The hybrid listened to the noises of the others behind the line of trees and bushes that marked the separation of forest and clearing. She was far more careful to mask any noise her paws might make by accidentally stepping on a leaf. In one hand she held a crossbow, with one bolt ready. The bow and bolts themselves, looked quite ordinary. The crossbow was wooden, as were each bolt in the satchel strapped to her hip, but with tassels colored black against each side.
Her grayish-green eyes turned to peer out towards the clearing, as the hybrid stopped walking. It was hard, but as she kneels she could see one of the people. He was on a rock; a pillar or sorts, to be exact.

A small dark sphere flies out of the sky above the ground, then it expands and dissipates, leaving my form. I look around, seeing who's here.
