Kurtis stared for a second and five agents came around a corner, guns raised. Kurtis aimed over his prone allies and fired, blasting all five agents back.
"Think later, run now!" Kurtis declared, ducking low and continuing.

A warning beep came from Kurtis' gun: one shot remaining.
Connor and Tiki stood and began to run along with them. No time for questions.
They came to a 4-way intersection, and Connor grabbed Kurtis and pulled him to the right. He waved Tiki and Xander to the left, and Tiki grabbed Xander and complied. They ran as fast as they could.
Agents could be heard approaching from the direction they had come from.

Kurtis sprinted down his corridor, trying to remember where it led.

Oh, that's right. This particular corridor led to the maintenance facilities for the particle collider that they kept underground.

Kurtis began trying to remember where various items were. If he could find certain chemicals and certain items....

Kurtis soon realized two things: he knew almost nothing about the maintenance wing of the facility, and he had no time.
Connor grabbed Kurtis and pulled him into a side hallway. There were no lights on in there as they sprinted on.
