"Aye, let's go," she echoed, straining her senses in the direction they were moving in to catch any hint of danger.

As they headed North, they saw many people whispering to each other, and pointing. News apparently spread fast around the city. They eventually entered the center of the city which was bustling full of outdoor vendors, and had open portals to some tourists spots, and other towns. The portal to Servist, had glowing liquid text saying: Out of order
In the sky was a large piece of floating landscape with a government building.

"Farkson, do you know anything of this place?" he indicated the towering structure ahead. "Emma's only letting me get a vague sense of her location."

Scribbler blinked up at the floating government building, peering at it as if she had myopia.
"She's in there?"
She tried to focus her eyes and see through the walls, drawing on a tiny strand of the power that Hrothbert had lent her. Unfortunately, the building was too far to get a lock.
There was a faint feeling that the enchantress was in there, though.

"Pfff nope, I didn't even know this place existed," He replied, and shrugged."I was never into the history of the normal world, what makes you think i'd memorize this world's history?"
He shrugged, and his ears went pink.

"If I had the time or energy I would be offended on behalf of history itself." he replied curtly. "In that case, we're going in blind."
He paused for a second, and a brief exertion of will conjured a cloaking spell over the three of them. "But not unprotected."

"Never unprotected."
A soft shimmer of ink hovered just under the cloaking spell in an attempt to shield against future attacks.
Scribbler unrolled a flying carpet from inside her book, settling down into it.
"Shall we?"

Scribbler chuckled despite herself, letting the conjuration hover with her still seated on it.
"This is not a normal carpet. Why don't we just survey from the sky? It'll be faster, and hopefully safer too."

"Survey from the sky?" He asked, and cocked his head."Sounds good to me, will we all be on carpets, or should we wait for ya down here?"
He hoped they didn't end up all going on one carpet. And secretly hoped he could keep his feet on the ground.

Silver and blue flickered again as the light wrapped itself around Hrothbert, consuming him and then receding. The falcon cocked its head, wings poised to take to the air.
