((So Michelle says people think I posted for Evan. Trust me, if he'd let me, I'd LOVE to, but it ain't gonna happen. xd
Reason for delays: Murphey's Law [emergencies with friends and family members are fun! Try them at home, kids! 8D], various client computers needing repair (usually when I've finally convinced him to catch up and post), and waiting for me to get off of my lazy arse and finish the Eden pic after he did catch up. razz Still needs work... *glares at Eden's wings*
Also, Amy, sankyuu for the GMing of Riku and Demyx. It helped a lot!)){Nanaki .:. Train .:. Dining Car}
Nanaki was a little surprised that James and Jenny had decided to spend time in the dining car, rather than grieve with the others. However, they seemed to be enjoying conversation, joking with each other and getting to know each other, perhaps in an attempt to dull the pain of what had happened.
Rather than interrupting them, Nanaki decided to stay where he was and simply listen. Their stories to each other were quite insightful to the world they came from. School, work, family... all seemed to be universal, but they told a great deal about an individual. He thoroughly enjoyed learning about these children, and dearly hoped the others were finding other ways to take their minds off of the recent tragedy.
He wondered, a little sadly, how the other group of children would take the loss... The liger was still lost in thought as James and Jenny went about their ways.{Zell (Yes, poor neglected Zell! He is alive, folks!) .:. Train .:. Lounge Car >> Dining Car}
The situation explained itself rather quickly, although he was still missing a few details here and there. He didn't want to ask anything too prying for now, figuring the wounds were still too raw.
As events unfolded the pseudo-conductor felt more and more out of place. He shared their grief, of course, but he just hadn't known the girl as well as they did, so he didn't take it quite as hard.
By the time he had his head wrapped around everything and the 1,000 piece jigsaw that was the last few minutes began to form a picture, everyone had cleared out of the Lounge Car, going elsewhere to deal with their grief.
Zell felt like an idiot.
"Fine!" he shouted to the empty car. "Don't tell me anything! See if I ever drive you jerks anywhere again!"
He stood there in a huff, arms crossed over his chest and a pouty look on his face. He couldn't hold it long, though.
"Argh. The one chance I get to ask Merlin for help fixing the train, and I miss it. Stupid world mashing, evil villain plotting, heart-stealing... blah! I need a drink..."
He stalked off into the dining car, heading straight for the fridge.{ Riku & Demyx .:. LoD .:. Palace Gates} Riku looked around at the children, especially the new ones, gauging their reaction to the recent fight. This last Heartless had been a real doozy compared to the others he'd fought two years ago.
Not bad, he thought, a proud little smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. They work together great, for newbies. Good at thinking on their toes. Got high hopes for these guys.Demyx was grumbling under his breath about the lack of certain amenities that should always be present when welcoming guests, and added booze to the list since the kids had mentioned tea. (I love you, Amy!) No party is complete without the booze. Or the babes. Or the...
He caught Riku glaring at him out of the corner of his eye, and was seriously tempted to stick his tongue out at the Keyblader. Problem was, Riku'd probably cut it off if he tried, so he just settled for glaring right back. Can't shmooze the ladies without a tongue...

[Nick/Chaos :: Bamboo Thicket]
Nick opened his mouth to speak, but only a gasp of air came out before his head hung limp for a moment. He slowly raised his head, and as he did, his normally blue eyes were instead glowing with a fel green.
"Forgive my host, Mateus. He takes too long to speak for me. Yes, the moments when I was lost in my rage was...beautiful, but the boy has chosen to serve this blue haired man, so I will have to be much more reserved with my power than I can now. As for why I am here, I have two reasons: Freedom and revenge, Mateus. I wanted to be able to escape from that wretched prison and find that demonic angel. Where is she, Mateus? Where. Is. Ultima?" A low voice seethed from Nick, one that was clearly not his own. The boy blinked, his fel green eyes boring a hole in the ice summon.

[ Guado Servants : Narnia : Servants Quarters ]
The three Guado remained glaring accusingly at the younger male, slight scowls upon their faces. However, they slowly released the tension in their bodies, holding their weapons to their sides; they weren't at attention, but they weren't quite at ease yet.
"We know not of the Maester's whereabouts, only that he has made it clear he may not be back for some time," the mage servant spoke, recomposing himself somewhat and taking a step away from Cory. "Perhaps we can be of assistance?"

[Amy ; Cloud ; Beatrix ; Yuffie ; Maggie : Land of Dragons : Palace Gates]
Amy started, and looked over to Leon. For some reason, his quiet and commanding voice had gotten to her more than the rest of the group. Probably because he spoke so rarely unless there was business to get done; yet, he had given them permission for a break. Fun?
"We're going to be able to see more of China...," Amy said, almost questioningly, although she didn't intend it to be answered. "Well, I'm awake." Indeed, she did seem to perk up considerably at the thought. Perhaps it was just the prospect of always having 'the quest' and never having 'fun' that had been weighing on her so heavily. That and almost an entire day of non-stop action she didn't fully comprehend anyway.
Why were they trying to find the King again? She should know this; instead, all she knew was that they were looking.
Why are we stopping? Cloud's questioning glance was directed at Leon. This was why he usually worked alone. It was faster that way. Business could get done, and babysitting cou-
"Lighten up! Geez! I'm in a bad mood and even I'm thrilled about a break." Yuffie cut off Cloud's thoughts; she must have seen his less than thrilled expression. He glared at her. She didn't seem to notice, or care. "You could use some down time, too, you know. You're too uptight all the time. Lighten up! Like me! Heck, I'm gonna explore this entire town. See what interesting trinkets are lying around."
"Yuffie," Beatrix cut in, "You and I are going back to the Red Rose." Yuffie looked like she was about to protest, but the General cut her short with a stern look. "And you will leave that bag of coins you borrowed from the guards."
"It wasn't from the guards, it was-" Beatrix leveled her gaze. "Yes, ma'am."
Cloud was trying his best to keep his expression neutral during all of this. In all honesty, his jaw nearly dropped at Yuffie's 'yes ma'am'. He held an entirely new respect for Beatrix, and he didn't protest as she came and took Maggie from his arms, carrying her with as much ease as he had. "You will watch over the children, Cloud," she said. Ordered? He wasn't about to question it, and even nodded once in acknowledgment. Beatrix, Yuffie, and the still unconscious Maggie were soon on their way out of the courtyard, heading toward the horses.

[Cory .:. Narnia .:. Jadis' Castle .:. Servants' Quarters]
"Won't be back for a while, huh?" Cory thought for a moment, the scenario rolling around in his head. Regardless of whether or not it's Seymour, the Guado is either in league with someone who uses darkness. However, that's not necessarily enough to assume he's against the losers, or to say he's working with the wannabes. He might not even be working with the source of the darkness I'm smelling, it might be residual of Jadis or even be someone who attacked the Guado...
The rogue sighed, shaking the thoughts from his mind before saying, "Perhaps. I have need of machina, and I'm fairly certain Seymour has all kinds of that here with him."

[ Guado Servants : Narnia : Servants Quarters ]
"Machina is strictly prohibited by the teachings of Yevon," the Guado immediately responded, glancing incredulously at the guest. One of the two guards in the back tilted his head slightly, as if wondering why such a question was even asked. "The only Machina allowed by the Grand Maester are the Al Bhed rifles we stock in the old armory, and the observational sphere that the Maester uses to keep in contact with those in Spira."

[ Sora : Forest ]
The Keyblade Master watched Joe out of the corner of his eye, and was definitely impressed. Invisible wind blades? Totally awesome. But there wasn't much time to compliment, as he noticed the two Crimson Jazz Heartless begins to charge up their fire spells in unison.
Charging his Keyblade with Blizzard magic, Sora launched it at a wide angle toward the duo. Before it made it to the mage Heartless, it struck numerous Shadows and Neoshadows, destroying the weaker ones and creating small ice patches on the Neoshadows to slow them down. As it struck the first Crimson Jazz, the full Blizzard effect came into action, flash-freezing the creature (due to the conflicting elements) and destroying it as the Keyblade sliced through it. The Blizzard element now used up, it merely struck the second Crimson Jazz, interrupting the spell before returning to Sora's hand.
The remaining Wight Knights had leapt into the air, both apparently going for Joe, who had taken out their brother-in-arms.

[ Kyle : Training Room ]
Kyle nodded to Jenny before Louis began to speak. As the Ivalician went on, he couldn't help but feel somewhat... annoyed. They'd been fighting together for days now. They knew each others strengths and weaknesses far better than someone who just joined them that day. Jenny was left to defend herself because they knew she could defend herself.
Of course, this could just be his pride talking.
"I'm game," he responded, keeping his face guarded with practiced ease, even smirking somewhat before chuckling, glancing at Ultima, nodding toward her. She immediately shrugged before vanishing into a single speck of light, as if she'd just imploded.
Three people to worry about. Dawn, fans, close range unless she uses her Wind magic. James, long range- no way he's getting up close with a gun. To work together, they'd have to stick together, either making Dawn useless or James a hindrance.
"So, I guess Jenny and I will take that end of the dojo?" Kyle said, motioning toward the far end. It was better to fight with a narrow battlefield than a wide one if you had to stay in one place. Without warning, he picked Jenny up bridal style and began to jog in that direction; he did it mostly because it would be faster that way... but also because he found a girl's reaction to such things amusing as hell.
Louis has a rifle, two knives, and a rapier. He could be entirely long range with use of the portals from the last fight, or he could come close. Coming closer, however, limits his choices- and if he's such a tactician, I doubt he'd do that.

[Joseph: HT: Forest]
The Wight Knights seemed intent on Joseph, but Joseph...oh, he was excited about this.
Jumping into the air, he performed a spinning split kick, spreading his legs and turning in the air, dragging the two enemies into his legs before 'clawing' at the two heartless, the blades of wind coming from his fingers and slashing at the heartless. Five gashes appeared on each heartless' face, or, at least, the general area of a face, and Joe kicked them down into the ground after shifting sideways and shooting his, sadly missing them.
"Tch...thin bastards..."
Landing down on the ground, the fighter resummoned his bo and fired it of, the weapon whistling as it spun through the air, nailing one of the Knights in the head, taking said head off, before the wind caught it and turned it around, arcing back and hitting the other heartless from behind, before arcing again and hitting it from the side.
Summoning his bo back once more, the Wight Knights defeated, Joseph stayed ready. Were there more? Did he need to react to more attack? Were there more things to destroy?

The mage raised a questioning eyebrow before slowly replying. "It's... in the main hall. We can show you there," he explained, slowly walking out of the room. The two guards remained until Cory exited, at which point they follow behind him. "What do you require it for?"

The renegade followed after the Guado, his hands in his pockets as he replied, "I'm looking for someone. That person happens to be the only living thing that might have information on the Replicas. If I can find out what their kryptonite is, I don't have to worry about them anymore."

[ Guado Servants : Narnia : Servants Quarters -> Main Hall ]
It took a few minutes to travel from the Servants' Quarters to the Main Hall, but once arriving, the machina stood out. In front of the throne, the giant crystal sphere stood on its pedestal, inactive and dim. To its side, two tall towers stood, both spaced about a meter from the spherical pedestal, with glowing yellow crystals hovering slightly at the top.
"We do not know how to activate the observational sphere," the mage-guide explained, turning now to look at Cory. "When we have seen Seymour activate it, he only needed to touch it with his hands."

"Huh. No idea how to use it?" The rogue approached the sphere, pulling his hands from his pockets as he took note of the two towers next to it. "And wouldn't you know it, I always got bored of Final Fantasy 10 before anything like this showed up. I guess let's just try what you say you saw that guano- HA! I mean, 'Guado'- did." Cory slowly hovered his left hand over the orb...

[[Mateus: LoD : Bamboo Thicket]]
If Mateus had a mouth in this form, he would be smiling from ear to ear. The red eyes glowed at the mention of her name, "I've found her... and my host is currently by her new host's side. I've already taken action against her, but my Avatar got in the way the last time... speaking of which..."
The esper of corruption learned forward, "Your avatar... interesting... his heart is dark like my avatar's, yet, yours is a different beast entirely. Where mine is calm, collected, and cold, yours is a torrential whirlwind of emotions, unpredictable and uncontrollable. What I wouldn't give to trade places... no matter."
Mateus turned back to Seymour, pleased with this turn of events, "Is there anything else you'd like to fill me in on?"
