The noble nodded, squeezing the little girl lightly. He patted her head in a brotherly way. He didn't know what else to say since he was in the same boat as her, but he knew her pain and a little all too well. He pulled away for a moment. "Amara, know this. Your not alone.."

((Aaah brain dead))

Amara looked up at Ephraim and nodded slowly. "... I know." She grinned happily and proceeded to tackle Ephraim to the ground, as if she wasn't even sad a moment ago. She then clinged to him tightly. "Yaaaay~"

(( ... Pfft. xD This post is fail. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? IT'S CUTE, SO THAT MEANS IT'S OKAY. 8D

If Ephraim was balanced before,he wasn't now. That tackle Amara had just given caught him off guard and he landed on the ground. He couldn't help but smile at how energetic this child can still be.

(( psh, my post fails too but yours is cute XD! ))

"Always glad to help Ed."

Bartre looked over to where Amara and Ephrain were, recognizing Ephraim because of meeting him sometime before, then saw her tackle him, and Bartre chuckled. "Looks like it is poor Ephraim. Did you see what just happened to him? Taht girl was sad, yet then she got cheery and tackled him. Must be good to have sisters or brothers, or something like that."

Amelia stepped out of the armory after a few minutes, flexing her fingers in her gloves. With her increase in power came training with heavier armor, and now, along with the hip guards, breastplate, and shoulderguards, she now wore a pair of red metal gauntlets with greaves strapped to her shins. She still wore the white skirt under her metallic 'belt,' but now had on a pair of thick grey leggings underneath, both to protect the skin of her legs from the greaves, but also for practicality. She wore long gloves, the brown fabric peeping out from under the red gauntlets on her fingers and palms. She had a Killer Lance strapped to her back, angled so as to allow quick and easy access, and a Javelin in her hand.

"Let's get going," she suggested to Kishuna, smiling just slightly. "We ought to hurry."

Amara giggled. "You're silly, big brother Ephie~" She stood up again and hopped around energetically, the previous feelings pushed completely out of her sight and mind. Somehow, the thought of him being a prince was pushed out of her mind completely as well; to her, Ephraim was now like an older brother figure. He was kind to her, as well as similar in some ways to her, just like a brother. And, well, since he was way older than her, he couldn't be a little brother...

Rhys waited in the living room, stretching lightly. He'd never been one for heavy armor--with his body, he couldn't wear much more than the thin white robes, with the heavier, padded sky-blue ones underneath. Even if he could, magicians rarely wore heavy armor--the layers of steel often shut off or at least restricted the flow of magic to and from the caster. It was heavy and often distracting, meaning that one had less room for magicial energies. Generals did just fine in that stuff, but spellcasters needed the concentration.

Clunk. Clunk. Clunk. Clunk.

Hearing the noise of plate armor moving, he turned to look downstairs and let out a low whistle as Amelia moved upstairs. It was a whistle that suggested Rhys was impressed--since becoming a General, she'd really thought things through on her armor. The only thing missing was a second weapon... a Javelin and a Killer Lance did wonders, sure, but she just seemed to lack that second weapon type other Generals had. But, no sense in worrying about that now.

"Err... if you two don't mind, I'd like to tag along. We're out to find Rei, right? Then I want to help get him back," Rhys said, leaning a bit on the Physic in his left hand.

Amelia looked over to Rhys as she heard his voice, seeing him leaning his weight on a Physic staff. A warm smile spread across her face, and she nodded. "Of course. We can't underestimate any of them, and having you along would certainly help me feel better about things." Amelia brushed a hand away from her bangs. Would it be worth it to cut her bangs shorter? Good question. "It's a good idea to have a healer handy, too. You being right there kind of saved my life the first time, so I don't want to risk things."

"Oh now I"m silly eh?" he joked, getting up on his feet before he picked Amara off from the ground and tossed her up in the air a couple feet and catching her. He eventually sat her on his shoulder and nodded "Welp, looks like your officially taller then me, Gee I wonder what your mother would say once she sees how tall you've gotten" joking around with the girl once more.

Its been a while since Ephraim acted like a big brother to anybody. Since Eirika was his twin, it was more of a mature way then toward a child. Myrrh was twice his age not to mention a Manakete but he still treated her as a younger sister. This was like having another family and it made him happy to know he could play the older brother role once more.

Arashe walked further into the group in the center of the room, an arrogant tone in his voice. "'Ey, kiddies, don't go running off too soon! We're not all ready yet, and we'll need to be prepared as we can get. We can't expect Lady Ayra to do all the gruntwork with that bird, can we?" He showed his bow to Amelia and Rhys, making sure that they knew what it was. "This thing's a Hero's Bow. It's extremely fast, to the point of letting me get in many attacks before the foe can even get in one. The only problem? We'll need to keep that bird in one spot for long enough."

Amelia stared at Arashe. When did he suddenly go pre-menstrual? She held up her Javelin for Arashe to see, her face level. "This here is a Javelin. It's able to attack people from a distance, so I can attack from the same distances you can. The only problem? Well, actually, it's not a problem, because I can use this short-range, too." She ran a hand across her bangs, flicking them away from her eyes. "I realize we have to keep Tibarn in one place, but the best way to do that would be if he was in melee combat. Aerial combat would mean too much movement in the air, and that'd make your shot too obstructed. Get something that'll make him dive, or maybe try to get him near the ground to attack a melee fighter. Someone with serious defense. While he's busy with that, you wait for an opening and then fire. And if he was closer to the ground, there'd be less worry of him getting damaged in a fall."

"Which is wear I come in at," Ashnard stated in a matter-of-fact tone of voice, "The King of Hawks knows I'm racist towards his filthy 'race' and will attack me upon seeing or hearing me. Especially if I use the 'S-H' words." It seemed kind of hard to tell if the king really was mad, or there was some strategy behind this madness.

(( Too lazy to swap accounts~ ))

Arashe looked at the small girl, surprised she'd spoken up. "Pretty vocal, aren't you? But, we'll not be able to subdue him unless we have arrows. And I don't see you with a bow, so maybe your armor could distract him? But you're pretty small. He might knock you off of your feet in one blow..."

He looked over at Ashnard, confused at his manner of speaking. "You sound like a little child." He started mocking the fallen king. "The 'S-H' words~ ...pathetic." He snapped back to hid typical demeanor, and continued addressing Ashnard. "And if you know the hawk king, and you dislike each other, then why sugarcoat your speech, especially if you know something we can use to distract him?"

"Who said anything about any Hawk?" Rhys asked, a bit irritated. "I gathered that Amelia, myself, and, ummm..."

He wasn't sure who the newcomer was.

"...Some Other Guy are going after Rei. We're not ALL going to take on Tibarn at the same time. Really, I believe the ones who go to confront him ought to be up to Ayra's judgment. Tibarn is AYRA'S husband, after all."

Amara squealed, giggling joyfully as she was tossed around and then placed on Ephraim's shoulder. "I'm so tall!~" She exclaimed, her arms stretched up to the ceiling. "Mommy will gasp! Like this!" She placed her hands over her mouth, gasping in an overly-dramatic manner.
