Raki glances at Clare, he had a lot of things to ask her. He noticed a fog hanging over the group, "So Thorn that pink power of Aiya's was wind? Oh and nobody ever bumped against the sword and unsealed any powers before me and her?

"for your information warren i hate crowds all the noise gives me a headache......makes me wish i wasnt so well known sometimes." he pauses thinking about his past experiences "heck theirs many times where i had to put on a disgiuse when i was just taking a break so people wouldnt come rushing at me worried their might be a yoma around since ive arrived in town..."

"That's not quite what I meant," Warren said as he sighed and shook his head.
"It was the act of stating it in the manner that you did. If you truly hated the attention, you would have simply kept it to yourself and carried a disguise with you at all times. I'm very much the same way, or at least I was before I became fused with the Yoma and went into solitude for as long as I did. Now, it seems that former popularity is no more. Not that it matters. So, in other words Thorn, if you do not want the crowds, do as you say you have done in the past. It isn't terribly difficult and it provides you with protection and stealth against the hidden Yoma as well. I do not intend to offend you, but it is my nature to remain as low-key as possible... particularly with my 'condition'."

Aiya couldn't believe the conversation between the two males. She decided to stop listening to them. The town of Kir sounded familiar. Then it came to her, it was only a few towns from her home of Trin. She sighed. 'I might have to stop by and see them, even if in disguise.' she thought.

Warren rolled his eyes and then looked to the one whom he had already come to acknowledge as leader.
"Clare, how much further is this town of 'Kir', was it?"

Raki looks like he didn't take Clare's comment very well, his voice sounds a bit subdued, "I...I have been practicing with Aiya as often as we can find the time. She... She said I'm getting better right?" He looks over at her.

"The village is about 10 hours away, but we will be stopping for the humans in six, so that they may rest, and we should be there by tomorrow when the sun is high." Clare looked at Raki's stuttering form, a little confused, "I wasn't trying to be mean, it was more of just a hint for tonight and tomorrow morning."

"Oh ok. I guess I just misunderstood you, sorry." Raki looks away from everyone a bit embarassed, he thinks, Is that really all it takes to ruin my day? I've got to control myself better. If I'm this weak I'll never get her to respect me. But will I ever be able to prove myself to her, no matter how hard I try I'm only human."

Warren looked to the smaller male amongst the group and tapped him on the shoulder as they were continuing their stride.
"Raki, correct? You must not underestimate your own strengths, and the strength of your sword. A special bond exists between every sword and its wielder, moreso for males than females for whatever reason, however gender is irrelevant when it comes to this link between the soul of the warrior and the soul of the blade. 'Roseblood' and I are more than owner and tool, we are two separate beings merged into the same consciousness, it is an extension of my arm, an appendage that is just as beautiful as it is deadly. Learn to respect and honor your blade, and it will show its true potential to you over time."
Warren smiled and continued his march.

"Yes, I'm Raki. Oh, ok. I'll try and remember that. But I don't think me or my sword really has the same potential as your and your blade does for that kinda stuff. It's not even truly mine, Clare got it for me. But I do understand the philosophy."

Warren's gaze from directly in front of them veered slowly to the young man as he made his statement.
"If you would be willing to learn, I would be more than happy to teach. Though I daresay with another nine or so hours ahead, we may have the opportunity."

This continuing chatter was very new to Clare, who had born her days in silence. The discussion was a welcome distraction, and miles seemed to disappear.
