Late welcome to the guild. In the absence of colm, I refer you hereSarah is not such a bad name, and exotic names are not always so great to have. My name is Zeus, and while I don't hate it, I don't care much for situations brought up for having the name, from pointless questions, to stupid jokes, to people apprently having trouble spelling it (Zoose?). Also since moving to the states half the people mistake me for Jesus (Which is funny enough, my brother). Don't worry, I am sure most of us suck at the games but love it all the same, like some weird Tenshi like fetish where we enjoy it even as we get our asses handed to us again and again. I also tend to sympathise with less than popular character and ideas. Being the geeks I am sure a fair portion of us are, feel free to take your reservoir of useless knowledge and engage in pointless discussion and debate on whether Alice really is a tsundere, how exactly does Keine's powers work, canon vs. fanon, and so on. Feel free to ramble as much as you like. You can think of it as making up for others' lack of activity.

I love all and everything about Meiling XD
The thing that got me into touhou was actually a friend playing touhou 11. i then got sucked into the gameplay and ventured into all the games. still having trouble with double spoiler though gonk .

I got into Touhou about 3 months ago. I first caught wind of it on an image site I frequent. Originally, I detested it; mainly because of its abundance. Everywhere I turned, I saw something relating to it...but after a while, it began to pique my interest. I started looking at more and more media for it; pictures, videos, music, manga. I finally, I played my first Touhou game: 12.8 Fairy Wars.
It kicked my a**, but left me wanting more. Oh, so much more.
So, here I am. Like the rest of you, I am infected with this disease known as Touhou... a disease I am all too happy to have and spread.

Salutations and good day. Call me Evon, Evy for short. I am still new to the world of Touhou. A friend of mine at university got me into it when he showed me and my other friends Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. I was instantly hooked. The games, especially what we call with a laugh, bullet h**ls, are challenging enough that it just irks me enough to keep practicing. My group is planning on doing a group cosplay for Anime Boston. I really want to cos as Meiling (China). I just hope I can get the costume sewn in time. sweatdrop

My favorite Touhou game is Undefined Fantastic Object and my favorite character is either Byakuren, Nitori or Flandre. I just can't pick one. :S

Hello everybody.
I've discovered Touhou somewhere around the beginning of 2010. Before that I've listen to many of the bgms from Touhou, the first being either Mokou's, Keine's, or Mystia's theme. When I played the games, I love it. I used to play those kind of shooters when I was a kid, so I enjoy dodging the insane amount of bullets, although I'm not very good at it. I love the music, the characters, the memes (although the fandom do take it a bit far...) and well, everything about Touhou.
In other words, touhou had taken over my life. Not that it's a bad thing.

*steps on stage* Ah-eh-em *mic screech* Testing. . . H-hello everybody~ My name's H34R78R34K3R but you can call me Nuk. And yes, I do have another account with my name on. *fumbles with notes*
*takes a deep breath* I discovered Touhou around late last year while watching random youtube game-plays and stumbled on quite a peculiar Shoot 'em up, or SHMUP, where the character shoots not with a gun, but a camera of some sort. I was amazed at such a game and it entertained me for minutes. After looking up the other touhou game-plays, I fell in love with the game, mainly because of the beautiful but deadly complex bullet patterns. *crosses out items on notes* It was only recently I got to experience first-hand what a touhou game feels like. I'd say it's epic! I am doing badly at the game though.
Lastly,
My favourite music is Koishi's theme, and Utsuho's theme too
My favourite character is definitely Utsuho!!! heart If I can't have her, Aya or Flandre can do 3nodding

Hello~
I'm Banamel, and I found Touhou around June, 2010.
Sad to say, the first Touhou Character I ever saw was Sakuya. Sadly(?), It was a PAD joke. I got interested and tried to find where she was from, so I kept googling around, and downloaded EoSD. The game was fun when not frustrating, so I decided to become a fan and have EoSD-UFO.
Can't really choose a favorite character. But its probably someone at Eintei.
