The fireman gawked and managed in his shock, "Who the Hell are you guys? Did you come from the building? And what are you kids wearing?" He turned and noticed Annie who was still carrying the box of kittens, "And what is in the box?"
"Cats," Annie said smiling, "I saved them from the fire: they were down in the basement hiding. They are really cute, do you want to adopt them?"
"Aw! Kitties?!" The reporter Cara Trent cooed running over, her cameraman following. She stuck a microphone towards them, "So, you ran into a burning building to save some cats and people. That is so sweet. What inspired you guys to do that?"
The firefighter glared at her and snapped, "Woman, the better question is how the Hell did you kids get in and out of there?"
"Um..." Annie blushed, "I- I..." Thinking quickly she took off a boot and flipped it over. Closing her eyes she let the ice change into acid and disolve the boot in her hand. As the acid approached her hand she changed it back into water, holding the almost decenegrated boot she said, "Like that..."
Cara Trent promptly swayed and fainted, hitting the ground with a light thud.

She was more concerned in watching the strange buildings giving their light show, she barely even realized that the man who had started the fire in the bar had walked right pass her. Lily quickly spun on her foot, seeing the back end of him. He was wearing a very strange looking backpack. It only caused her to alarm even more. People carried weapons in such things.
The small girl quickly jumped on her bike, following a safe distance behind the man, until she she saw him talking to a pretty little blond, knowing her luck he would most likely try to pick up on her. Why wouldn't he? He is a male after all. However she was just close enough to the Dashworth building now she could finally get ahold of her friends.
Hopefully that Annie girl won't try to murder me. she thought to herself as she sped on pass the blond and man with the back pack. She focused only on what was in front of her, and her mission. Finally she reached the burning building, that seemed as if it wouldn't be salvaged, regardless of how hard the fire fighters had worked, all in vain.
As Lily pulled her bike to a halt, she looked out, seeing not just 2 but four. There is two more other then Ako and Annie! she peiced together, captivated by the one with wings.. wait.. wings, are those wings!? suddenly she felt a ting of remorse for her, she didn't believe in angels, and the girl seemed to of been acting human. She had her 'gift' on the outside. It shown for the whole world to gawk at, but that was beside the point. Lily had something she needed to tell them.
"AKO!" she shouted, hoping her voice would be heard over the militia of the crowd, she quickly jumped off her bike and ran to the small group. Doubling over from the sprint. "I think I might know who is respon..." she breathed in and out again in a pant. "sable for all this! " she finally got out, at the same time catching her breath. "I saw him heading towards a restaurant with a blond. I can show you! He also tried to burn a man to death in a pub I go to. You might wanna hurry before he blows up the whole town!" she finished her entire message quickly, trying to stress the important parts, it was all to hard to explain, and not only that but she would have to remember she wasn't talking to normal people.
Then she happend to notice the kittens in Annie's hands, her eyes widen as she saw the little things, so young they didn't even have their eyes open! "Oh my gosh! They are soooo cute!" she said with a coo, gawking over the kittens, she had always been a sucker for animals.

Annie raised a brow dropping her mostly dissolved boot and slipped off her other boot, before handing Lily the box of cats, "Here, have them. I keep tryin' to pawn them off on people to no avail. I was beginnin' to think I ran into a burnin' building for nothin'."
She listened to herself and groaned inwardly as her accent thickened to a 'good ol' Southern hick.' She was a lot more stressed than she had thought. "Do you ever stop to think where you are before you open your mouth, Miss Stinson?" The girl irritated her to no end, maybe because she tended to get along with males better, or maybe the mere fact she was absolutely clueless about what they were going through. "Ako, you really know how to pick them. Did you have to tell Miss Stinson, 'oh I have special abilities'?"
The firefighter spoke up, "Who are you people?"
Annie rolled her eyes as she ignored him and said, "What does this man look like? I ran into a man coming here who had some really bad vibes..." Under her breath she muttered, "God, when it rains it really does pour..."

Shane is watching the news with more and more panic stirring up in his stomach. When he sees Annie melt the boot in front of a live audience, which caused the reporting correspondent to faint, he wishes he could reach into the television and slap her in the mouth. He knows he could never strike a woman, but that doesn't stop him from wishing he could. "No no no no NO. Damnit Annie, the world isn't ready for this yet." He flips open his PDA and dials the organizations eyes.
"Nayan, please tell me that you have something we can work with. It wont be long before things start going from warm to boiling. What do you mean he hasn't called back yet?
Gidget sits in a stool in the R&D section of the facility, swaying her feet impatiently. She was initially impressed at the operation that these people have. That glee soon turned to boredom when her brother told her to stay put and not touch anything. She complied after much whining and pouting (which didn't seem to do much to sway his decision).
She feels something in the back of her mind. That itch that happens when a brainstorm hits her. She looks up toward a secluded area of the lab. It''s sealed off by an enormous steel door. She hops off her stool and shuffles by the many people dressed in white lab coats. She scoots over to one the security panels on the walls and drags her finger across it without actually pressing any of the buttons. Soon a klaxon similar to what would be heard in Star Trek rings out through the facility. She quickly hides under a table as everyone evacuates the R&D labs. Once she is sure no one is around, she merrily skips toward the door marked "Valkyrie."
Shane impatiently waits for the klaxon to cease, curious as to what may have happened. He soon hears the last thing he wants to hear.
A large and angry voice bursts from his PDA. "MORRIS, that sister of yours has locked herself in the Valkyrie development lab. You get your a** down there and get her a** out of there!"
His face becomes an ivory sheets as he sprints toward the R&D labs. He knows what's in that section, and he has a good feeling on what Gidget plans on doing in there.
While everyone in the facility is doing what they can to get into the lab, Gidget is hard at work doing what she does best. Her face is almost manic as she works at an inhuman pace. Her power is in control now, and nothing is going to stop her from letting her creation come to life.

Lily looked at the box of kittens that was suddenly shoved in her arms. They looked cold and wet, meowing desperately to be taken somewhere warm, and to have something to eat, she made a side note to stop by the animal hospital to get something for them. Seeing they where so young, they would still have to be nursed. She smiled at the thought of raising four kittens by herself.
"Well, why did you save them just to pawn them off? And have you ever stopped to think that maybe I spoke so fast because- " she cut off her sentence as she looked around the small group, finally noticing the fire man.
Where in the world did he come from? she thought to herself, glad she didn't reveal to much information in her small rant. The man would most likely be more concerned with her reaction about the cats then some man she bumped into on the streets. She did mention he was in a pub, so she hoped the fire man would of just thought she was talking about a pervert responsible for something other then the fire. not too much to hope for. I hope. she sighed as she looked around.
"He was tall, like freakishly tall. His face looked young, but his hair was gray. He was pretty much a big guy, not big fat, but big big... And I think he was Irish." she shrugged as she looked up from the kittens. She was trying to hide her frustration, and all the while it didn't help that her phone was going crazy yet again. She was really going to get it from her mother this time. Especially now that she was most likely on the news. "I'll show you where he is" she said only low enough for Annie to hear her, "And we can talk more about what I was shown later. But for right now I think you should back away from eye sight" she said mainly looking at the girl with the wings.
She could hear the faint whispers and gawks around her, 'freaks' they where saying. 'demons' some where going on. They where being blamed for this fire, and another explotion that happened recently. She sighed as she looked at the small group, things where not looking good, the public wasn't ready for them yet.

The restaurant was a quaint little in-town bar and grill, serving up excellent sea food and even better daquiri's. The inside was dimly lit, the tables widely spaced, leaving the clean wood finished bar the centerpiece of the room. Lev held the seat first for Daisy before seating himself at, where else, the bar. The place wasn't bustling, and the bartender stared idly off in the distance behind the built-in grill. The old fellow, bless his soul, finally noticed customers had trundled in, himself suddenly red faced and bustling over, his legs bow legged and awkward. "What'll it be what'll it be?" He asked with a wide toothless smile. Lev grinned, looking down at the small menu. "One Black Russian and a seafood platter.." Lev gave his kind grin as he set his backpack next to his feet, giving a wink to Daisy, "Anything she orders is on me."

Annie's eyes widened and she nodded as she ignored the question about the cats- she saved them because she didn't think before she acted at time. Turning her gaze unto the crowd, she realized she was an idiot, really she was. Of all the powers to expose to the world she thought to expose her's- the least benign power. "That sounds like him" muttered Annie under her breath, "So, um... guys? Any ideas here? Bein' burnt at the stake is not my idea of fun..."
All the while Annie was kicking herself for her rash decision. Didn't she know things would end up like this?
"I'll take an Irish coffee and a salad," Daisy said smiling. "And, I'll pick up my own tab." Turning her gaze to Lev she said calmly, "I don't believe in having my order paid by a man I barely know. And, it looks like I am in better shape financially than you are- no offense of course."
Batting her blue eyes at him she said, "So, sir, you know what I do for a living: what is it that you do?"

Garret knew this wouldn't work out right. He cut off his power and it strarted to rain again. He sighed and pushed past the others and approached the Fireman. "It doesn't matter who we are. Matter of fact, we're nobodys, with cheap tricks and costumes. Trying to promote our acting school. By the way, it's called Acting Angels!" He touched Tansy's wing, trying to convince the people it was just a well done costume. "WHat matters most, is what caused this disaster. Would you tell us what you know?" He said to the fireman, trying his best not to let his voice crack because he was nervous. He tried to act fast, because he knew they wouldn't forget about Annies show quickly, and he had to get their minds off of them.

Trinity observed Annie's ability to melt her boot. She also observed how some brunet was able to push the reporters aside and talked to them. Trinity wished was as bold but simply watched as she talked to her about the kittens. Then notice that she changed the volume of her voice. Trinity would normally be able to hear it all with her pointy ears. But her ears were covered by her hoody and only caught the word bar from the the low voiced conversation. I suppose they are planning to celebrate after the party...
Her attention was drawn to the hail... it became water again an an instant. The timing was rather odd just like earlier, a dramatic shift in weather change wouldn't be so fast and abrupt. Her attention was drawn by the guy who spoke of their group called "Acting Angels". Trinity looks down although impressed that their technology could pull off such things it wasn't the answer she was hoping for. At the mention of acting she sighed to herself and wished she could go back to play practice, yet since she was hit by the meteor, she felt after school activities were out of the question.
There was no mention of meteors so she decided not to stay any longer and in a rush she turns her bike but falls in the process. Falls into her shadow like she was falling into a hole and continues to fall from the ceiling landing in front of Daisy and Lev then falling of the bar table landing on her back. Amazingly it didn't hurt as much as she thought it would.
She now realized, those "dreams of darkness" were not dreams after all. This finally happened while she wasn't asleep or taking a nap. Now her hair was soaking with alcohol, geez this will put my parents at ease... coming home smelling like a bar.
She snaps out of her thoughts and immediately gets up, and dusts herself off, she looks to the people she interupted. The guy looks really intimidating and scary and the blonde who seemed to be the opposite, beautiful and much less intimidating. Trinity bows and bangs her head on the bar tables edge and rubs it a little but continues "I'm so sorry for interrupting.... you... I honestly don't know how this happened " sweatdrop

Daisy smiled wickedly, thinking to herself that she had known pairing up with the tall man would be fruitful. She always was right about things like this. As she smiled she said calmly standing, "Don't lie. It is unbecoming for someone at such a young age. I can sniff out a lie a mile away and you reek of it along with our drinks..."
Crossing her arms the reporter continued, "You have at least an idea on how you ended up here, so why don't you be frank and come out and tell us. As I wasn't able to appreciate my drink and don't have the benefit of the alcohol, I don't have the patience to deal with some school girl's lies."
"Tell the truth and I will pay the bill for the destruction of the property you made and not call the cops, which I can do quite easily for a number of reasons," Daisy said. She had become businesslike and cold in a matter of seconds- this was the Daisy Sun who made the police commissioner cry in front of the entire city on live broadcasting, after all.

Trinity found she had severely underestimated Daisy, and swallowed hard. She had to choose her words carefully, she had never even been sent to detention before and she dared not want to be taken in by the cops. Her parent would probably find that even worse then coming home reeking of alcohol.
She looks up to them and said, "You are right on some degree, but I wasn't sure if you'd believe me if I told you 'I fell from the ceiling' and obviously there's nothing else up there aside from it. Yes that's how, shall we say I entered the bar. When I said, what I said, what I meant was that I don't know what triggered it, the "how it happened" to begin with to cause said terrible and clumsy entrance. That's what I meant." she hoped that, that was a good enough response to her request.
Her green eyes begin to glow from how afraid she was. The fear was all over her face.

Tansy rolled her eyes somewhat. She wasn't sure what was really going on around her, for her head was somewhere else for the moment. She blinked rapidly before she looked to Garret who touched her. She tilted her head to the side. 'Costumes Garret, really?' She sighed softly. "They are right, who we are isn't as important as finding out what, or who, started this fire. We have our thoughts on the subject, in fact, we should go now. As stated, we have scanned the building over, and no one is left inside. From the way the building looks, I doubt there is any point to save what is left. They would have to tear it down anyways." She shrugged somewhat. "Come on guys.. We need to get going." She nodded to the fireman. "And tell the reporter we're sorry we scarred her."

Lev smiled, only raising his eye at her sarcasm, but it was all in good fun. Until the girl fell through the ceiling. Lev didn't make a sound, only stood immediately, static noticeably running along his knuckles. Lev listened to Daisy scald this girl, then took his own eyes upon the situation. "Let's not go throwing conclusions at random strangers.." Lev tried to reassure Daisy. "And if you didn't notice, she just fell through a hole that ain't there!" Lev threw his finger to point above him, his eye's wide. Lev was excited.

Daisy crossed her arms and rolled her eyes as Lev told her to give the girl a break. "Sir, I'm a natural at telling lies, they have a special scent and feel to them, just like trouble and excitement: which you reek of. Such as your fake name... did you not think I would pick up on it."
She pushed some of her yellow-y blonde hair behind her ear and smiled as she continued, her gaze turning to the purple haired girl, "And yes, I did notice she fell through a hole that wasn't there."
Smiling- a smile that almost looked like kindness- she took the girl's chin in her hand and leaned down to meet the girl's unnatural green eyes with her own bright blue eyes. "Half truths. How adorable. Don't worry, I'm not your mother. I'm just an observant individual. Such as that purple hair- it is either really remarkable dye or natural. I dyed my hair purple in college once- it never stayed. I'm merely curious, won't you tell a concerned woman the truth?"

Trinity's spine shivered as the man spoke. Strangely enough it seemed he was telling the reporter to back off a bit. Her butterflies in her stomach continued to flutter as Daisy had her by her chin. She really did not want to tell this reporter about the meteor that hit her a while back, "I'm... I'm not telling it's my s-s-secret." she really wanted to go. She really wished she didn't land here. She really wished she was back in the library doing more research instead of this bar. She did not want to resort to the strength she had gained from the meteor incident which would cause the reporter to question her further.
The bar tender comes by, "Sir could you and your lady friend take this outside or let her go? I'll replace your drinks on the house if you just let the kid go. It's making the other customers uneasy."
