Asato Hiroki
Chairman's Secretary - Ohayou Productions

"Ah good. I am sure if he feels comfortable, he'll give it to you." said Hiroki just before he was asked to sit down. "Alright...maybe I do need a seat. But I'd rather have a clear head. But thank you for offering"

However he wasn't expecting what came out of Koyasu-kun's mouth next. In fact it sincerely surprised and shocked the man. "You want what?" The words from his mouth were calm but held a tone of disbelief. Maybe he would need a drink afterall because Koyasu-kun just said something that completely floored the man.

He blinked for a second, "Are you serious, Koyasu-kun? Or is this a joke of some sort?" Pausing just for a moment, he didn't know what to think of Koyasu-kun right now.

"Of course, I've made a promise but Koyasu-kun. I plan on carrying my promise out. And I was sure it would be humiliating but this is...absurd." He pushed the glasses upon his nose even as he sat down on the sofa. Obviously, he couldn't quite believe what Koyasu-kun said.

K a i - H i g u r i

Kai felt so utterly swept up in his attempts to be a classic gentleman that he would have pulled out Izzy's chair for him if they were indeed sitting in an arrangement in which the chairs were movable.
"Is there a specific time and place to this meeting at the studio tomorrow? I might actually have to wake up sober for once..." Kai joked. He most often was always sober in the morning, since his expensive tastes for wine were refined, meaning that he loved drinking wine, but rarely did he drink a lot.

Kai tucked a large enough amount of money under the edge of one of the plates to cover the dinner, wine, and probably another dinner, but he didn't have any smaller bills. Too bad.
Standing up, Kai put on his coat, smiling at the comment about the bakery and how Izzy seemed to be so bright all of a sudden at the mention of sweets. Kai had a thing for sweets himself, though he liked salty foods more. Still, as long as it wasn't bitter, Kai would like it.

Kai walked over to the door and opened it, holding it open for Izzy to walk through first.
"Well, this bakery is... my favorite in this city. It definitely isn't as expensive as my wine, but let's just say that most people don't have enough money to even enter through the door. But I assure you it's worth the money."

((Sorry for the utterly fail post. My mind just isn't here today.))

((God I'm scared for Kai's tour now...))

Laughing softly, Akihiko lifted a spare wine glass and poured the red liquid carefully. He handed it to Asato, watching the man with a semi-predatory gaze.
"Have you ever known me to joke much, Hiroki-kun?" the musician asked. "You promised to do ONE thing for me... and what I want, is you. One night, no questions asked."
'After all, what a high it would be to know I slept with the chairman's private secretary?' Narcissus thought to himself.
Everything was about conquests to him... about wining and losing... and this time, he had certainly won.
"How is it absurd, Hiroki-kun?" the man asked coyly. "You're gorgeous in those glasses... and I desire gorgeous men. What more do I need to say?"
Smirking darkly, Akihiko uncrossed his leg and stood up. He took a few steps toward Asato before leaning forward and coming within an inch of the other man's face. "Or... perhaps I need to show what I want instead, hmm?" he teased, lips tantalizingly close to Hiroki's own.

Asato Hiroki
Chairman's Secretary - Ohayou Productions

Hiroki took the glass and actually took a drink. A much larger one than he might have taken if anything else had been said. The disbelief flowed over him like a wave. And when Koyasu-kun started to repeat his desire, he took a second drink of the wine. He didn't even know what to say at this point. But it certainly wasn't stopping the sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"One night with me...." he resaid as the whole thing settled upon him. However, this couldn't affect his work...couldn't affect the company...but it sure would put a monkey wrench in Hiroki's life. But isn't that what Koyasu-san always did. Oh he realized just a little too late what One Thing had meant. He had a feeling that this was just another one of those gleeful little victories that Koyasu-kun obssesed over.

With that he sighed slowly even as Koyasu-kun walked forward to bring his lips so close to Hiroki's own. He didn't seem tempted by those lips maybe even a bit cold, "Fine Koyasu-kun. One night...as you won the wager."

Yes, Koyasu-kun might have one night with him. But now that the request was made. He hadn't mention what sort of night with him.

"I'm glad you're seeing things my way..." Akihiko whispered before claiming Hiroki's lips with his own.
At first, the kiss was soft, yet daring. But after a few moments, Narcissus pushed the secretary back against the sofa, deepening their kiss.
"One night..." Akihiko spoke, breaking the kiss. "I promise you, Hiroki-kun.... you won't regret making the wager."

Izzy didn't look at the bills put under the plate. He didn't want to know. The sushi was far less than...the wine. He probably wouldn't ever drink that wine again because even on his salary, he could never afford it. "Ah, well since you've a friend to see tonight, why don't you meet me at 10am. I am sure that will give you plenty of time to sleep and see you friend. Then of course after that, it will be much earlier hours. We've so much to do before we settle on a tour schedule. I'll need to know any obligations you have in the future that might affect when you can perform...beyond birthdays and holidays. That way I can strike them off as possible dates."

As Kai opened the door, he wondered whether Kai was being a gentleman of the moment or if he was like this normally, minus this morning's...events. Smiling as he walked through the door, he didn't forget to say "Thank you." And like Kai, slipped on his own coat to fend off the cool Spring breeze.

"Oh my...you've lavish habits, Kai. And here I was going to offer to pay for these desserts but I'm not sure I'd have enough in my company budget for those sorts of tastes! Next time though, I buy dinner....mmm..and dessert." he said with a finger that just wagged a little. His scolding didn't seem to be too serious or offended...it actually was still playful.

As they got out into the cool night air, Izzy turned this way and that looking for the bakery; finally picking it out a little further down the road. "It really isn't that far is it?" He said as he started to walk with Kai. This seemed really strange because here he was actually just hanging out with his Star. No weirdness, no nothing. Ok...so maybe Kai was on his BEST behavior but this still seems comfortable. For a change, Izzy was relieved. The might get a long fine as Manager and Star. Yes, that would be wonderful in Izzy's book.

He took a little leap ahead as they got closer to the bakery door, making it just before Kai. It was his turn to open the door for a change. "After you." he said with a light smile upon his lips.

Kai chuckled at Izzy's comment about his expensive tastes. It was true that he liked things expensive, though only food wise. Occasionally, he would have expensive decor taste too, if he was entertaining someone, but his apartment was surprisingly normal for an eminent musician with his tastes in food.
The finger wag made Izzy quite... well, adorable to Kai, but he wouldn't say that. That would be a horrible way to continue their recently patched relationship—if it was even completely patched at all.

"Yes, mother. You can pay for my meals." Kai chuckled, the tease coming out naturally, though he still found himself hesitating afterward to see if it had been a good idea or not.

Izzy walked over to the door and held it open for Kai with a small smile on his lips.
"After you."

Kai sized up Izzy's smile and suddenly gentlemanly antics with amusement. Kai couldn't help but think that he was perhaps being mocked a little for his gentlemanly ways.
The night was going so well, and their relationship was much better than Kai would have ever hoped. The teasing was already a risk, and now mocking? Kai couldn't say that he didn't welcome it. It was much better than anything that he would have thought from before the dinner. Perhaps they would end up getting along quite well. And Kai had learned his lesson about hormones. Never again was that going to happen. Ever.

Kai stopped before getting in the door, glad that there was no one behind them, so that he wouldn't feel rushed to walk through.
Here we go...
"Ladies first," he replied without hesitating, gesturing to the area within the door, smiling ever so sweetly at Izzy. It was another tease, and yet again, another risk, but perhaps their relationship had mended enough that things wouldn't go awry right now.

"Mother?! Oh my, you're awful Kai! It's Manager to you but I suppose since both start with an M, you find that they pretty much go hand in hand." he laughed taking the tease very well. Of course, he had been a 'Mom' as a manager on several occasions while working with the younger stars. It was par for the course. So being called a Mother almost seemed normal in a weird sort of way but then again, Kai was an adult.

"But if you become too expensive, it will be a home cooked meal for you. My budget only goes so far." he smirked just a bit as he walked. "Not sure what you'd think of my cooking."

Although when Kai said, Ladies first, he paused just for a second, "Mother and now a Lady...Did I miss something here?" He looked down at his flat chest and then started to giggle, "I didn't think so. But..." He scooted on in where Kai gestured and glanced back once to make sure Kai had followed.

But then he turned his head and saw....delicious pastries. "Oishii desu!" He seemed enthralled by the multitudes of treats presented and seen on the menu above. "I'm going to have to....diet." He complained softly behind his hand as his wide eyes stared at the gorgeous treats behind the glass.

Hiroki tried not to be tempted by those lips. He wanted to remain unmoved by the kiss...those soft lips pressing against his own such as it was hadn't been what he had in mind when it came to pay backs. But the mouth in little ways was almost inviting. However, who those lips they were attached to certainly was not.. And so he tried to keep his cool..while Koyasu-kun was definitely in the mood...even as Hiroki sank on to the couch; He wasn't... and right now he was really finding it hard not to think of Koyasu-kun as anything more than a spoiled brat hell bent on a victory feast at his expense.

Pulling his lips back from the kiss, Akihiko fixed ice blue eyes on the secretary. "Oh come now, Hiroki-kun... don't tell me that did absolutely nothing."
In fact, Narcissus pulled back completely to where he was now just straddling Asato's lap, a knee on each side of the man. His lithe hands remained pressed against the other man's shoulders, but he didn't try to kiss him again.
At least not yet...
"Not even a little blush for me? Or... perhaps... you've been in this precarious position before and have just neglected to inform me about it, hmm?" the musician asked with a raised eyebrow and an oh-so-dark smirk.

Hiroki's brown eyes rose up to meet the blue ones with a cool gaze that easily depicted the control the man had. No wonder he had been picked for the position he maintained with pride. He wasn't one to be turned on so easily....not so easy to manipulate into 'feeling it'. "As much as I do your, grandfather's bidding did you expect me to be turned on by a kiss." He chuckled just a little, "Why should I blush, Koyasu-kun? Are you going to show me something I've not seen before?"

For a split second, Akihiko looked like he might... like he JUST might get mad. His left eye very nearly twitched...
But then the young man's smirk darkened. "Would you like to see what I'm really capable of making you feel, Hiroki-kun?" the Narcissus asked, reaching one lithe hand up to gently cup the side of Asato's face. "Because I can make you beg me for the simplest of touches before this night is even over..."
Turning, Koyasu stood and moved back to the wine glasses. He took his own, pouring more of the lush red liquid into the crystal, before taking Hiroki's and re-filling it.
"But I think first..." looking back to the secretary, Akihiko handed him the glass. "A toast should be made... because I have a feeling that you're going to be my biggest challenge yet... and that's saying a lot." Akihiko laughed darkly before drinking down his own wine.

"Beg? That I doubt. Especially, from you." he said as he pulled his face away from the hand. His eyes never left Koyasu-kun, as the man got up and poured the wine. He reseated himself in a less vulnerable position not really sure what he was going to do with Koyasu-kun but obviously he hit a nerve. Which tonight was ok with Hiroki because what he did here...wouldn't affect his work, the company, or the Chairman. However, even as he took the glass, he doubted he would drink much.. if only a sip. He didn't wish to be...loosened up by liquor. "Alright, a small toast, you might have requested one night with me Koyasu-kun...but you never were specific. And I am sure I will be...." He took a sip of the wine. A very small sip after the toast.

Laughing once more, Akihiko poured himself another glass. "If that's all you can drink, then your alcohol tolerance must be shot to hell." the young man spoke, drinking half the glass this time. He stood there, swirling the liquid within the clear crystal, blue eyes focused on its swirl and not on Hiroki.
For now...
"Tell me, Hiroki-kun... why do I have the feeling that you don't want me to inherit the company?" Akihiko asked, obviously serious because his gaze changed so drastically that most people might have bolted.
He went from charming and seductive... to cold and brutal in the blink of an eye.
The gaze of a killer... some might say...
"Am I that inadequate?"

Hiroki smiled as Aki shot an insult at him, "No, it's not all I can drink but I like to feel the experience, if I'm going to have one. You should have expected that I wouldn't go down as an easy conquest. You didn't ask for that."
Then he had to reflect a moment on that question well aware of the mood change. Oh he was quite prepared for the change because Koyasu-kun could spin the wheel of emotion on a dime, "Inadequate, no....You're not inadequate but you've a lot to learn. One day someone will come along and trip up that ego of yours, when that happens it will rock your world hard. You can't win every time, Koyasu-kun. " He was honest at least.
He then did take another small sip of the wine...it wasn't as if he'd ever finish this glass. Not with Koyasu-kun's shift in emotions. Always on guard, Hiroki knew that the monster within was coiling.

A soft scoffing sound escaped Akihiko, "Trip my ego up, you say?" the young man shrugged, regarding the wine in his glass once more. "And when I do ascend to my grandfather's position... will you be there, Hiroki-kun?" those icy blue eyes focused on the man intently once more. "Or will you cut your losses and run like a coward?"

He tilted his head and looked at Aki carefully, "Would you even want me there, Koyasu-kun? After all these years that you've had to put up with me? You've never really been fond of me so why would you even worry about whether I would stay or go?" Sure, he had thought about cutting his loss many time in regards to the matter. He'd be stupid not to. Koyasu-kun didn't have the sensitivity to know when caring, being generous, gentle...and warm were needed. He was brutal, ruthless and didn't give a damn about others feelings. Hiroki doubted the company would thrive without some of those aspects.

"Why wouldn't I want you there?" Akihiko asked seriously. "You're loyal and a hard worker. I"m not an idiot, Hiroki. I see things for what they are. You may think me a simple-minded spoiled rich brat who just wants a good screw every now and then... albeit a brat with a genius for music, but a brat just the same.... but I'm far more than that, my dear secretary."
Smirking, Narcissus put his wine glass down, after draining it once more.
"Drink your damn wine so I can make good on my promise to have you begging. I'd rather not get wine stains in the carpet, you know."

"You see things for what they are... but you've not learned that being friendly, kind and generous has its merits in developing good rapport with those under you. You've only learned one side of what's needed to be run a company like Ohayou." said Hiroki without a second thought. "Most people might agree with your 'description'. If you want people to think better of you then maybe you should consider showing that side."
"I'm really not that thirst, Koyasu-kun...but I'll drink a little more just for you." he said as he sipped down to a half of the glass. "But since when were you ever concerned about the messes you leave behind." He sat the glass on the coffee table leaving it half full.

Sighing, Akihiko shrugged his shoulders in semi-defeat. "You're so damn hard to influence, Hiroki. Then again," he put one finger to his lips, tapping them thoughtfully. "I suppose that's what I value about you. Stubborn to the core..." the Narcissus smiled. "I really do like that quality in a lay... and in a subordinate."
Walking past Hiroki, Koyasu seemed to be fiddling with the room's lighting, making it a tad bit darker to better deepen the mood.
"I do hope you realize that in about ten minutes, your body is going to start feeling damn sluggish. I didn't start this encounter unprepared for your arrival, after all. I plan ahead." smirking, Koyasu made sure to lock the suit's door before slipping the key down the back of his pants for safe keeping. "I'll show you what happens when someone crosses me. Be they friend of foe. And perhaps I'll be able to prove two things to you tonight, Hiroki." walking closer, Akihiko stopped just behind the couch. "The first is that I will utterly destroy my opponents, be they companies or mere rivals. And the second..." reaching out one lithe hand once more, he took Asato's chin in his fingers and tilted the man's head back and up so that he could look down into the secretary's eyes. "Is that no matter what is thrown at me... I always get what I want... and..." voice dropping to a deeply delicious tone, Narcissus hovered his lips just over those of Hiroki. "That I always make good on my promises..." he whispered before claiming the man's lips in his own gently yet passionately.

Hiroki blinked just a bit behind the mask of his calm. Drugged? Koyasu-kun drugged him? Oh good god. So this was how Aki went about winning. He might have considered the words said to him a bit more but he knew he might be running out of time. It was the only reason why those lips were able to claim his so easily at the moment. The words had to get through...he had to react fast. Show this child that sometimes even in victory...one could lose.
And so Hiroki laughed upon that passionate kiss, suddenly grabbing Koyasu-kun by the back of the head and pulling him in a quick move over the couch and on to the floor. He knew this would surprise the boy. Shoving the young man hard into the plush surface...Coffee table knocked away by his back foot as he fiercely took Koyasu-kun's lips. Pressing hard to part them...darting in to steal his own taste. "Then I'd better take advantage of this while I can." his words muttered as he overpowered Aki... He'd show this boy shocking.... A tiger, powerful and relentless... Aki would pay for each minute till 10.... He ripped through the boy's shirt like it was paper with one hand while the other held Aki down. Yes, this wouldn't affect..his job, the company....or the Chairman...

This... was unexpected...
Or was it.
Smirking, Akihiko didn't struggle as he was pinned down to the carpet by the other man. A man who actually was broader in the shoulders and had a bit more muscle mass then he himself. Not to mention taller.
'Note to self, pissing off Hiroki could be bad.' the musician thought to himself before his lips were almost violently invaded.
Akihiko's well toned chest was easily exposed by the tearing motion, and pinned beneath Hiroki, Narcissus could do very little to improve his situation.
But how bad could 10 minutes be?

TEN MINUTES LATER...

But as the fog of a night well spent cleared, the young Koyasu began to laugh. It was a near hysterical sound and he looked back over his shoulder at Hiroki with a coy smirk.
"How are you feeling... now that your time has run out?"

Hiroki collapsed across Aki's back feelingly light headed and rather well...exhausted. But...that felt rather....normal? He didn't even begin to consider what Aki said until well after he had pulled away from the young man. Quickly, he stumbled backwards just enough to put distance between him, while his senses started to come back online. The laughter was enough to let Hiroki know he'd been tricked. Let himself get psychologically pulled in and that in itself was disturbing on so many levels. He didn't answer Aki but instead re-focused his eyes upon the bathroom and went there slamming and locking the door behind him.

When Akihiko had finished laughing, the young man stood, pulling his long hair back over one shoulder and out of his eyes.
"You really are so naive, Hiroki..." the musician spoke, walking over to the coffee table and pulling a cigarette out of the package. He placed it between his lips, lit the tip, and took a long drag. "I always get what I want... and this time, I didn't even have to try very hard." he shrugged to himself. "Though I suppose I could have just laid there and taken it... but I don't particularly like playing the uke so I figured to try and spice it up just a little."
Narcissus smirked, so very cocky and confident now that the act was over. After all Hiroki had slept with him, consensually in the strictest sense of the word, and he had been able to show just how manipulative he could be.
"So do tell me, Hiroki... why would I have needed to show sympathy or compassion? You gave me what I wanted and I didn't even have to take it... So... I'd like to know what point you were trying so desperately to make by throwing me to the floor and ravaging me." the man laughed, once more a note of insanity creeping into the deep sound.
"I would have preferred you verbally begging... but the idea that you weren't about to stop for anything... well... that works as begging for my tastes."
Of course, Akihiko was rather curious as to what Hiroki was doing in the bathroom.
"And please, if you're thinking of killing yourself out of some 'I've failed at life' mentality... spare me, Asato. Bloodstains really are a b***h to get out of the carpet..." he smirked darkly, finding humor in his words. "Moreso than wine even..."

Hiroki washed his face in the bathroom. He'd been tricked again and well that didn't set well with him. The creature outside had disgusted him in ever sense of the word and well as he looked at himself in the mirror, he hadn't done a good job for his own state of being. Oh he fulfilled his own part of the damned bargain. Aki had won.. and Hiroki was tired...Actually he felt rather sorry now more for Izzy Lucky than for himself. He should have never made this bet.
Soon he had even straightened up his clothes. Never once answering Koyasu-kun any of those questions. He took a deep breath and thought about the Chairman. Thought about work...the work he...loved? He became his secretary self now. and soon he stepped out of the bathroom walking back into the living area. He wouldn't give Aki any more pleasure tonight. "You've your information on your new manager, you've had your fun. Good night Koyasu-kun. I've better things to do with my night."

Smirking, Koyasu produced the keycard that would unlock the door. "You're not going anywhere until I say so, Asato." the young man spoke calmly... coldly even. "You're here for the night, and I certainly don't see the first rays of dawn any time soon."
Turning away, key in hand, Akihiko moved over to the curtain covered windows, before pulling them back to reveal Tokyo at night.
"Utsukushii.." Narcissus whispered, blue gaze locked on the cityscape.
"Tell me, Hiroki... and be honest... was I the first man you'd ever slept with? And before you ask why it matters... I'm simply curious is all."

Hiroki sighed realizing that indeed was a part of the damned wager, "I don't feel the need to answer that, Koyasu-kun." His eyes looked out toward the city as he formulated his resignation in the back of his mind. It was more upon his own failure see around this monster's game. How could he serve the Chairman well if he couldn't handle this. He couldn't. No, Koyasu-kun wouldn't affect his place in the company. He do it himself in the end. So he really in a way didn't care too much what he said to Koyasu-kun at this point in return. "In answer to your previous question, because people will not care for you...nor wish to work with you...nor support you when you need it most. "
He turned considered his options in this apartment. The only safe possibly quiet place would be the bathroom. He doubted he'd get any sleep.

"I didn't expect an answer in truth..." Akihiko replied, his voice sounding somewhat distant and distracted.
But then he asked something so out of left field, so completely absurd that any sane person would have laughed.
"As you are no doubt thinking about turning in a resignation letter to my grandfather, I have this one thing to ask of you before you make up your mind on the matter." turning, Narcissus focused his attention solely on Hiroki and nothing else. There was true honesty in his gaze, no guarded secrets or hidden agendas this time.
"If I showed... some form of compassion or sympathy to my allies at the very least... would you remain as secretary to the chairman... even when that chairman is myself?"

His own fingers sought out his brow squeezing just at the forehead because the idea of leaving the Chairman pained his heart deeply but seemed so necessary now. He wished in the core of his being he never had taken up this wager. Just to end up his life being ripped asunder from a heartless man who couldn't care for anything more but himself. Listening to those words were really hard to digest at this point. Hiroki felt a different tremor inside now -one of loss....tinged with a vacant empty feeling. He looked up seeing those eyes, and even though it was an 'honest gaze' Hiroki knew that Narcissus was a consummate actor. "If it were real....If I could believe it....maybe.. But...right now, I don't believe you could or would. Just wanting to lure me to make another foolish mistake." he tried to keep his emotions so masked but it was terribly hard especially with the next lines, " I love your Grandfather...his work...his goals...his vision for his company with all my heart and being. He's earned that respect from me. I work hard for him not because he forces me but because its worth seeing that satisfied smile when a job's well done."
He grit his teeth and took a breath, "But you, you'd tear down...me...or anyone else you felt wasn't at your heel. It's a thrill to you...What sort of compassion could you even find? Did you even consider how I'd feel after your game? Yes, I'm considering resigning. I'm suppose to be able to see s**t like this and you've called me Naive twice...rightly so..at this point. I shouldn't be in my position if I can't see through someone like you. I can't protect your grandfather's interests..."

"And why can't you?" Narcissus asked seriously, his gaze never moving away from Hiroki's own eyes.
He was dead set on making some sort of point...
"I'm not an unfeeling monster, though you seem to think I am. Then again, I've never really given you reason to see me as anything but..." sighing, the musician shrugged. "You're a good man, Hiroki. A very good man." there was no maliciousness in his voice at all... just a sincere compliment.
Turning slightly, he focused his gaze on the cityscape once more.
"My grandfather would be devastated if you resigned. And I doubt he would be the only one..."
Yes, Akihiko would feel horrible if Asato left over their bargain. But it was something that the prodigy had been forced to do. There was simply no other way.
This was a test... nothing more.
And if Hiroki passed that test... well... then he had nothing more to fear from Narcissus...
If he failed...
The company would survive... but it would have lost it's most trusted man.
"You're so sentimental..." the young Koyasu spoke, smiling slightly, smiling honestly, in Hiroki's direction. "No, you didn't see through my plans, Hiroki. It simply means you need to keep on your toes. So that next time, you can be the one standing there giving me a lecture for something horrible that I've done... and I can be the one standing here listening to it."

"Why can't I? I've never seen any warm affection good feelings from you. Only mischief or malice....or moodiness. How am I to see anything else? I'm not a mind reader." Although he wished he had been one in the past day.
"Koyasu-kun, I want your grandfather to be confident that I can do my job. But I have to confident in myself to be able....to perform for him. You've pretty much walked in and stomped all over that. I don't want to hurt your grandfather. I know it will hurt him if I leave. But I have to be responsible if I cannot...." he paused... "...cannot see things like this coming then I've no right to stay. And I do try to keep on my toes but obviously I wasn't good enough this time."
He quieted really wanting to just accept this and go away. But a part of him wanted to just reach out and strangle the b*****d before him as well. "I've definitely learned a few things tonight...." His fingers clenched on one side...
Trying not to forget that he had many hours left before he could go.

Looking back to the city, Akihiko nodded. "Then you truly do mean to resign?" he asked, that one simple question the only thing that left his lips.

He took a deep breath...that question really struck him. Felt like a wedge into his heart that he wanted to claw out. "I...I" he couldn't say it. No matter how many ways, he couldn't say it...What else could he do then? The thought kept him rooted to the spot until his secretarial side took over. "I...I'll...talk to your grandfather.....and if he wants to remove me, then it is his choice. If so, I will go. If not, I will...seek psychological help...and classes to improve my....business skills."

A slight smile of amusement, though more at how hilarious the notion of needing psychological help sounded, graced Akihiko's expressionless features. He turned ever so slightly and tossed the keycard expertly at Hiroki, angling it so the man would have no problems catching it.
"Give my grandfather my regards when you meet with him, Asato-san." Narcissus spoke calmly, yet with a certain amount of
quietness. "I am sure he will conclude that you remain just where you are."
And then he focused once more on the cityscape, seeming to care not a bit if Hiroki left or stayed. Narcissus remained frozen, blue eyes fixed on the blinking lights beyond the window.

Hiroki caught the card and said nothing more. He walked away...left and sincerely wished he had never made that wager.
His feelings about Koyasu-kun were very mixed certainly he felt little if anything for the young man at this point. Although quite a bit wiser. Their world had changed, he had changed and felt a little more hollow inside.

As soon as Hiroki was gone, the mask that Koyasu Akihiko had learned to wear so long ago, fell.
The young man turned, falling into a plush leather chair and sinking down into the surface. He was comfortable, a cigarette between two lithe fingers, head tilted back to look up at the ceiling.
Comfort however, wasn't enough to stave off the sudden rush of emotions that came over the narcissistic man.
Two tear tracks etched their way from his eyes and down his temples. With an audible sigh, Narcissus pulled himself together and shook his head.
"Baka... I did that for your own good..." the musician spoke to the darkened hotel suite. "If you can't handle me... if you can't handle what I am... then you can't handle this company when it becomes mine. It's as simple as that, Asato Hiroki... simple as..." he reached over to the side table and grabbed the wine bottle, pouring himself a glass. "...that..." the prodigy whispered before raising the crystal in a toast to the cityscape of Tokyo.
"I want only the best by my side... when it's finally my turn to shine." Akihiko smirked darkly, before downing the glass.

(((OOC: BY THE WAY EVERYONE!

We really need to end this day soon. So please, try to finish up this day (or at least start the next one with an 'early in the morning' time) by the end of Sunday. That doesn't mean that Kai and Ryu have to rush through their stuff... Kai can get just there kinda late (or really early in the morning) and it'll still be the next day.

So, let's try and wrap up day 2 before Monday morning! WOOT!)))

Somewhere... there was a piano playing oh so softly...
The more Naoko focused on that sound, the more he came to realize how familiar it was...
So familiar that...
Amber eyes opened wearily and the young man found that the first thing he was looking at... was a television.
Only... he was on the television... and he was the one playing the piano...
'...and reports of the pianist's whereabouts are still pending. His family has filed a missing person's report with the local authorities yesterday. Until recently, Oumori Naoko, better known by his stage name of NAKO, had been performing with the band Hikari Ya Yami as the group's pianist.'
'That's right, Mariko-san. NAKO is a promising talent in the music world, as you could see from the video clip of one of his performances we showed earlier in the broadcast. Fans all over Japan are wondering, ~Just what happened to Oumori Naoko?~. Back to you Mariko-san.'
'In other news...'

Blinking in confusion, Naoko moved to stand.
Or rather tried to...
It took a few more moments for the young pianist to realize that he was in a rather precarious position. A moment more to realize that he couldn't speak either.
The knowledge that he was bound, hands behind his back with straps around his thighs and calves to prevent him from moving his legs, was a shock. Though perhaps not as much of one as the fact that he had a ball gag in his mouth.
And certainly not as much as the sudden realization... that he was naked.
Struggling was the first thing on the young man's mind, as was the nagging thought that this seemed so very familiar.
"Did you enjoy yourself?" came a voice from the doorway.
Amber eyes focused intently on the figure, head turned. Naoko tried to speak but only a muffled sound was able to escape him.
"Stop struggling, you know you like it." said the other man, a comment which actually brought a faint blush to the pianist's cheeks. "And just think... we've all the time in the world together. My dear... NAKO..."
Stepping into the dim room, flashes from the tv collided with bright sparks of lightning from the dark skies out the window and throwing the shadows into disarray, was none other than Hayato.
Hikari Ya Yami's lead member and vocalist...

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Gasping, Naoko sat bolt upright in the bed, lightning flashing around him. It startled the young man, and for just an instant, he felt as if he couldn't move.
The strong sound of wind and pelting rain assaulted his ears, and one quick glance over to the bedside table revealed why the room was nearly pitch black...

~12:01 AM~

At first, the pianist was confused. Not because it was raining or dark and not because he was laying in bed in a robe.
Heavens no.
It was because he was alone.

"Naoko...the only pain I will feel is when HE returns. And if that is love....and if that is what you want, I will look away this time. When he makes you beg, when he degrades you like a dog. I'll look away. It's the only thing I can do for you anymore."

"Sai..."
Emotions hit Naoko hard, nearly threatening to overwhelm the young man as they had the previous night.
Somehow though, the pianist managed to keep them at bay. Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, the blond stood and headed for the closet.
He needed something else to wear when...
"Empty?"
Naoko's amber eyes widened at the sight that he beheld.
EVERYTHING was gone, from the entire place!
There were no clothes, nothing in the closet except what Naoko had worn to the house... miraculously pressed and cleaned...
The piano in the corner was even gone! The only furniture was the bed, a small nightstand, and the clock and...
A note...
Curious, and rather confused about this entirely new turn in events, NAKO picked up the ripped sheet of paper and began to read.

- Naoko -

I shouldn't give this to you. But your desperation to follow this road leaves me stranded in your past. I cannot stop you from falling and this will only seal that fate. But I guess...all I can wish for is that you are able to live the lie...and be happy than face a bitter truth and flounder from bed to bed.

There is nothing more I can do for you....There is no more I can give. But, if time ever allows you to change, remember me from time to time.

Hayato - 314

- Sai -

Anger, bitter disappointment and the feeling of being betrayed...
Those played with the pianist's very soul for a few moments.
But then came the joy... the wishful and hoping feeling that this note held what he'd been so desperately looking for.
"Hayato..." the blond whispered.
Wasting no time... he hurriedly began to dress.
After all... Naoko had a hospital to get to.
Again...

“I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.”

Time had seemed to slow down...no...to speed up...no...time stood still for Ryu, the fatigue and medication taking over completely. The violinist attempted to stay awake, hoping to hear something from Naoko, or hoping that Kai would get there soon. Finally submitting to the call of sleep, Ryu let his eyes slide closed, knowing that he would be woken up when Kai arrived. As Ryu dreamed, the clock kept ticking, moving just past midnight and into the next day.
"Naoko...." the injured young man said the name lovingly, in his sleep, followed, almost in a whisper, by, "Nakai..."

K a i - H i g u r i

Kai chuckled and stepped in after Izzy, glad that his manager had such a sweet tooth. Kai liked sweets too, but definitely not as much as Izzy did. The singer was glad that he had made the right choice in where to go for dessert. It would end the night well.
Kai gleaned Izzy's likings and ordered for him, not caring about the price. He only got a dark chocolate raspberry truffle and a decadent but small tart for himself. Kai barely looked at the price when he paid, but he noticed that Izzy's eyes sort of popped at the sum. It just made Kai smile more. He was taking a liking to his manager quite a bit. There was a great possibility that they could work together quite well.

The rest of the night with Izzy passed by too quickly for Kai's taste. They talked about anything and everything, leaving the business until tomorrow's meeting. It was an unspoken agreement that this meeting was about repairing first impressions—for Kai—and getting to know each other—for both of them. Kai didn't learn much about Izzy's private life, but then again, Izzy didn't learn much about Kai's either. Though Kai did add Izzy's number into his private cell halfway through their dessert outing. He was really starting to take to Izzy, though not in a romantic manner. He just found Izzy quite likable, and he hoped that Izzy found him suitable also, despite their earlier encounter and his conduct at such.

When Kai had to leave at one in the morning—the desert store opened to three in the morning—he really was loath to leave. But Ryu waited, and Kai really hated being late, especially for someone who seemed so utterly miserable—even if it was odd that until that phone call, that person seemed to hate him with a desperate passion—but Kai pushed that aside.
Kai made sure that Izzy had a safe way of getting home first—not that he didn't trust Izzy's capabilities to do things himself; it was just a gentlemanly reaction—then he made his way to Ryu's...
Wait a second...
Kai stopped as he got to his car, deciding not to go for a snazzy limo, but just for a Porsche instead. Kai perhaps even liked those cars more.
The chauffeur awaited his instructions, but he realized that he had no instructions to give. How the hell was he supposed to know where Ryu lived?

Tentatively, Kai rang up the fellow battler for Naoko's affections—not that there really was a battle, since Kai wasn't serious—a little afraid that he would wake up Ryu. Kai wasn't sure what he'd say, since the fact that they were even meeting at all, and under such odd circumstances, was already awkward enough. But a promise was a promise, and Kai couldn't deny that he was at least a little curious as to Ryu's odd change in behavior of late.

Oh, there's a lot of opportunities
If you know when to take them, you know?------------------------------------------------}:-

Asato Hiroki & Chairman Koyasu Aki
Location: Early Morning - Koyasu Estate

Asato Hiroki left his home early around 6 am. His heart couldn't wait any longer having not really slept at all after the incident at the Hotel. Each passing moment, he tried to envision what he'd say to the Chairman. But every minute that he thought about it, his mind strayed back to the hotel room and it only served to make him more stressed. But eventually, he pulled up at the manor and like usual, the butler let him in easily.

He wondered if Koyasu-sama was already having breakfast...but the manservant went upstairs instead of towards the private bedrooms of the estate. The Chairman must have still been getting ready for work, so Hiroki waited to see if he would be allowed up to the private rooms or left to wait below.

The butler had no problem with letting Hiroki enter the private rooms of the chairman. In fact, Koyasu Aki was rather used to his secretary coming to the manor at odd hours of the day, or night.

Standing in a pair of black dress pants with a white, freshly pressed, collared shirt. He seemed to be buttoning the cuffs as his eyes strayed for a moment to glance at the door. "Ah, Asato-kun. Come in. Come in. Here about the meeting, no doubt?" Aki asked with a friendly smile. And since the chairman had a meeting slated for later that morning, he only assumed that Asato was here in regards to that meeting.

Hiroki stepped in slowly, he was dressed well as if ready for work but his face was rather etched by the lack of sleep. Usually, he was far more eager to get to work even at odd hours but today, that was very hard to do. He glanced up seeing the man he so dearly enjoyed working for preparing for another...normal day. Hiroki wanted desperately to be a part of that normal day again. But, Koyasu-kun had made that possibility quite diminished in Hiroki's eyes.

"Sir, Ah... iie.. I'm not here about the meeting. I apologize, it's...something else completely." he said slowly. "Do you..have time to talk?" His voice was much quieter than usual...everything about him was off.

Those last six words actually made the elder man pause. He looked over at Hiroki once more, noticing that the poor man looked as if he hadn't slept in some time. "Asato-kun... I always have the time to talk, especially for you, you should know that by now." Aki replied with a slight grandfatherly smile. He turned toward a cabinet in the room, walking over and opening it to reveal a few brandy glasses and a crystal bottle. "Care for a drink? You look as if you could use it, my friend."

Hiroki smiled a little as the Chairman spoke but it was hardly a happy one. "I know...but I fear..the things I have to say today." He paused as he was offered a drink. He probably shouldn't, but he couldn't refuse. He could rarely refuse Koyasu-sama. "Ah...maybe so... just a little, sir."

Nodding, Aki poured two glasses. "It may be a little early for a drink... but it seems something rather serious is on your mind." That, and the elder man got the strange feeling that his secretary really needed something to relax him. Whatever was bothering Hiroki... seemed to be almost overwhelming the man.
Walking over, Aki handed Hiroki one of the small glasses, both having been half filled.

"Would you rather we sit in the study?" he asked.

"It is a little early, sir." That Hiroki did admit. He took the glass and looked down at the liquor. "I'm sorry...sir....I feel like I've done some...terrible. I don't know how...to clear my head of it." he said softly. Then, for a second he thought about the Chairman's last question but of course he was a little off so answering took him a moment, "Whichever you'd prefer, sir."

But Aki shook his head, "Anything you've done, Asato-kun can always be forgiven. And it's your decision. I simply feel that you would be more comfortable sitting than standing there in my doorway." the chairman smiled slightly before leading the man from the room and into the study. It was actually more like an office, with various platinum and gold records on the walls, as well as shelf after shelf of reading materials and both cds and mini discs.

Sitting in one of the leather chairs, Aki crossed one leg over the other. "What is on your mind, Asato-kun?"

"I don't know about this time, sir." he said still staring into the glass but then he followed Koyasu-sama into the study. It was a much more comfortable place and well Hiroki always felt good in this room. Many victories upon the walls and memories of days passed. Memories which he knew most of the details in their making. Even ones he had been to young to be a part of since he had gladly listened to so many of the Chairman's stories.

Hiroki sat down opposite of Koyasu-sama and let his hands remained clasped about the glass between his legs. " I suppose I should start at the beginning." He took a sip of the brandy and let its warmth course down his throat. "The other day, I made the mistake of a wager with Koyasu-kun about Izzy Lucky's placement. He bet that he could get you to agree. I thought it would be harder on him to get what he wanted. Well, if he won he only asked for One thing from me. It wasn't described...but I negotiated for something that wouldn't affect you, the company or my position. He agreed."

Pausing for a moment, he swirled the liquid in the glass. He wouldn't look up but continued to speak, "He won the bet and I went to find out last night what he wanted as his...one thing. I was a fool to make that bet in the first place but when I got there, he told me his one thing...was..." He tried to figure out a way to say it as he bit his bottom lip. "...um...for me to...um.. spend the night with him.." Finally, getting that part out was a struggle in itself and he took a deep breath just get through it.

At first, Aki didn't say anything. The chairman sipped his brandy, thinking over what his secretary had just said. "That doesn't surprise me, to be honest. Maybe I've become a bit cynical where my grandson is concerned... but almost everything with that boy revolves around nightly flings." sighing, the older man shook his head. "Let me guess... you being the honorable man you are... indeed spent the night in his bed?"

He sighed and took another drink trying to figure out how to say things that dug into his soul like bitter spikes, "I didn't want to...but I was going to the...honorable thing. He had giving me a drink and kept goading me to drink it. So I finally decided to appease him some and drank half." He slowed down and became silent as his eyes closed, "He then kissed me, and well I didn't plan to be very responsive but then gave me the impression that he had drugged the wine and....I chose to react out of anger."

He gritted his teeth and forced from his lips as he clenched the glass, "I wanted him to know that he couldn't always win....but in the end he was laughing again at me for a second time. Because the wine hadn't been drugged at all.. Even while he counted down 10 minutes."

Closing his eyes for a moment, it was obvious that this turn in events disappointed the chairman greatly. Though if he were disappointed with Hiroki or with Akihiko, one wouldn't be able to tell.

At least, not until he finally spoke...

"My grandson's a fine little p***k, isn't he?" the elder man asked with a hint of anger in his voice. "He tricked you... he's good at manipulating other people.
Which is partly why I have high hopes for him succeeding me in the future." sighing, the chairman thought to himself for a few moments. "He made you think the wine was drugged so that you would... well... take advantage of the situation as a sort of payback. Obviously he was counting on your reaction... sometimes, the boy sees too much of the true hearts in people far more than I'm comfortable with at times." another sigh escaped him, but Aki could hardly help it...

After a moment, the elder man's own blue eyes focused on Hiroki. "Tell me, Asato-kun... there are many ways I can handle this turn in events, and I want you to tell me which you feel more appropriate. As much as I love Akihiko, he's a pain in the a** more often than not... so I can either punish him by putting him on suspension, wherein he will have absolutely no access to any of Ohayou's funds nor any of the funds or residences associated with the Koyasu name... or I can hire a few bouncers to rough him up in an effort to teach him a lesson. Of course, I can easily overlook what he's done too, if that's your wish. You, my friend, will decide his punishment for this grievous offense. It may not have hurt the company, but it did hurt me, Asato-kun. You're very important to this company and to me... not only that, but you're like family. The boy won't get away with such a manipulative trick."

Hiroki looked up a fraction of more, his eyes were rather moist but he wasn't streaked with tears. Not yet anyway. "I just wish to serve you well but after being tricked so easily by him, I don't know how I can. If I can't see through his cruel plans what good am I to you. Every day, I wonder if he loves at all...he has no compassion. Will he drive your legacy to its knees? Every time I look at him, I see 'I' not 'us' but the company's heart is made of many people efforts."

When he heard that Koyasu-sama wanted him to decide his punishment, that in itself was rather profound to say the least. Would Koyasu-kun learn from a heavy hand beating the crap out of him? Would taking his money away change the man? It was a terrible thought that such extremes were needed in any case but...doing nothing....That wouldn't help. He knew that Koyasu-kun wouldn't change if nothing bent him to change.

"Sir, you know your grandson better than I...but I don't think beating him up will give the desired results. I know that he needs to be fierce...I know that manipulation used the right way is invaluable but...he lives by winning but he doesn't know how to lose, love or when to feel something for others. He could plan out a corporate takeover but he'd lose all the employees hearts. Would taking away his money solve that?"

"Akihiko... well... Akihiko was always a difficult boy. He's not like others and he knows it. Taking away his money might break him, but once he has it back, he'll probably be on a war-path of destruction, if you want the honest truth." sighing, Aki shook his head. "Something must be done but... perhaps house arrest? Of course I would then want someone I trusted to watch him... or rather make sure he doesn't break the door down."

"House arrest?" he blinked for a second then one hand reached up to wipe across his own eyes. Not wanting to have an tears in front of a man he valued above most others.

For a moment, the chairman studied Hiroki.

"You do realize that your inability to see through Akihiko's lie doesn't make you any less of a secretary, or man, in the eyes of myself or the company in general, don't you? Like I said, the boy's a manipulative little b*****d. Hell, I've even been fooled by him on occasion. He needs to lose though, you're right about that..."

Sitting there, he listened to those words and felt compelled to watch Koyasu-sama as he spoke. It was almost as if the man was slowly plucking out each little sharp needle one by one that had claimed his soul. "I almost thought of resigning...but I'd find it so hard to leave your side. I didn't think you'd forgive me. Koyasu-kun said he knew you would and I didn't want to believe him."

"I wondered if marriage might solve his problem at times. Make him settle down but...I'd feel sorry for any person with him in that way. However, if you lock him in the house, how will he go on tour?"

Marriage?

Aki had to keep himself from laughing at that concept. He'd tried to arrange a few marriages for his grandson before... and they had all ended in disaster.
One had even ended with a hefty lawsuit...

"If I didn't forgive you, I'd be a rather cold man, don't you think? After all, you only did the honorable thing... and certainly I wouldn't have blamed you if you'd punched the boy and simply left after the initial request." the chairman smiled slightly, "But then again, that's the type of man you are. You're a good man, Asato-kun."

If only he'd known that his grandson had said the same thing of the secretary hours earlier...

"Thank you, sir. I wasn't sure how I'd live with myself if you had not." Another needle just drawn away and it was putting him so at ease. He'd do anything for this man but this time, it seemed Koyasu-sama was doing this for him. A sort of healing he never would have thought possible. "I try to make you proud of me. I want you to shine each day I serve you."

"As for the tour... I'll simply have it rescheduled. The brat needs to learn that he can't toy with the hearts of those who are supposed to put some fraction of trust in him." sipping the brandy, the elder man was silent for another moment.
His next breath seemed a tad lighter but he had to ask this question, "Koyasu-sama, do you think Koyasu-kun could run this company. Chotto... Do you think the company would thrive under him?"

"He can run the company, and it can thrive under him. But ONLY if he is surrounded by people he can trust." Aki laughed slightly. "Hell, Asato-kun, I wouldn't be surprised if this was some sort of test concocted by the little b*****d. However..." shaking his head, the man continued. "As I've said, his punishment is in your hands, my friend. After all, he wronged you."

He then laughed a little and it felt real rather than forced, "I should have punched him. I really would have preferred it."Reschedule it? Mm...but you had meant for Nakai also to perform."

The brandy had started to kick in a bit more and Hiroki almost felt human again...and still loved. Maybe that was what he had been worried about the most. That he'd be rejected for this failure...this mistake. But now, he realized that maybe all along Koyasu-sama could see much more of the things that were going on that he had ever expected.

"Maybe he was trying to test me..." It was then Hiroki stopped suddenly as if a light bulb had clicked in his head. Those words and a suggestion made by Koyasu-sama earlier fell into place. "Koyasu-sama...What if...."

In the end, Hiroki road with the Chairman to work, falling asleep in the back of the limo. The Chairman smiled as he watched his secretary dozing. Although, the smile wasn't meant for him. No...but the most cleverly designed plan they had come up with.

At times life can be so enlightening .uoy no nrut nac ti tuB

The pastries...Kai had ordered him cream puffs and chocolate butter cream cakes topped with decadent amounts of dark chocolate shavings surrounded by more butter icing in the shapes of flowers. Izzy knew the moment he saw them he'd have to take one home because there was no way he'd devour them in one sitting.

So, he started on the cream puff as they chatted and while they didn't speak of their private lives, the still seemed to have a great amount of things to chat about. It was true that Izzy wasn't ready to talk about private matters. Afterall, Kai was he star, not a close friend. But they did speak of other things such as events around town, books, and music. And by the end of it all, Izzy was rather sad when the time passed so quickly by.

His small bag in hand with the luscious petite cakes he waved with the other before picking up the briefcase. Soon he was well on his way to his own vehicle. By the end of the night, he didn't feel so bad about giving his star his 'personal' phone number by the end of the night.

When he made it home, he put the bag in his frig then made his way to the bedroom for a good night sleep. He was actually looking forward to the next day surprisingly enough. In the morning, he be working on Nakai's career. With that thought in mind he drifted off; peacefully dreaming till morning.

At least until he woke up to the alarm with a start suddenly realizing he seriously had been using Kai's first name....without honorifics! OH good god! He must have been out of his head yesterday!
