak the oath of her core, "In Blackest day. In Brightest night! Beware your fears made into light. Let those who try to stop what's right -- burn like his power -- Sinestro's might!" her voice grew cruel and strong as each word was spoken. The Lantern flashed and her ring blinked, fully charged. She grasped her Lantern in hand and glared, waiting for a response.

Eira rolled her eyes at the Yellow Lantern's exuberance and merely whispered her oath, touching her ring to the glowing tip of her staff. Fully charged, she awaited Doom's response.

Dr, Doom observed the ritual and noted Reyna's power reserves go up expendentially, "Interesting... And yes, you all may come to Castle Doom. We may all fly or teleport. It is your choice."

During the entire fight, Valdemar just stood back. That wasn't like him at all. Any other fight, Valdemar was have thrown the first and last punch. But something was different about Valdemar right now. His body was at earth but it felt like his mind was watching everything occur through somebody else's eyes. He felt the grip of impending doom. He felt hopeless, like nothing he could do nothing at all.
Though he did do a good job to hide this. If anybody would glance over at him. They would simply think that he was analyzing the situation and nothing more. They wouldn't truly understand what he was feeling. For the first time in his life, he felt fear.
Watching the other Lanterns arrive, his normal cocky attitude returned. He began acting like his normal self, when something else caught his attention. Tarin, the Star Sapphire. Something about her, intrigued Valdemar. He couldn't exactly put his finger on it but it did.
Following the Lantern's, he simply stayed in the background and observed everything. He noticed the way everyone spoke and their attitude towards each other. Valdemar saw a few of the problems in the group. Though he saw the problems, he also saw ways that the group could work. Maybe the universe had hope after all.
That's when it happened. Valdemar's mind went blank as his mind was transported to a plane of existence. He stood a foggy field, he was the only being here and the only thing he could see was a small stone basin directly infront of him. He peered into the basin but didn't like what he saw. He saw his sector3297, in ruins. Two of the planets he looked over were completely destroyed. Like as if a giant crushed them, with his bare hands. The third planet and his home was intact but on the surface was a different story. The bodies of hundreds of men, women, and child were scattered across the streets as the buildings burned to the ground. Those who survived, were seen at the capital. Bowing to a woman that Valdemar didn't recognize. That feeling of hope fleeing from him returned as he glanced up to spot a dark shadow figure with dark red glowing eyes.
"What the hell is this!?", Valdemar demanded as his eyes started to tear up a bit. He glared at the beast with pure hatred as the beast started to laugh. Atleast he thought it was a laugh, it was more of a sinister crackle.
The beast grinned wide, showing off a set of dagger like fangs. It answered him with demonic like voice, "This is the future."
Suddenly Valdemar was back in his body. He shook greatly as he felt like everything he fought for was destroyed. He stood for a moment before collapsing to the floor. His mind couldn't handle the images and the thought that was going to be the future of his people. His spirit felt like it was shattered as he placed his hand over his heart and gripped his chest, as if he could take away the pain by ripping his heart out. Unfortunately that wasn't true.

Elasa looked to Valdemar as he came outside, but something seemed... different about him. He looked shaken after a few moments. And then he fell to his knees.
"Valdemar? Valdemar!" Elasa said, concern on her face made obvious. She hurried over to him and gripped his arm, gently getting him to stand while her aura was used to calm him down. "Are you alright? What happened?"
"Oh, I'm sure he's fine..." came a new voice, and Elasa wheeled around, her eyes wide. Before her hovered a large, hulking figure with decomposing skin and odd crystals on his body. On his hand... was a Black Lantern Ring.
"But pretty soon, you won't be!" Doomsday said with a grin, and he fired a powerful blast of black energy at Elasa, who was paralyzed by shock; she couldn't move, it was going to hit her and she was going to be killed--
But Captain America boldly stepped in the line of fire, bracing his shield. The attack bounced off of it and went harmlessly into the sky, and for the second time that night, the Captain shouted: "AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE!!!" He knew that at least Firestar would hear... but would it be enough?
Meanwhile, Atrocitus charged up his ring now that Larfleeze had stopped siphoning his power, and he grinned maliciously. Finally, a challenge! he thought to himself. He launched himself toward Doomsday, his Rage fueling his strength... and he was swatted away. Hard. He flew several dozen meters to the right and crashed headlong into a parked bus.
Elasa, freed from her trance of fear, flew high up into the air and created large energy ropes which she used to constrict Doomsday's movements. This didn't last long, however, as Doomsday quickly got free and blasted Elasa further into the air with his ring.((Alright now guys. I want us all to coordinate our posts. Obviously Doomsday is outnumbered and is going to retreat after a while, as I have plans for him, but that's no guarantee that our heroes won't come out totally unscathed, as my post demonstrates. Even outnumbered like he is, he's going to be able to beat the everloving crap out of everyone if they get too close to him. And yes, that includes Dr. Doom. And, for teh lulz, here's the theme of this battle.))

Staring at the shield on the star man, Larfleeze wanted it. Not even paying attention to the Black Lantern, or the Green Lantern that had appear. He again launched himself at someone,"MINE!" Orange Agent yelled as he tried to tackle Captain America. The way it looked, it's shine gleamed in his eyes. Summoning his legion of Avatars, they along with him attacked Captain America.

Valdemar bowed his head, his hair falling so it covered his face. His mind started to run a thousand miles per second. 'I can't allow that to happen to my planet. I will not, there has to be something I could do.', he thought but he couldn't do anything right now. He had to put a stop to Doomsday first.
Powering up his ring, he formed a fist as he allowed his green lantern powers to form over his hand. Then with as much speed as he could generate, he rushed towards Doomsday. With quick speed as he tossed a huge punch towards the villain. It was a foolish attempt on Valdemar's part but his mind was somewhere else, and he wasn't in the moment. That was going to be his mistake in the end.

Doomsday got hit by Valdemar's attack, having been caught off guard at the surprising movement. He recovered after stumbling back a step or two, and he promptly backhanded the Green Lantern and sent him crashing into Atrocitus as the latter was standing up. This sent both Lanterns hurtling further down the street, and when they landed, Atrocitus growled and pushed Valdemar off of him before standing up.
Steve, however, used his peak reflexes to dodge Larfleeze's lunge, smoothly leaping away. The constructs chased after him, but he simply threw his shield at them, cutting through them before the shield came back to him. He eyed Larfleeze warily, ready for a possible attack.

Eira's mind went blank, all thoughts on the battle. She raised her ring to her lips and spoke in the language of her tribe, "Vahal ri'stic Black ri's." It was a message of help, and warning. Her duties thus cleared, her mind immediately went into war mode. She flew closer to the others, intending to both keep a strong defense and keep Doomsday in check. Doomsday, a Black Lantern! Had she not been focused on the battle, worry would have taken over her mind. She knew this was bad. She sent a small bomb of indigo energy at Doomsday's feet. Upon impact, it would, like Reyna's bullets, detonate.

Tarin sprung into a defensive stance as soon as Doomsday appeared. Her heart thudded as the appearance of a Black Lantern signified the return of Blackest Night. In hand she created a spear with extendable spearhead and chain. With a soft 'click', the spear head shot off the staff, chain extended and clinked to the ground. In a swift twirling motion she flung it at Doomsday, the spear point angled for his eyes.

Reyna immediately felt her sixth sense burn. Her eyes went to Doomsday, and watched with slight trepidation as he began to attack. Elasa shot into the air and she felt an odd sort of niggling in her stomach. Abruptly she flung out a yellow net to catch the lantern. After all, more Lantern's means a more likely chance to survive. he then allowed her ind to hone into the predator state she had grown into since the streets. She ran at the monster called Doomsday, her lips curved into a snarl, and flung a power burst from her fist at his face, working to partner up with the spear head to his eyes from Tarin.

Valdemar flew through the air and landed with a thud ontop of Atrocitus. Before he knew it, he was tossed again, but this time he slammed against the cement instead of a body. He laid there for a moment, just staring at the sky. His mind yelled, screamed, and demanded that his body would stand up and fight but he just continued to lay there. No matter how much willpower he summoned, he just laid on the ground. That's when it happened again, his mind went blank as he entered the planes of existence.
He was sitting in an electric chair, and strapped into it as if he was about to get the chair himself. He struggled against the restraints as the dark figure appeared in front of him once more. Valdemar glared at the figure with pure hatred as his body stopped its struggling. He simply sat there watching the figure for the longest time.
That is when the figure finally spoke. Speaking in his dark demonic voice it said, "There is no hope. You can not win this battle. You will fail and die like the rest. Don't worry though, I'll make sure you are brought back as my minion."
The words echoed through Valdemar's ears as he started to struggle again. "NO! We shall defeat you and whoever you are working with".
The figure grinned, showing off its razor sharp teeth once more, as it waved its hand in the fog. Suddenly the fog shifted and formed the basin infront of Valdemar. Peering over the side, he didn't see his planet, he saw the battle against Doomsday. "Your defeat has already begun", the beast spoke.
Struggling even harder against his restraints as he watched the battle. He had to get out and help his allies. He couldn't allow them to fight by themselves. "Let me free you coward!", Valdemar yelled and demanded to no avail.
