The wind currents about the island seemed pretty fair and made for flying easy. "Hm..." Her eyes overlooked the rocks meshing into the jungle, and then jungle transitioning into human fesitivities. "Is this was he was talking about?" Violet angled her wings to allow for an easy coasting back to the ground where she could get a better look. "Is this a survival test?" Looking around while entering the main blend of crowds, she could see many strange and overdone creatures. "This can't be real..." Her interrogating eyes brought her to and fro throughout the place, till instead her nose took it's turn. A strong wiff of assorted foods carried directly to her. In grabbing her stomach to silence it's rumble, she casually followed it's tease. While there, she saw another person with wings, a pair of more fairy translucent set, but wings all the same. Without much intentional thought, Violet had approuched the person ((Tomeko)) to tug on their wings, only to find them fake. "What kind of cruel joke is this?"

(There is a lot going on right now. It's getting a bit complicated, so I ask that anyone who needs me to rp an npc for them or something that they ask me. Otherwise, it is just M eating a delicious cheeseburger in the resort. There are enough of you getting into trouble that you can post for your own npc's.)

The stones had stopped humming. Everything was silent in Leeloo's cell. The guards were irritated by that fact and kept looking in, as if to check if the thing was still there. They had to admit it was incredibly attractive with it's long legs and lovely face. But they looked away and stood at the opposite wall with a glassy look that only guards could manage.

Kurai flinched. Someone had died and she had felt it. Curse herself for being in tune with people. She shuddered at the intense feeling of Death creeping over before slipping toward the compound. The Death... she wasn't sure if she'd felt it here, or if it was elsewhere. Either way-
Aha!
Moving swiftly and quietly, careful to avoid turning over stones or stepping on branches and twigs, she moved toward the back. The guards she'd been watching where now walking away and she had approximately two minutes before the other one, opposite to the guard walking away, made his way to her. She'd eyed the workings of this air vent.
With the little bit of telekinetic power she had, she was able to remove the screws, remove the panel and slip in, in under those two minutes. She pulled the grate up and held it, holding her breath. The guard passed her, paused and then turned.
She let out a breath when he was gone and reached through to loosely srew in the bolts. They'd hold it on for now, but with a swift kick, if need be, she'd be able to get out easily. Then, turning around, she began to crawl through the air ducts, long hair trailing behind her.
Kurai searched for those lifeforms that were in pain.
(=x I forgot to mention that, Mr. Dungeon Master surprised She can feel life :/ It's been so long since I've actually rped her >.o)

Leeloo breathed slowly. The metallic thunks of the men's boots echoed in her skull. She heard noises, but ignored them. Her eye lids twitched a little and she opened her forget-me-not blue eyes. She instantly closed them because it seemed rather light in her cell. She ignored that fact and continued her usual routine. Lying there, breathing and doing nothing. She wanted to go home.

(It isn't obvious that Leeloo isn't human, so realistically, the guards would assume she is dead by now wouldn't they and leave her alone? Kiba still had bindings on him, so he shouldn't be moving around freely until he releases himself.)
M had just finished his sandwich when suddenly bursts of gunfire could be heard from the nearby port. There was mass confusion and panic among the festival goers. Masked and costumed people ran and stampeded to get indoors. The sudden violence that erupted was too quick for M to anticipate and was squished into a hat store against his will. ".....Sabine.....Tomeko.....is this usual festival behavior?....." M thought, having enjoyed himself up to that point.

Kiba cut the bindings off with his claws and now Kiba stood up and walked to his cot and sat leaning against the wall. I guesse ill stay here for awhile. Kiba's ears twitched. It seems somethimg exciting is about to happen. Kiba thought with a smile.

Tomeko shook her head, looking around in confusion. "No. This isn't. At least, not that I'm aware of." She looked up in the sky. "It's too light for fireworks so it can't be that."

Probing the human minds for clues as to what was happening, M found a lot of pain and fear. He also noticed thoughts that suddenly disappeared. Death. Something was wrong. Something was disturbing M's happiness. M did not like this. He despised it and decided to do all he could to bring back what he lost. The sound and source of the distress had come from the pier. That was where he would go. Pushing his way out of the store and back into the quickly emptying street, the elven vampire moved towards the docking area. Police in squad cars cruised the streets assuring the vacationers through megaphones that everything would be all right, and that they should remain indoors. They did not see the lone figure taking the back alleyways towards the water. From the beach M could make out a gun fight. Police were firing upon men in various garb who fired back. While some of the men were firing at law enforcement, the others were raiding the wooden catwalks for what loot there was to have and loaded it aboard their boat. The police did not have the man power at the moment to properly deal with the situation and they were losing. M could see bodies laying haphazardly in various locations. It would be some time before reinforcements arrived from the military and police station. M stood a watched for some time, wondering how best he could help.

Koji was working his way through the jungle, pushing through the underbrush instead of hacking his way like most would. He' considered burning himself a path, but figured that would cause more harm than good. He felt he was near the harbor area, and he was confident that he would get there soon. The sound of gunfire made him stop in his tracks. It took his mind a second to register that no one knew where he was. It wasn't aimed at him.
Koji hesitated. He knew with his heightened abilities that he could easily help those involved in the gunfight. He just wasn't sure he should. Which side would be the right one? Out of instinct, he took off towards the sounds of the firefight. He emerged from the jungle and saw the dock ablaze with guns and police flashers. He didn't know what compelled him, but he ran towards the nearest cruiser, though he saw its occupants were dead. He ducked down by the passenger door and started scavenging weapons and ammo. For some reason he felt compelled to actually work with the authorities. He came up with a pistol in each hand and dashed for the boat, firing at and hitting a few of the remaining attackers.

Wonderful! There WAS someone here... Two someone's to be in fact. A wolfish creature and a girl. She wasn't dead, but the guards seemed to think so. Kurai watched them for a moment before attempting to seep into the mind of one.
Naturally, they were weak-willed and soon she managed to have this one fall asleep. So out of the blue, a guard fell to the ground as if he'd fainted. Kurai smiled. If the others that were trapped watched this, they might notice it a bit strange. Another guard came in and soon he called for one more and the two of them carried the unconscious guard out.
"Finally," Kurai huffed, pulling the grate up and to the side. She fell to the ground, landing on her feet elegantly and quietly. She fixed her green clothing and spun on her heal to the animal-like figure, silver hair spinning in the green wrap.
"Your name?" she asked Kiba directly.

Koji's reckless behavior put him in the crossfire of the police and pirates. In the chaos of the moment, a few of the officers mistook him for another pirate and actually targeted him. The pirates, noticing they had another enemy, targeted Koji as well. Koji's assault did make the pirates go on a fast retreat though. Most were in their boat and preparing for a quick take off, while the stragglers fired behind them while running. M recognized Koji for what he was. His brain waves were different than a human's.

Sabine didn't hurry to follow M, nor was she particularly worried about the commotion at the port. She was thoroughly enjoying some kind of sweet, cold cream she'd received from one of the humans at the carts, and she wasn't about to hurry herself through it. When she did finish, she looked around her at the now-nearly-empty streets and decided to go find out what was going on. She walked in the direction of the pier, where gunshots could still be heard and where she'd seen M slip off to a few minutes ago. It wasn't long until she could see some of the fight; it seemed that some of the men were attempting to take goods from the island, and others - law enforcement, by their uniforms - were trying to stop them. a simple enough situation. Sabine stopped a few yards behind the last officer and watched just for a moment.
