Daedalus met a young blond haired man wearing a powder blue shirt and tan slacks. The assassin shook the man's hand, "Jimmy, how was the concert the other day."

Jimmy Zorn returned the gesture, "Actually, it went very well. Everyone was quite a buzz."

Daedalus' eyebrows shot up, "Really, sounds like you had fun."

Jimmy shrugged as the pair of golfers headed out to the course, "Not everything Jake..."

Jake glanced at his associate, "Was there a problem with the silver market?"

As the two put their golf bags in the back of the golf cart, Jimmy sat in the driver seat while Jake joined him as the passenger. Driving out to the first green, Jimmy continued, "Yes, there was a problem. We tried to make a killing in that commodity, and someone decided to be a white knight."

Once they reached the first green, Jimmy took the first shot off the tee. Jake cupped a hand over his eyes watching the progress, "Good drive shot, Jimmy. Are you needing me to troubleshoot on the silver market?"

Mr. Zorn waited until after Jake took his shot off the tee, "Nice, Uh, no. I'm going to have someone else deal with that."

The two men walked back to the cart and drove to Jake's ball. The assassin got out and took his shot toward the green. Zorn continued, "Actually, I want you to handle the military contract. You'd be best in dealing with them."

As Jimmy walked out to his ball's location, Jake nodded, "Ahhhhh.... You want me to negotiage with the drill sergeant. I'll be glad to knock back a few with the old soldier."

Jimmy took his shot, and entered back into the cart with Jake, "Great to hear it." With that, they drove toward the 1st hole's flag.

Alex and Steel made their way out of the building and started down the street. Steel kept glancing back at the building, then back at the other woman. She could tell that Alex was upset, despite her calm demeanor at the moment. She didn't feel the need to press any questions or comments though. She remembered what it was like when she was sliced in half because of Alex...and she didn't have any way to repair herself is something like that happened again.

Steel was focused on Alex. Alex was so lost in thought that her entire attention seemed fixated on the street in front of them.
Neither seemed to realize that they were being watched by a dark figure on the rooftops with glassy green armor.

"What the heck are they talking about." John muttered from behind a tree.
He had been listening through the device not knowing he had been discovered.
Listening lazily to the conversation. John got bored and decide he had enough. Lightly touching his left ear,where his comm link was,"Have you had any sightings of Spiderman.
Yes, in Lavteria.at Doctor Doom's castle. He was spotted being carried off by a Doom bot...Why are you asking?
Locating his cycle after a few seconds of hard shadow searching.
"I'm going to there to find Spiderman." Blindside said throwing on his mask.
"Send one of your lapdogs to trace this guy.I have better thong to do. "
Blindside commed in leaving on his hovercycle.
Bindside stay put..Stay Put!*beep beep beep*[insert word of choice] it Blindside.
"Now to find, Peter." John said cutting off his comm link as he headed to Doom's Palace. His blood was pumping with excitement.
"Now I got figure out a way to get in."

Steel stood there in the street for a long moment and just stared at the spot where Alex had been standing. Finally she started down the street again until she found a bench to sit down at. Carefully, she took a seat and let out a sound that was rather close to a sigh. No better time than now to review some of her saved data.
Lets see...just start back at...that house in New York City they had been inside. The woman she had been modeled after was still in there...or at least should still be there. She had gotten tired of waiting around inside, and so she left with Alex to try and find Flash and her Batman. They came back to this city since it was the last place they had seen either of them. They found nothing. At all.
And then shooting. Two humans were dead, and Steel followed after the man who had a gun hidden on his person. Followed him to a building where he was pointing a gun at a door. She tried to stop him...knock him out. He fought back with some techniques Steel hadn't really seen before, but assumed they would have killed her had she been human. She successfully knocked him out and recorded the data and visuals of the fight. (So she could learn from them and show Flash when he came back). Then she tied him up and dropped him off in the building with Alex.
Oh...and there were the other humans with speed-based powers. The woman she had mistaken for Flash at first. She was...nice...though. The girl was apparently new to the whole thing, so there was no reason for Steel to be mad at her.
...really, she wasn't sure why she'd felt so angry when she realized it wasn't Flash to begin with.

The speedsters went to get costumes. Alex and she went to a resteraunt so Alex could eat. Steel memorized the menu so she could find out what everything was later. Then other people came. One of the human's...his head just exploded. Then people left, and Alex didn't even want to stick around to help. Steel still wasn't sure why Alex had seemed so...detached about the whole situation. She could understand that there was nothing Alex could do for the man. But still...she was a hero, right? Weren't they supposed to do...something?"

Well, Alex had left, and now she was on her own. There was nothing more to be found in this city. So...what did she do? Go back to that place in New York and just...sit in there again? She would love to explore more, but it just didn't feel right doing it on her own. She was too worried about Flash to really enjoy herself. And she didn't know how the real world worked outside of Murderworld. She needed someone to show her what....wait. Murderworld? Maybe...maybe she could go back there. Try to re-build it. She knew how things worked there. She could re-build some of the other robots, and have a nice group of them up and working. Get the computer back up. Have some form of a base up and running for the heroes. She wasn't sure how many the heroes had...but...it seemed like it was a good idea. At least she'd be actively doing something to try to help. And that prison was close by...she could keep trying to knock people out and take them back there. That's what Flash was trying to do before...he vanished. She could help him with that, right?


With a small smile, Steel stood from the bench and started walking down the street again. She only made it a few steps before she stopped again. Something in her programming had kicked on and was blinking in the corner of her vision. She turned her head around towards one of the buildings close to her, and the circles flipped around as they had for the assassin. They found a small clump of something on the top of the roof, then zoomed in on it until she could see a figure.

Black skinned, and green gem-like armor.

Steel sighed. ”Yes, so I’ve heard.” she replied. “Calling me an ‘other worldly double’ would probably be accurate.” Not at all a lie. Sapphire was from one universe, and Steel was built by someone from another.

Riku stared at her for another beat. “You’re not human, are you? I’m not sensing anything from you that even hints that you’re alive.”

Steel hesitated this time. ”No. I’m not human. Who exactly are you?”

Riku paused again. ”I’m from Alex and Sapphire’s universe. I’m…Riku.” he replied.

Steel shifted her weight and crossed her arms as she stared at the…creature. She didn’t know who the man was, and she wasn’t sure she really trusted her. The way he was acting, and how carefully he was putting his words together, she was guessing he didn’t trust her either. Or he was hiding something. ”Alright…and what do you want?”

”Like I said, you looked a lot like Sapphire, so I stopped. But you’re not her.” he replied.

”Nope, I’m not.” she said. ”Is there anything else you need then?”

Riku stared at her for a moment, growing rather frustrated with her. The black tendrils around his kryptonite armor. ”Yeah. I’m looking for Sapphire and Alex. Do you know where either of them are?”

Elasa looked to Yuriko as she gracefully stepped out of the taxi. "Yuriko... you know not of the Green Lanterns... but how do you know of the Justice League? I do know that the Green Lanterns are allies of the Justice League-- and the Blue Lanterns are too."

Elasa frowned, and shrugged. "My people are... nowhere near as technologically developed as this planet is... it's... overwhelming." she said, folding her arms as she looked at the many cars, stores, and people around. Apparently costumed heroes were quite common on this planet, as she barely received even an odd glance from any passersby. She looked at the old JLA headquarters.

"I am aware that the Justice League is currently headquartered in an orbital Watchtower. I would have gone there, but I sensed that... it wasn't a good time to do so. Anyway, why are we here? What do you expect to find?"
