Silas smiled and leaned on the sword heavily.
"You want him. You go get him." Clearly, the elf had no idea who he was talking to. Silas has been a disciple of Der Reisende, many eons ago, and learned much about the flow of time and space. He had very little of his own power at his disposal when in physical form, but could draw power from nearly anything, as his mentor had taught him. He could reach through time to present some childhood terror to a young Orcus, or even prevent his conception. Silas and Reis alike also had the power to kill him while he visited the outhouse. But the ramifications in regards to the flow of time around Orcus would be dire, as the timestream of his world would be severely disrupted but a change in his fate. Silas kept these thoughts to himself, and took solace in the knowledge that he was able to do such things, though he actually never would. He plucked the Chimera blade from the earth, and wandered over to Ty and Crimson.
"Man...that guy really doesn't like me," he whispered to them, amused.

Orcus gritted his teeth as he heard Silas' comment. "Don't think you're funny mate. You've no idea whom you're talking to. I've lived longer than the first being has been dead, I've been through a couple of things, I've learned more than you could comprehend in a hundred life times." Orcus stood up. "Maybe I can't read minds but you were emitting a strong enough aura. One of the dirtiest scents I've ever smelled and I don't like it." Orcus pulled out a throwing knife and threw it at whatever Silas sensed. "I'm not taking a liking to you but you're apparently her friend so you're safe enough." Orcus walked over to his catch. He had pinned the demon to a tree. "What happened here?!" Orcus asked, still very angry.

((Sorry 'bout the post. Very deep into my character but I have to keep it up. I've noticed that when I leave a role play it dies. Maybe if I add a lot of life to this then I could leave without it dying.))

((lol that's alright...initiating pissing contest!))
"What makes you think I haven't lived a hundred lifetimes, or more?" Silas said with a raised eyebrow. He was unfazed by the violent nature and veiled threats of the elf. "Anyway, your own aura's none too pleasant, either. Thought you ought to know."
Silas actually knew quite a lot...some might say that he knew everything. His experience was impossible to quantify.
He, like his teacher, had been to countless worlds, living a full life or two on each one before leaving, learning everything he could. But his teacher, Der Resiende the traveler, had fulfilled his purpose, and could travel no more. He left the important task of protecting the timestream and destroying evil wherever it was to Silas, who had been doing it for ages upon eons upon epochs, was quite wise, and knew it would do him no good to flash credentials at the short-tempered Orcus. So he stood by quietly, letting the elf have his way with the demon he'd caught.

((I'll piss up a river tomorrow but It's 3:30 and writers block usually hits pretty hard at this late hour. Plus I think we should leave the gals with something to say, I know I get mad when I'm left out of a role play. xp ))

A tiny little town in northern Georgia, called Rockmart. It's quite small, and quite filthy, and filled with quite a lot of drug addicts and dealers...but I love my hometown. *gasps* I now have enough gold for my own guild! Hooray!

((Coolish, I guess. Sounds like North-west Miami. Got any ideas for your guild? Maybe some that I could steal?))

((Just that I want a role-playing guild that I can control. Not that I'm trying to be a control-freak, but I like for my role-plays to happen a certain way, and it doesn't work like that when it's not my guild. lol I don't get to make the rules, or change things I don't like. Plus I want to be able to make banners and such. You know, the fun stuff.))

((Yeah, the fun stuff. Wait 'till planning and construction kick in, you'll get a wake up call. Well, I going to get a good night's rest. I'm beat. Be seeing ya'.))

Crimson never liked when people argued, but with these two, it seems she would have to get used to it. People from her Southern Forest tribe never really had harsh feelings toward each other, so it always made her nervous when she could feel them.
She watched the two argue for a few moments, pondering on whether she should say something. She didn't want them to get even more aggravated, they were of course much, much older than her, and much more experienced.
But, she decided to start off somewhere anyway,
"We are not going to get very far if we keep arguing like this...."

Orcus smashed the demons head into the tree. He wouldn't give an answer to Orcus' questions and he was fed up with it all. He used his fists to brake and rip the carcass. "All demonic contents were already drained." Orcus paused for a second. He began looking around in a daze. He walked over to the dead, crusty corpses and looked right above it. His eyes didn't focus on anything specific, he just starred into thin air and then adjusted his eyes and starred again. His jaw dropped and then he spoke. "Where are they all?" Orcus was still looking out into the distance, he was no longer looking for anything but he couldn't think so all he did was look. "Demons don't just leave. They stick around, they wait for something to come their way." He sat down, dazed, confused, just overall dumbfound.

Silas whistled through his teeth to get Orcus' attention, just as a dispatched demon sailed through the air towards him. It had tried to get the drop on Silas. He very nearly didn't see it at all, but it caught his notice just in time. A quick slash of the blade finished it off.
"Crimson! Behind you! They're hiding their auras somehow!"
PostPosted: Tue Jun 22, 2010 9:40 pm

Crimson flinched and quickly turned. Hiding their...?!
She didn't have time to finish the thought. To save herself she had to form a spell.
Quickly holding up the scythe Orcus let her have in front of her, a light blue defensive aura formed in front of her, in the form of an old fashioned shield.
The demons charged at her and rammed into the aura, only to be repelled back by, what seemed to be, and electric force. They were thrown against some of the taller ruins of the buildings across the alleyway.
Crimson sighed relieved, she got them away. "Got them!" But what never satisfied her was that she couldn't do any real damage. Defensive spells were the only thing she was good at and they never killed any of her opponents.
