Happy Autumn Equinox everyone! Or Merry Mabon, if you prefer. I hope everyone's plans work out.
I'm not doing much, I have a cold that I have to be over by Sat so I'm going to be spending most of my day sleeping. But I am planning on having a nice dinner and breaking out a bottle of sparkling apple cider. Of course I'll do a prayer of some sort.
I didn't get to do much of anything. But that is fine. I'll make up for it at Samhain. I can't wait. My favorite holiday.

I think that it is so awesome that Ghost Adventures went to Gettysburg.
Cool. Where did they go?

My big holiday is the Winter Solsitce, I can't wait! I'm don't know what all I'm doing yet but I want to plan something nice. For Samhain, I'm just going to do something small for the ancestors, like a prayer and candle lighting. Plus, I have to work so that doesn't help.

I haven't been posting much either. I'm currently in the process of redoing my personal space, remodeling my front porch and fixing my back stairs. Plus, I have a new front door to install and I've been running around the house checking all the cracks and insulation for the winter. Also, between all the housework I've been pulling crazy hours at my job. Honestly, a lot of my free online time I've been on KofK, they have an awesome Halloween event going on right now.
Although, at least I have been able to get a lot of spiritual reading and stuff in. That at least makes me feel really good to learn different things.

I think a lot of people have those moments. I have found that reading and meditation are the best ways to get past it and figure things out.

UP, I believe you misunderstood my ... " Spiritual happenings" post. It had nothing to do with the "other" stuff. IT had to do with the fact that i have two ... Equally. God and Goddess. I finally found my God... and i have my Goddess.

Yule will be fun this year. WE are not going to be celebrating "christmas" anymore. Plus Josh and I are going to be raising the kids pagan. Saddly I believe there much help for my son since he is christian.. The girls and any future child will be pagan. Thank the Gods!

That is pretty cool... My dad ( real dad) my sister ( my dad's other daughter) are going to gettysburg here soon to do some ghost hunting. W

Ah, yes, I knew that awhile ago.

A group of us are going on a paranormal investigation next Sat, can't wait. Of course we have to start early because of the time and year and because it is going to be an all day event. We are starting at Codorus Iron Furnace and then go to Gettysburg, of course. We are going to hit Little Round Top, the Angle and maybe the Wheatfield. Haven't really decided on the third spot yet, we want to test out areas we have not been to yet but I would like to go back to the Wheatfield.

I am just having one of those days where it's just a mess of good luck, bad luck. I got over time today, which almost never happens anymore and I lucked out being the one who's turn it was, and on the way to work I spilled half my coffee. Working day went by really fast and then I cut my finger. Get home to find the new door installed and the back stairs fixed and then I have to go home depot and spend $50 on a few things I needed for the house and to buy a new dead bolt. But it's better than the $70 the lock smith was going to charge. To top it off, for the entire day I've had the worst case of writer's block. I hope that changes by tomorrow so I can get some more of my book done. Although, when I'm not writing it gives me more time to meditate. But hopefully it isn't like this tomorrow, I have off and I'm going to sanding and painting the porches so I don't really want more good luck/bad luck.

So apparently, I'm getting a textbook on hieroglyphics for Christmas. I can't wait! I would love to learn how to read them. Although right now I'm having a hard enough time focusing on learning French, so it may take me some time to get even part way decent at it. Still very exciting!

i am but not in the way i used to be before. I feel like ive abandonned everything i once knew before and learned and i am litterally stuck. i feel like ive been wondering day to day aimlessly waiting for an answer. which i find quite odd. Ive got a lot of good in my life right now.

Interestingly enough i go to a chirstian church with my husband on sundays. But ifeel like i dont belong. i never really have. Now its a wonderful church and teaches a great message and i even tried to connect but i feel entirley empty when i try. i still go because its good for him, he is very firm in his belief and faith but sadly i cannot connect to it like he can. I re-read the introduction of one of my scott cunningham books. and by re-read i mean i didnt skip it like it did when i first read it. something spoke to me when i did. i felt like something just fit. it made sense, and i connected with the words.

It just kinda sucks to have that feeling of starting over, but i am older then i was when i stared to begin with. Complex concepts make more sense then they did when i was 15. I can feel a lot has changed in 10 years since i started on my path.

ive even gone so far to create a corner for medidation and i have a nice spot for an altar to worship and meditate. smile

wow typing that made me feel better (mentally, phyically im sick =P)

ill stop rambling now.

There is nothing wrong with rambling, and I think that it is great that you go to church with your husband. But I know whay you mean when you say you don't feel like you belong there. Sometimes things need time to work themselves out but you could always try meditation. I don't know what the area is like where you live but I'm goingto a Pagan meetup group where you can go and discuss spiritual ideas. The meetup is actually at a church and they meet once a month and they also do meditation seminars. Maybe it would help?
