Skiaska sighed deeply before cautiously entering the Infirmary. She wasn't in Lydia's sight range, so she made a point of scuffing her feet slightly against the floor as she walked. Coming to the side of the new mother, she smiled tiredly. "Hey, Lyds..." Kissing the younger girl's forehead, she smiled brightly at the newest family member.
"Hey there, little one." Looking back at Lydia, she shared a true smile with her. "She's beautiful. Not that I had doubts for a minute." Winking at Will, she continued. "I'm sorry... I realize I over-reacted to me not... being there. But... I also realize that I love you. You're like a daughter to me, but also, you're my best friend. I will stick by you in all times, and protect my family."
Looking at the baby girl again, Ski let a bit of amusement creep into her voice. "Have you named her yet?"

Lydia was obiously worried when Krii'Ouse just up and left. She thought that the birth of a baby was supposed to be a happy occasion, and any tears that were shed were supposed to be happy. Krii'Ouse was very obviously not happy. Kerrigan, why is Krii'Ouse unhappy? I thought he was happy that my baby was born hale and healthy. Is he upset because you and he cannot have children and that my child only reminds him of that fact? The psychic thought to her vampric friend, worry prevelant in her thoughts. Lydia did not know Krii'Ouse that well, but he was still a friend.
The sound of scuffing feet made her turn her head as Skiaska came into view. Comforted as Skiaska kissed her forehead, Lydia was overjoyed that Skiaska had come back. "It is okay that you are not there all the time. What matters is that you are my best friend too, you and Kerrigan both, and that I love you too. But no, I have not picked a name. I do not know of any names to pick from. It was hard enough as it was to pick my own name."
"Regardless of names, I do think that a certain someone is hungry and would like to be fed." Gail piped up, noting on how the little baby girl was fussing and crying still. "You should probably try breast feeding her. Would you like everyone to get out of the room?"
"Why would I want everyone out of the room?" It was obvious that Lydia still did not quite grasp the concept of modesty.

Skiaska barely held back the burst of laughter at Lydia's innocent question with a deep cough. Modesty was lost on her. "It is generally believed that a woman should not leave ceratin assests for all the world to see, other than her husband. By BREAST feeding your child, you would have to take off your shirt. As said before, it is generally believed that a woman should not expose certain areas to the public. We call this modesty." A faint blush came over her face, but a smirk was set deeply in her lips. Lydia sometimes reminded her of a small child. She's adorable... Ski finally spoke again. "You and Will should talk of names you would like for her. Oh, by the way... All names have meanings."
"Will's name actually means 'determined protector'. My name means..." Skiaska paused for a moment before deciding. "My name means 'lady of the night'. Your name, Lydia... I'm not quite sure. There are thousands of names that this child could have." With a gentle smile, she began to leave. "I'll give you privacy to feed your child." Stepping into the hall and closing the door, she waited.

"But why only certain areas? Skin is skin, flesh is flesh. What does it matter what part it is? Modesty makes no sense." Lydia said, pouting a little bit. Though, it WOULD explain why everyone had such an aversion to seeing in her in some state of undress. But what was wrong with her body that everyone insisted on covering it up? "And what areas are so upsetting for people to see exposed?"
"If you can't think of any names, I'll go get you a baby name book. IF you start breast feeding your child before she starts and all out tantrum." Gail interjected, trying to keep a smirk off her face.
"That sounds good...but how do I breast feed?"

Skiaska's thin blush deepened just a bit. She never expected to have to talk about this to anyone. After all, that was usually saved for a mother... and her child. Biting her lip again, Skiaska decided to speak. "It's a strange concept, when you think about it logically. But... How to say this..." She tapped her finger on her thigh before sighing. "By showing these certain areas, you are being openly intimate. That certain intimacy should be reserved for people who completely trust and love. people would take advantage of you while in such a state. Will is your husband, for example. Your very welcome to be completely bare to him."
Ski rubbed the bridge of her nose, feeling a headache coming on. "As for these parts... Your breasts, for one..." Skiaska's ears had turned a bloody red by this point. She realized it wasn't that embarrassing, but to be talking about it in front of her leader, the cheif of medicine, and other patients. "Another thing you shouldn't show to the world are the parts where you have sexual intercourse." Ski almost gagged, but was relieved. At least she knows what sex is. After all, she has a kid, now...

Lydia tapped her lower lip thoughtfully, as she always did when reviewing a new piece of information. "So...I should not show these parts to people because they associate them with intimacy, and I am only to be intimate with people whom I trust and love? You also know that this whole conversation could have been done mentally, perhaps letting you avoid some embarassment?" she said, smiling a bit as she noted Skiaska's red ears.

Skiaska blinked at Lydia owlishyly as realization donned on her. Her eyes closed tightly and her mouth opened widely, revealing her sharp teeth. Her lung sucked in a great amount of air and she cursed very, very loudly. "DAMNIT!" The sudden outburst had one of the minor nurses stumble over a patient. Silence reigned and Skiaska grinned sheepishly before ducking fully out of the infirmary. How could I not have thought of that? Because you're you. Hey! She mentally pouted at Jag, who sighed and went back to sleep, trying to regain strength to make herself permanent in Skiaska's head again.

Lydia could not help but laugh a little at Skiaska; the other huntress was just so funny at times, and that was part of why Lydia was such good friends with her. After living the life she had and being without laughter for so many years, finding that she could laugh and doing so was a wounderous gift from anyone who did make her laugh. In the meantime, Gail went about trying to instruct Lydia on how to breastfeed her child.

Skiaska smiled, glad she had been able to make the younger huntress laugh. In a world of death and darkness, laughter brought joy to the pained hearts. With a final sigh, she sat against the wall and fell into a half-doze.

Edith, rather oblivious to all events happening within her absence due to her lack of communication, her dealings with the Shadow Stalker base blowing to bits, and her current attire (which just so happened to be a sleek wedding gown that was not at all poofy but made her stomach look plump), she headed for the infimary, sensing her brother, but failing to sense Lydia. She made her way into the imfirmary rather hastily, but not disruptively and turned to see Gail, Lydia, Skiaska, William, and the most beautiful baby she had ever seen.
"Lyds," the blood aunt of the Hunter Leader's child managed to breathe, obviously taken aback at the birth of his wife's child, her friend's child, "you gave birth, didn't you? Congratulations!" Edith had forgotten all forms of modesty herself and did not realize that Lydia was breast-feeding until a few moments later when she had time to process everything.
"Oops! Sorry! I kind of barged in ... Heh heh. So ... now that I'm here and before I get kicked out, can I know whether I have a nephew or a neice? I've ... never been good at telling so I'm lost. When were they born too? Do they have a name?" Yep, someone was probably about ready to shoot her, noise noise noise and question after question and she hadn't noticed yet. That and she had completely forgotten that Lydia had been captured by Mauser and she had not seen her since before the event.

Tokeru came in not a few seconds behind Edith, having followed her directly from the subway. He too was completly oblivious since the base had been blown up with all his stuff.
He came in after Edith did, and from her position, he could not see Lydia, as she was in his direct sight, however, when she exclaimed about the nephew part, he smiled and stepped so he could, then immediantly turned around, his back facing her.
"Umm, i'm sorry."

Upon hearing Tokeru behind her, she turned around, a huge fanged grin on her face. "Tokeru's now officially earned himself peeping tom of the year award. Sheesh! And just after poor Lydia's given birth! Shame!" She clutched his arms, playing with them, then crossing them behind his back, putting him in your classical police lock up.
"Lyds," she said with a mischevious smile, turning to face her sister-in-law with Tokeru still locked, "if you want me to kick his a** then it can be arranged. But I'm pretty sure that he didn't do it on purpose, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. That and Will would probably kick his a** before me."

Tokeru grinned, still not turning around. He now knew that Will was in the room, and from his previous quick glance, Lydia, a baby and Skiaska.
"Edith, i'm pretty sure Will has more than enough reason to kick my a** right now, what with him not having a single Idea what's been going on with us. Oh btw, the Chapterhouse has been bye bye'd"
He made an exploding boom sound. and spread his hands.

Though she liked this position and found it to her liking, Edith decided not to pull any stunts and behave like the support she was supposed to be to her leader. However, even when serious she found ways to poke in a joke or play around. Discreetly, not making a scene and not making it as obvious as the day and the night, she pecked Tokeru on the neck lightly and bumped him forward playfully.
"Yeah," she said with a smile, slowly releasing his arms from her iron grip, "but I think we can raise that later. Right now we need to talk about the Chapterhouse going bye bye and how we're going to kick Mauser's a**. But we should let Daddy become acquainted with his son or daughter since I still don't know which gender his child is. I intend to before I leave and I call AUNTIE RIGHTS!"
She smiled to her brother, watching him watch his child and his wife. Edith decided to kick in with her mental powers which had grown significantly stronger. 'Congratz,' she said mentally to both Will and Lydia in unison, 'Mr. Jackson and Mrs. Jackson on your healthy child. Remember that I'm willing to kid sit, or baby sit any time you need me to. Congratz once again, I love all three of you, God bless. I'll leave you to your peace now.' God did she have a headache after that.
Edith then tugged at Tokeru's dress suit or grooms outfit as she leaned in to reach him, her sleek white wedding dress never failing to make her stomach appear plump. 'Let's leave, Angel. I want to give Will and Lyds some time to bond with their kid where you and I aren't disrupting.' Yeah, she was capable of being considerate at times, now being one of them. That and it no longer gave her a headache to speak to Tokeru mentally.

Skiaska blinked tiredly at the two, then smiled gently at them. She had no problem with Tokeru, and Edith was roped into her view of family. "hey." With a short yawn, Ski briefly wondered about the last time she slept. Hmm... Forty-eight hours? Seventy-two? How many days? She blinked again, stretched, then frowned. "Damn. Ninety-six hours? No wonder I'm so... tired..." With another yawn and flash of fanged teeth, Ski rested against the wall again before dozing.
