She felt the vibrations rather subtley, but it was a very amiable energy that resonated within her own veins...the Tainted!
She found them, but it wasn't as strong as it was varying a couple of city blocks away. Arjana searched in her memory and it hit her like a lightning bolt!
The apartments! Yes, of course, the apartments!
Immediately Arjana lept over the next building with excitement, and so swiftly she was but a fleeting shadow in the night.

Bridget made it to the where the Brown Stone had stood..she looked at it and a single red tear ran down her right cheek. Bridget then climbed down
into the rubble to a certain wall and found the stone section that moved away revealling a scanner and she placed her left hand on it and the scanner thrrrrummmed and the wallmoved back and a stairway was revealled. Bridget went down the stairs as the wall door closed behind her.
A second device second device was the retinal scan was next and it verified and the second door; titanium alloyopened and let Bridget enter the 'Bunker'
The bunker was a hard point to which Sanchez and her could fall back to.
There were weapons, rations, water....cots and a shower to which Bridget took use of. After the shower Bridget dried herself off and put on her loose fitting clothes...pissed that those bastards had taken other things that had
been hers. She out two Glocs 9r mm out of storage and loaded up clips with four clips being totally AP. Grabbed a double shoulder holster and put the Glocs in it. She then put on a Duster but no hat...she would have to take care of that. When she was done Bridget almost felt at home and whole but deep down she knew wasn't true.
She made her way up the rubble after securing the bunker and sttarted to walk towards the city. Hopefully she might catch a taxi but out here Bridget doubted it.

The Vampire did her best to direct the landing out of sight from hunters, mortals, or any form of light. In her anguish, Fate managed to crash Kreigor and herself near an alley two apartment complexes down from her own.
To her despair, Fate could sense a hunter somewhere nearby. Kreigor, we need to go.. She just had to put that into words; "Kr..or..i..o.." Fate couldn't speak. All that escaped her throat were weary, droned gurgles. Stand, take his hand and run to safety. She couldn't move. What's going on? Fate panicked in her mind, her eyes widened, pupils grew. Kreigor..I can't..move.. She didn't even have the energy to put that into a telepathic thought!
This is bad.. Just lie there. Fate screamed mentally, uncomfortable with and unaccostomed to being vunerable and weak.

Kichiro had benn wandering around this area after his incident whe he heard a crash from a nearby alley

Kreigor sense Fate's anxiety and pulled out a flask from his belt, consuming most of the blood from it to help his regeneration. Once enough energy had returned to him, he took off his jacket and wrapped it around Fate as he helped her to her feet. When kreigor heard that moving was a problem, he lifted her weakly off the ground, straining himself in his weakened state. "Come on.....we need a way to get home without trouble..." he said softly as he thought hard about it.

On the sidewalk, Fate heard a pedestrian with obvious nerves. She could smell them. She wanted them. This provided enough motivation to allow her legs to move. The hunt..how she desired a drink. The blood on Kreigor's tongue was enough to drive her mad in this state.
Fate leaned into Kreigor as they wearily made their way to her apartment building. So..cold.. It's not that far now. I'm famished. Regain your strength. Don't get carried away. Fate's legs carried her stiffly, as if they would freeze and buckle at any moment. Miraculously, she kept pace with her companion.

Kreigor was surprised that Fate could even stand in her state, then he realized what could drive her to it. oh boy.....feeding time he thought as he continued out of the alley.

mortebella666 Serenity wasn't very good with wood work, let alone a hammer, so she kept hitting her fingers when trying to hit the nails. She kept back from saying ow, her normal response to anything, so as to not let Asmodeous see. She nodded her head when he left to go fix the stairs, and continued with her work. They were more than half way done. By the time he returned, she was placing the last peice of wood in. "So what now?" asked Asmodeous.

Fate shivered, her entire fragile body trembling.
Finally, the two of them were at the complex stoop. It's about time! Fate's eager shimmered in her weak, dancing eyes. She waited patiently for Kreigor to open the door. Thank goodness for being on the first floor.

Kreigor heard the lycan's question and waved him off. "Be careful pup....don't get yourself caught out here" he said before opening the door for Fate and led her towards her apartment.

Fate scuffled in beside Kreigor. The lobby was mild, better than the outdoors..or the water, for that matter.
As the two made it down the hall, the manager examined their soaked bodies.
"I'll have the heat in your room, straight away, ma'am."
All Fate could do was nod as the man hurried into the far control room. That was nice..How unusual. Shrugging it off, she leaned into Kreigor again, all the time making sure he hadn't left her. His coat slowly slipped down to her arms, and she shyly held it up.

Kreigor Nodded to the manager in thanks as he walked with Fate, wrapping his arm around her as his hand rested upon her upper arm, warming it to the touch as they made their way over to their apartment.
