Mimi blinked, taking in the memories as he thought of them. She felt sorry for him. She now understood a little bit more, and that changed her view. But only slightly. "That doesn't explain why the soliders have been ordered to kill the eternal eye babies if they find them in homes." She said to Annexus. She still did not trust him. Not one bit.

Annexus looked at Mimi. You saw what I did in service of my master. If I have to kill every one of you to protect this world, than so be it. It does not mean that I do not do it without regret. A Warriors curse is to remember every face of every person that I kill.

Mimi sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Hear him out guys." She said to them. She narrowed her eyes though. "One false move though and this here" She held up her scythe, "Will slice you to pieces." She was defiantly not someone you wanted to mess with.

Varnis made his way over to the group after he heard the little speech he had made. Showing that he meant no harm to either one, the King's side, or the Eternal Eye's side, he spoke. "You may believe you are doing the right thing but..." He was silent for a moment, and looked at the Eternal eyes group then back to the king. "... the people here believe they are doing the right thing fighting for what they believe in."

"Then they are misguided." Annexus shook his head. "No one can ever know what they are doing unless they have all of the information."
Annexus frowned. "What you don't know . . . can hurt you . . . and ever other person living on this world."

((Tee hee! ^^ I'm so happy. I never thought Eternal Eyes would come this far. It's just so... shocking to see it last longer than most of my other role plays. I didn't think it was such a good idea, but apparently I was wrong. Thank you all for helping me get Eternal Eyes this far. ^^))
I'm surprised he even asked, Hiro thought. "You already know my answer," he said.
"I'm standing by Hiro," Mina said. She saw another boy walk up to the group. It was the boy she had passed on her way here, the arena. He had crimson eyes.
"You are the misguided one, Annexus. You are ruling these people by fear. You call yourself 'good?'" Hiro said.

Annexus narrowed his eyes. "Fear? It seems the people fear you more than I. You remember their reactions to you? Do you think that was fear of me?"
Annexus shook his head, "To those people out there, you are the enemy, not I. The people fear what they do not know, they do not understand your powers, the rare ones are the ones who do not."
Annexus stood from the wall. "But if that is your answer, I will not stop you from leaving now, but know that you will be hunted. Your 'Master' will call for you, and if you answer that call, I will hunt you all the harder. If you refuse him, he will be much more successful in killing you than I, and show you none of the mercy that I have."
