 OpalOpal giggled a little when Xavier totally drew a blank.

The Umbreon nodded, grateful for the help.
Meh, he needed to learn how relationships worked again. Maybe he'd ask someone for advice.
He'd hunt down suitable candidates later.
For now...
"Right! Erm...lets go to that Frosty place. Heard it's ni-wait...you arent interested anymore?"

OpalOpal frantically shook her head.
"N-No! I'm still interested, I was just quoting the book!" She explained, probably earning herself a strange look from the Umbreon.
"Uh, yeah, the Frosty Place sounds nice," She said, now nervous that she had just made things weird.

Xavier raied a paw to his mouth and cocked his head to the side Nyoro~N style.
"...book? They write books on dating?"

BADLY.
A book would help out a lot! But..he couldnt ask her where to find one. She'd be suspicious and he wanted to look sophisticated.
He'd have to find one later!

Oh! That was interesting. Maybe he could get a book about how to cope with 'zombie children from the grave'.
Arceus, if there was a book like that he'd own five of them.
Xavier snickered at her embarrassment and shook his head.
"Sounds like something I'd do. Well! Lets head to the Diner before it closes!"

"Hi."
Amani let out a big yawn as he walked into the Courtyard, he daughter Arizona clinging to his back.
"So prettyyyyy~" The young Riolu cooed as she looked around.
"Not as purty as you ah', me' gurl," Amani replied with a smile, scratching under Arizona's chin and making the baby giggle and blush.

  Luna & GaryLuna lay underneath a nearby tree, with Gary clinging tightly to her ankle, chewing on his tail. The Cubone glanced up at the sound of nearby voices, but said nothing as a Pikachu and a young, rather yellow Riolu came into view. This guild had a lot of cross-bred children, so she wasn't particularly surprised. Gary, however, was very much curious, and stopped chewing on his tail as he waddled over to them. "Slooooww...."

Amani---&--- ArizonaArizona pocked her head over her daddy's shoulder, looking down at the Slowpoke.
".... HAI!" She said, crawling up onto the Raichu's shoulder.
Amani replied to his daughter's new position by yawning loudly.

Luna & GaryLuna glanced over at the rather tired-looking parent Raichu had his daughter climb over onto his shoulder to greet Gary. She'd mistaken him for a Pikachu at first, with his pale colouring, but his tail gave away his actual form.
"You look tired, man." She grinned at the Raichu, still sprawled out in the grass.
Gary cooed, reaching up with a chubby pink paw to tap the Riolu's nose. "Gruuuuu~" Was all he said. Luna didn't pay him any mind. Nothing he ever said made sense.

"Hm? Oh, I usually lookin' like 'dis, mun. I gotta kid ta' look aftah', y'know?" The Raichu explained.
Arizona's little ears flickered as her nose was poked.
She hopped on the ground and kneeled down in front of Gary, inspecting him.
She lifted one of her little puppy paws and poked Gary's nose.
"No you!" She squealed.

Luna & GaryLuna nodded understandingly. "I don't think I'd get a terrible amount of sleep if Gary was as energetic as your daughter, my friend." She admitted, glancing over at the incredibly sluggish, lazy Slowpoke. "Of course, I think that would go against every rule of nature if he were that hyperactive." She sighed, watching the two of them play.
Gary squeaked, rolling over onto his back and staring up at his new playmate. He smiled, sucking on the end of his tail and he rolled around. Then, he got back up onto his feet. "Gaaaaaame...?" He asked with a yawn.

"Damn me and my love for de' Lucario women. Al'do, I don' t'ink I woulda' been any betta' off wit' a lil' Pichu runnin' around."
Arizona definitely had her mother's hyperactivity.
The Riolu in question gave a wide smile.
"HIDE GO SEEK!" She exclaimed with a happy giggle.
She reached forward and forced Gary's eyes shut, running off afterward to jump behind a bush, her large Pikachu tail sprouting out in plain view.

Luna & GaryLuna chuckled. "I don't think so, either. A Pichu would have you running in circles so fast your head would spin." She replied, amused at the thought. "Besides, I think she's cute enough as she is." She complimented mildly, adjusting her bone helmet.
Luckily for Arizona, Gary was quite possibly the best hide-and-go seek partner. He toddled around the courtyard, looking hopelessly for the Riolu. After about fifteen minutes, he finally found her, be running headfirst into her tail. He cooed, poking her nose. "'Zoooona." He squealed, abiet a very low-pitched and drawn out squeal.
Luna stared at her adopted Slowpoke child in surprise. How did he know her name? She'd known the name, as Zori had mentioned the kid before, but Gary certainly shouldn't know her.
