Im good, not hurt, yet. But the battle rages on. How are you my friend?
He slashed at an oncoming attacker and was cut, blood trickled out a little.

Other than being worried, I cannot really complain. Lance has come back... it is so good to see him well. Mallory tried to keep his thoughts clear and to the point, but he could not help getting warm and fuzzy inside at the thought of Lance being near enough that he could get up, step outside this room and touch him if he wanted. My father is being very strange with him, but I much expected that. I should say he is in high enough spirits if he has the energy to antagonize Lance. Mallory was not really angry, though. Exasperated was a better word. Dawn... I am not sure. I hope she will be alright. The wound would heal, and she would have blood. But her sister was gone and she for some reason Mallory could not explain felt an attachment to Asher who could easily die, or worse, harm Dusk. It made Mallory worry.

It's good Lance is back, at least your father is not hurting Lance, though, right? Hm, Dawn. She seemed strong, but I have no clue really how strong or weak a person is. Franky wiped off the wound with a finger just as another attacker came towards him.

Mallory has to actually stifle a laugh at the thought of his father trying to harm Lance. Or anyone, really. He had never seen his father actually angry enough to get physical. Non, non. They've not come to blows. Though they have gotten rather quiet... perhaps I should check on them. Mallory sits up and looks toward the door. Maybe just a peek to see if they had at least simmered down a bit... Please be careful, ami intime. I should like us to meet again in better times. We will stir up trouble of a less deadly kind, oui? Mallory slipped out of bed, crept to the door and opened it a crack. He could not see his father, leaned against a nearby wall, but he could mostly see Lance. He looked tired. And still utterly attractive at being tired, though Mallory mentally chastised himself for being distracted from his original purpose.

"Dusk!" I called out her name, wishing Alexia would move away the dagger she held to my heart. "Move away!" I commanded, though knowing she wouldn't. One wrong move made by me and I knew that Alexia would end my life in an instant, but at the moment Dusk's life was more important. "Alexia, kill me, and the girl at your feet will never forgive you. Kill me, and you will have taken a life, an action that cannot be done over later in life. If you hold the knife that strikes my body and sends me dead, it will be the biggest mistake you ever made." She continued to hold the dagger to my chest. "Can't you see that this is what they want?! For an innocent woman to turn against what she's always believed in, peace and harmony, just to see a man that's done her wrong dead! Alexia, I don't know you well, but you are not a murderer. You want to be peaceful, you want to see the sun shine on one Tamatha again! But it is so much easier to kill me, isn't it?! So go ahead, do your worst, I'm not afraid!"

Lance shrugged “Well, even if Mallory does learn that love is not a great as he would wish, I want him to learn that from me.” He leaned back lying down on the couch. He felt very tired and arguing over the boy was not helping to lift his spirits. “But I warn you, I will dedicate my life to keeping him foolish and sweet. He is such a joy that to do otherwise would be a sin.” He yawned and folded his hands behind his head.

Alphonse regarded Lance silently for a few moments, digesting the younger man's words. He could argue that it was better for Mallory in the long run if he grew out of his naivete, but what would be the point? Lance seemed almost as stubborn as Alphonse himself, for one thing. And high strung, to boot. They could argue all night, or they could get some rest and be alert if anything should happen. Warn him indeed; it was a bit of an effort not to chuckle and likely get the fellow all wound up again. Saying nothing, Alphonse slipped into the room where he erroneously assumed Mallory was resting.

Mallory sprung away from the door and hopped into bed as his father approached, but not really quickly enough.

Alphonse raises a brow as Mallory gives him the look of a child with his hand caught in the cookie jar. "How long were you eavesdropping? I would not worry so much, if I were you. I am pretty sure it is some sort of tradition for your father and your boyfriend to hate each other and make pointless passive aggressive gestures." He drops onto the other bed and crosses his ankles, folding his hands over his chest.

"I am certain he does not hate you, father. You are just a very frustrating man." Mallory smirks in amusement, giving up the pretense that he had remained in bed. "And I don't think you really care enough to hate anyone."

"Ah, true enough. I still say you two should just fu-"

"FATHER!"

Alphonse clears his throat with an exaggerated ahem. "Explore the intimacies of physical relationships." He grins, closes his eyes and ignores the glare from Mallory. "Oh, give it up, boy. I am the definition of incorrigible. Besides, shouldn't you be cheering up lover boy? Go on, go on."

Mallory glares for all of a second more before he does give up and slips out of the room. Seeing Lance still on the couch, he creeps over quietly and squeezes himself in next to Lance.

Lance opened one eye as Mallory squeezed in between him and the couch back. "Shouldn’t you be asleep?" He asked and put an arm around the boy. He smelled good, Not a hint of smoke or blood, only olive oil soap, and whatever kind of laundry detergent Alexia happened to be using at the time. “Ah, well I guess you’ll just have to sleep with me for now.” He chuckled and closed his eyes. “Unless your father objects.” He said this last part a tad louder but not loud enough to startle the boy next to him.

Alphonse snickers at Lance's raised voice. Such silly boys.

"I would not worry about my father's opinion. He has strange ideas about intimacy and will likely try 'talking some sense' into me for the rest of my life. But in truth? He is just glad to learn I am not asexual." Mallory did not even bother to mention that his father had all but shooed him out here any way. Mallory snuggled up to Lance, an arm around his waist, and planted a kiss on the bare chest revealed by his open shirt. "Before you I've not shown much of an interest in any one. Just childish crushes I was not quite foolish enough to admit to. It probably goes without saying that father's attempts to foist girls around my age on me consistently fell flat. He... never quite caught on."

"I'm sorry to hear that." He did not open his eyes, but pulled the boy closer to him and reached a hand up to grab a blanket that covered the top of the couch. in one great sweeping motion he opened the blanket and covered them so they would be a little more comfortable. " Maybe he is Just bored and wants to put his energy into you rather than find himself a woman." Lance smirked and kissed the boy's cheek softly. "If he is as womanizing as I think he is, It really is quite extraordinary he does not have a mate. Or is he getting to old for such things?”

[Gods, I'm so lost it's unreal... so... Lillith is lost on the wrong side of town too! Someone come save her please! LOL]

Alexia seemed to have an unended amount of energy to run after Asher, and before long, Lillith was left far behind. And alone. On the wrong side of town. On a full moon.

"Oh, this is just lovely." she muttered to herself as she wandered the streets, trying to find her way back to the tunnel, and hopefully, the others so she can tell them about Alexia. She hoped the woman was safe, but it seemed as if the woman had snapped and would not listen to reason.

Mallory chuckles. "The flaw in your thinking is that my father is very rarely satisfied with just one woman. He still knows quite a few that keep a window unlatched just in case he decides to stop in for the night and a bite. But you are right that he does not chase so much as he used to. Perhaps he is just getting bored as he grows older. I think I would like that. It is... strange for me.... I do not understand how he can live without strong attachments. Just brief, physical encounters with any of several women that all mean little or nothing to him."

{let's make something clear, shall we? I have given NO ONE any permission at ALL to kill off Asher! for now, and possibly a long time after that, he stays}

Lillith kept moving towards the western part of town, hoping to find the tunnel. Unfortuantely, what she found was trouble.

Five young men, wearing long heavy black jackets started walking towards her. Lillith started to go around them, but they encircled her.

"Hey, hey, hey, little lost lamb... I think you look familiar..." one of them said. "Didn't you used to sing at the Blood Moon?"

Lillith's eyes went wide and she froze in panic, her mind screaming that she needed help, though it would do no good since she wasn't a telepath.

"What are you doing on the wrong side of town, baby? Looking for some excitement? Well, we got your excitement right here." He said and they all pulled swtichknives out of their pockets and leered at her.
