Honestly, the planet itself is going to have a massive Force presence that I deduced was going to be masked by the Black holes round it. Now I have to find another way to do that.
I've also been toying with the idea of a length of plains and lakes on the planet is home to massive ship graveyard, similar to the disruptor field on Lehon. Another mystical touch for the planet. But I dunno, its all still on the drawing board.

Thus far there was just the one black hole.

That's what I thought. I liked the idea of the one super giant black hole

EK, if your pirate base is gonna be near this ********, just make sure you're not somewhere over it. The Radiation shooting out of "The Pit" as I'd like to call it, would be enough to fry a Star Destroyer's shields and kill all life aboard it. That Radiation stream shoots out for an incredible distance. For more on this fascinatingly lethal phenomena, ask Stellar. He was my Igor in the creation of this monster.

That's right a polar orbit is out of the question. When a super-massive black hole is feeding on material it generates a pair of radiation jets which emanate from its north and south poles. Considering the size of this black hole these jets could reach distances of thousands of light years.
I recently saw images of the x-ray jet of a super-massive black hole that was in the center of a nearby galaxy. The jets actually exceeded the radius of the galaxy itself.

That was when I was under the impression that there would be multiple holes.
What other kind of anomaly would be able to block a planets Force presence?

Nebulae, Yslamirri, active force users concealing their location, take your pick. For the record though, Des, Planets themselves have no presence in the Force. Its the life on them that counts.

Its the life on them that counts. Well yes, the planet itself is not it, but that which is apart of the planet, but it kinds of makes it stand out. Hmmm.....Nebulae eh...?

If the force presence of whatever relic you're hiding is blocked, I find it highly incredulous that any force user would be going to the planet, as they'd probably ignore it just as much as anyone else. Nothing of interest there.

Nothing of interest there. Okay. Your a Jedi. However, you cannot feel it, your telepathic link to the Force is screaming at your mind that something is there. You just dont know what or where it is. Only the closer you get, the louder.

That begs the question of why Palpantine's army of darksiders havent located it yet. Especially if its potent enough to send telepathic screams across lightyears or at least affect the Force enough to make your spidey sense go off.

More importantly, if the force is screaming at you that it's there, it's not really "blocked" from the force, is it? This isn't like the jedi library where scientific facts are blocked. By blocking it from the force, it wouldn't be hinted to any jedi anyway.
