[Bai bai~ Lorika!]
The woman, whom the people had dubbed to be the Sentinel returned, turned her head toward the motion of a person approaching her. A brave young woman was walking into the middle of the path, and another person had approach her swathed in a heavy cloak. One seemed to be trying to stop the other, but it was the smug smile on the face of the first that had caught the dubbed Sentinel's attention.
The crowds shouts had subsided a bit; some of the watchers looked nervous, others looked as if they expected her to expunge some great and terrible wrath upon the two 'intruders.'
Feeling as if she was expected to sound cruel, the dubbed Sentinel sneered at the smugly-smiling one, "Is there something I can do for you, Inferior?"
Her tone was heavy with sarcasm, and from the corner of her eye she could see that several people were shifting with excitement. It made her contemplate what her namesake had sounded like. Was her voice the same? One of the onlookers appeared as if he may have just wet his pants...

Harata looked at her. "M'lady. You never called us your inferiors. You have appeared to change. Tell me, do you remember me? Who I am?" Her voice was quiet, yet carried. The murmurs began. She had seen the Sentinel before, had talked to her, and she had always remembered her name. Controlling, yes. Yet not this open swagger. Like a child, or an overconfident teenager. She also knew her voice was known. She knew she did not have much time. She was bound to be recognized soon. She did not know whether she could escape a second time.

 Evelyn
Evelyn heard Hatara’s words, but they didn’t register right.
The Sentinel—her voice. It was familiar. It was…it seemed so eerily similar to the Sentinel’s…but she was the Sentinel, wasn’t she? The hair…she recognized. But from where? She knew it from long before the was had started. But where?
“Oh, Sentinel! How fun! As if you don’t remember us. Oh, your majesty, you are the greatest!”
Where this had come from, Evelyn was not sure. But she said it—her tone so even and carefree, and it felt so real…

The dubbed Sentinel frowned. She seemed to have made a terrible slip-up. But, then, how was she to know that her namesake didn't call people inferior? She knew nothing about Her Infernal Majesty, save for what she saw in the mirror. She didn't even know why she was so revered. Fuming with herself inside, the dubbed Sentinel scowled at the two.
She couldn't make out the individual sentences that were carried by the murmurings. Whispers and humming seemed to erupt throughout, one person to another. Who they were mumbling about, she wasn't aware. Nonetheless, she flickered her eyes out over the crowd. A slight hush feel over them again.
"Pardon," she said, only barely audible. She wasn't sure that her namesake would even caught saying any word of excuse or apology. The dubbed Sentinel looked at the smug one, then gazed at the one who's face she couldn't see, contemplating their voices. The smug seemed familiar... but she was unable to place either of them.
"No," she told them both. "I do not remember." A scowl painted her lips and she started toward one of the less-crowded areas, hoping that the publicity and staring would not be so heavy. It felt as though the people of the town were trying to devour every inch of her with their eyes. Murmurs started again at her admittance. Doesn't remember? Does that mean she's forgotten everything? Is this for real??

((Evelyn skipped a whole scene with me x.x)) Kyo sat up in his bed and looked around. The last thing he remembered was smashing into a girl. He realized he had been taken back to the temple. Sheepishly, he rose out of his bed and fumbled around his robe, put it on, then walked out into the halls to see what was happening.

Harata followed the woman. "Then how are we to believe you are the real Sentinel. Do you even believe you are the real Sentinel?" She glanced at Eve, and hissed quickly. "Shut up. You will get yourself killed. That does not fit with us. We question. We are not carefree. I believe she needs to meet the Overseer. In his own territory. She is offensive, where he is defensive. But where?"

 Evelyn Evelyn laughed at the Sentinel, as if they were old chums, linking her arm through hers. “Oh, Nel, you and your jokes. Come now, we’re giving the common folk too much of a show.”
Evelyn still had no idea where all this confidence in her façade was coming from—but she certainly liked it. She pulled lightly at the Sentinel’s arm, urging her forward—away from the crowd.{{EDITTED now that tektek is working}}

Harata grabbed Eve. "Another thing. The Sentinel does not like to be touched with out invitation. You will be killed, if not by her, then by them." She motioned at the crowd. She winced. "Also, no pet names. She does not go for pet names." ((So I'm thinking, we get attacked by the crowd, we fight and escape with the Sentinel.))) ((You will get killed other wise.)) The dubbed Sentinel scowled at the cloaked woman. Of all the things she could bring up in a crowd like this, it had to be the question of whether or not she was the true Sentinel. Not only that, the one with the odd garb and smug attitude was tugging at her arm and making friendly-like as if they'd known each other for years. The girl's confidence set off an alarm in her head, to which she responded by slipping her arm free.
"Please refrain from touching me," she told the smug girl, then turned to the cloaked one. "I cannot say either way. The citizens of this town seem fixed on the fact that I must be the Sentinel. I have no proof that could lean the argument in any direction."
She winced at the nickname that had been bestowed upon her, then paused and strained to hear the cloaked woman's whispers to the smug girl. She couldn't really make out the words, but she seems to be reprimanding her for something. Careless of the details, she brushed the thoughts aside and continued until they had reached the front of a closed shop. She stopped there and watched over her shoulder as the crowd began to dissipate somewhat and people wandered toward their original destination.
She noticed, indirectly, that a very large group had gathered near the fountain and were watching their small congregation very carefully. "I would say that I feel we are being watched closely. It would be unwise to continue here." The mass of people looked ready to approach, and the dubbed Sentinel was getting tired of the cloaked woman's reprimanding the smug girl.
"If you would cease with the petty commentary on I may or may not 'go for'." The dubbed Sentinel scowled at the cloaked woman. "I believe I can assert my wishes for myself. I do not need someone on the side to tell a person what I like or dislike."
[Edit: Inu can do as she pleases with her posts. She sends them in PM of her own will so that it goes along with what the two of us planned ahead of time. Personally. Face-to-face. So, leave her choice to be as it may. /:
EditEdit: By the way, I like the 'attacked by crowd' idea. >_> so I kind of attempted to set it up a little. I'm not very good at crowd-combat... that and Her Infernal Likeness has no fighting skill atm... .____.]

Harata glared at her. "I was quite well known with the real Sentinel," she growled, "And why? They have spies every where. It is me they are going for, not you. They have already tried to kill me once already." She grinned sardonically. "Or rather, they will not be unsuccessful this time, Short of a miracle. They have recognize me. You have two choices; Pretend you have captured me, and turn me into them, or else run, and run now. You could always stay and fight, I suppose, but that would probably result in death for you to. Supposed Sentinel or not." (((It was meant to sound like a request. It bugs me, cause then the story is all planned between the two of you,and I don't really have a part. Also, NEKKED WEEK!!! Evelyn
Evelyn put on her angriest face and turned to the crowd. She knew with the hood casting shadows that she looked downright scary. Evelyn stormed forward from their congregation and pointed menacingly at the crowd. “Attention!” she shouted, her voice dark and livid. “If you do not wish for the Sentinel’s wrath to fall upon you, I suggest you disperse. NOW.”{{...I don't think I have very many "nekkid" clothes I can wear...I'll check... EDITTED now that TekTek is working.}}

[We're not very well planned out about it now, actually. She's making sure that her post is agreeable with mine. I happen to be a good judge of agreeable posts. :T]
The dubbed Sentinel glared back, her gaze dark and vicious. True Sentinel or no, she would not stand for anyone to take that tone with her. Had she been sure she was simply a look alike, she'd have flown the coup before things had escalated. But she wasn't sure, so she was going to have to stand there and show that, real or not, she wouldn't take her crap.
"Well known with the real Sentinel or not," Her Infernal Likeness began, "you don't seem to be able to say that my identity is a farce. I may not be sure, either, but that means nothing if I cannot remember anything."
She was suddenly cut short by the smug girl storming away from them. When the hooded girl started shouting at the crowd that had begun to move forward, the dubbed Sentinel had the feeling that she was only making things worse.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" shouted the Sentinel at the smug girl. She stormed forward and grabbed a hold of the blond braid that could barely be seen from beneath her hood. She tugged it backwards and began to circle the boutique and head for the arena. She beckoned the cloaked woman, and began to quicken her stride. "Don't be so stupid."
The Sentinel looked over her shoulder at the cloaked woman, whom she hoped was coming with them. "To where do you suggest we make our escape?"

Unfortunately, the crowd was not impressed. They turned on Eve. She was not that scary. Not compared to them, in any case. "Ya and whose army, toots?" jeered a man in that back. An ugly brute, tall and brawny, a skin head, with many many tattoos, including one on his forehead, which seemed to say, "Mom." "We ain't scared of no little girl." Sneered another, guffawing. "We must give her some credit," a female this time, heavily makeuped, and smoking a cigarette. "The girl's got guts. We must be certain to spread them nicely as we beat her. Dun want all that beauty to be wasted. Aye, little girlie?" Harata walked up to them, sighing. "Daniels, Carter, Ellana. How unlucky you are all still alive. I'm surprised you managed to survive." Daniels, the tattooed brute, looked at Harata. "'Ey. Look boys. I thought we told her she weren't welcome here anymore. I thought that nasty cut ya gave her, Ellana, would of been enough to keep her away. But, I suppose some people are just too stupid te live." Carter, the other main man, a rather weedy looking fellow, snapped a blade out of his pocket. "Aye. I agree wiff ya there, Daniels." Ellana pulled her sword out of its steath. "What's say I ruin yer pretty face, Hari girl? After all, you gave meh this." She rubbed the makeup off her face, revealing a long scar, across the whole of her face, just missing her left eye, and reaching the right end of her lips. "Time fer pay back, ye b-tch." Harata glanced at the possible deity. "No choice. We fight. You have any weapons you can use?" ((The dreges of humanity)) ((What have you got us into, Inu?))

 Evelyn
Evelyn frowned. Ellana woman was a b***h and was going to pay for her comment. Evelyn may have come off to the Order as butterflies and sunshine, but no one—save Panda—had seen her mad. And right now she was beyond that.“Listen, you tramp of an alleged woman, do you not realize who this is? This is the Sentinel!!! If you cannot get that through your thick-headed skull, it’s not my problem. So I suggest before you make even more of a b***h of yourself, you wanderback the whorehouse from whence you came.”Evelyn then turned back to the Sentinel, smirking, although someone shakily. “Your majesty, I know a marvelous place we can go.”{{Sorry, GrunGrun, but unless I distract them with a sphere of light, I got nothing.}}
