I'm trying to stay awake. It's half past midnight over here, and I'm beat. I should be in bed, but I told myself I'd stay up until Mom and Dad come home. *yawn* Keep me awake, ya'll!

Don't you hate it when the best author you've ever found is also the worst? Sure, it was all happy and fine in the last book of the third series, but he totally shouldn't have ended up with Molly; they were both old, hadn't contacted each other for 16 years, she had seven frackin' kids and he was a man-whore. He should have gone with the Fool and Prillkop to the school in the South. If nothing else, he shouldn't have evaporated for a month and made him think he was dead again! Their relationship is completely unfinished! He ended up with the annoying girl with a horrible name only because the guy that raised him and married her died protecting his son. They would have been completely content without him, he could have gone off with my favorite character to be awkward and loving and continue to be the pair of prophet and catalyst, but no. The stupid chick that I had finally rid myself of for the five middle books comes back in the ninth to take away any hope of a decent ending! And he took away the skill prints so they don't even know if the other one is alive, let alone have the capability to communicate! You can't just erase the coolest character of a book because the main one blacks out for a month, and replace him with the childhood lover-chick that I hate! It's against the rules of literature! scream

Think I always have problems with authors :3; Alas, you knew the book was dangerous when you took it; no wonder illiteracy is so popular nowadays...they might replace your favorite male character with a female love interest. Then where would we be? scream
>.>...next book :0

Kizzalea I'm thinking in a land full of books with lesbians confused Well, yes, I suppose that then it would be highly practiced, and encouraged o.o; But, contradicting such, we have a combination of heterosexuals and homosexuals here, and not all of us get squishy inside when the male main characters' male friend evaporates at the end of the book so that the baby-machine girlfriend from 16 years ago can step in and make everything fluffy. Alas >.<

I get where you are coming from. So there was no explanation as to where the main male characters friend went? I abhor plot holes that wide.
I think I am reminded of a recent book I read (Angel Seeker) and what happened was predictable. Everything seemed to work out right for the characters in every instance. What about some bad luck! Yeah, it wasn't that great, in my honest opinion.
