"Leave him alone," Ciara said, finally managing to stand again. "Let him go, he can't attack you."

Aleksi stared up at Ciara, then said roughly "I'm your opponent." He shakily raised his arm and clasped his hand around the mage's ankle. "Leave her alone." He crushed the man's ankle.
The robed man howled in pain, and stumbled backwards, not being able to balance.
Aleksi pushed himself up with nothing but willpower, and stood. He limped his way to Ciara as quickly as he could.

Ciara tried to push Aleski towards the exit of the camp. "Go," she said quietly. "I'll be right behind you."

Aleksi stumbled out of the camp as well as he could. But he couldn't move very far, before falling to his knees and needing recuperation.

Ciara reached down to pick up the demon card she had dropped in her fatigue. She stood again weakly and moved towards the exit.

The robed man clutched his broken ankle and sat where he was. He looked up at the two fleeing and decided that money was not worth his life.
Aleksi managed to stand again. He looked at Ciara and called to her to hurry.

Ciara ran out of the camp, to where Aleski was. She stopped by his side, before collapsing onto the sand.

Aleksi fell onto his knees next to Ciara. The pain sapped all his energy, and they were both out of sight of the bandits, so he succumbed to the pain and fell onto the sand next to her. He quickly lost conciseness, hoping that he would wake.

Ciara saw Aleski fall unconscious, and tried to help him, though she was too close to doing the same. She passed out soon after, from an overuse of magic.

Throughout the night, Aleksi struggled to remain alive. Slipping in and out of consciousness. The fact that he was made of metal made the attack so much more damaging.

When Ciara woke, she knew that Aleski was in trouble, since he still hadn't woken up. She moved closer to him and placed both her hands on his chest, letting some of her power move into him, trying to help him.

Aleksi's eyes flicked open as Ciara pumped the energy into him. He winced from pain and layed there, lacking the energy to do anything else.

Ciara pulled her hands back when his eyes opened. She stood and walked a little way away, then sat, looking out over the sand. Her hand went to the collar of her dress, and she pulled out the card holding her brother's spirit. SHe was a little afraid of what Aleski would say to her, since she went in before he told her to, and put them both in danger.

Aleksi mustered the strength to sit up. He winced as shots of pain ran up his back. "C-Ciara. Are you alright?" he asked shakily, but caringly.

Ciara turned back to look at Aleski. "I'm fine," she said. "Rest. You were hurt."
