What was that sound? Chef flicked an ear back, then looked over to see Chris hunched over something. Hmm... Maybe Chris crumpled up an idea, then scrounged around and retrieved it? Was it that idea with the prairie dog tunnels? Forcing campers into an underground maze was one of those strange ideas that had a strange appeal to it... Nevermind that the interns would take the opportunity digging it to dig a hole into his pantry. He'd need to put a layer of cement on the floor sometime to prevent that.
"Mm-hmm. Isn't someone from the camera crew in charge right now?" He asked, tilting his head to one side. "Or did you just get up and leave everyone to fend for themselves?"

"...It's my camp dude, why would I leave anyone else in charge of it?" You know, nevermind the fact that now with all the higher-ups gone who knows WHAT could be going on there. But sheesh, the only person he'd think about leaving in charge was Chef himself, and if Chef was already off Wawanakwa...well clearly no one else was capable of running it. They'd just have to fend for themselves for a few days.
...Yeah. That was going to go over well.

Sykes sneaks over to the tree and sniffles about it sneakily as he poked about at the different ornaments. "Hehee... x3;" he cooed quietly before looking around to check things out behind the large and very decorated tree.
*rolls*
Poking around curiously, he eeps as an ornament falls and bops him on the head and catches it in his paw. Panicking slightly, he looks around before rushing out of the room before the others saw him there at the scene of the crime!

"Well, I can think of a couple reasons. Number one being that we'd still have an island to go back to, number two being that you'd still have a trailer." He scratched the back of his head. "Come to think of it, I hope I'll still have a motorbike when I return..."
Chef shrugged. "I guess we'll haveta see when we get back there."

...Erk. Well there was that. Hopefully those damn interns had stayed away from his trailer....and Chef's motorbike. ...And wait, what the hell? Did something just go missing on the tree..?
Shaking his head to clear the thoughts, Chris fidgeted a bit before finally just coming out with it. "Err yeah, hopefully they haven't blown up Wawanakwa...that wouldn't be cool, and....dudeIgotyousomething." Cringing just a bit, Chris pulled the package out from behind his back and held it out to Chef.

Scott crawled out from under the tree, his face and hands covered in the sticky residue of a few dozen candy canes. The little intern looked slightly ill. Too bad Chef hadn't decorated the tree with meat or some nice..healthy foods.

There would have been healthier foods on the tree... But the fruitcake weighed like several bricks and managed to snap off several limbs when Chef tried to hang some up. This was after he sliced the cake into smaller, more manageable pieces. Since then, he figured the fruitcake reassembled itself and walked off on its own.
-- Waitwhatwasthat? Chef stood up straight and peered around the room, looking for the source of the giggle. Nothing on the home front... He knelt down and peered beneath the tree, raising an eyebrow at Scott. "Dude... You look like you're in some serious help."
He stood up and brushed off his knees, turning towards Chris. "Naw, of course it wouldn't. Where would we get good foot...age?" He blinked in surprise as Chris offered the package. "Aww, you shouldn't have," he replied, opening the package to see what was inside.

Chris eyed the intern, scrunching his face a bit. Ewww, if the little guy started hurling everywhere it'd be one messy Christmas party.
Maclean fidgeted more as Chef tore into the package. Either Chef would like it and all would be good, YAY. ...Or Chef would kill him for the gift. Inside the package was a small book, crammed full with random recipes Chris had "liberated" from the Audio around. Some were actually good!..Clearly to be saved for himself, Chef, and the camera crew. Others were downright strange and would be best reserved for the interns and campers.
...Now here's hoping he didn't somehow manage to insult Chef with the gift and end up with a book thrown at his head.
