"Cam..ur..ra" She mimked again, okay that was easy enough to understand. It was a pretty short didtance betweent he eback and the villiage and thelights of the cafeteria quickly started to swim in to view. "pretty" she whispers pausing for a moment to look at the flickering lights before she padded on.

"I suppose" Joliette said refusing to take in whatever prettiness Colche saw in the village, she yawned, ugh it taught her for staying up half the night, but then if it were true, it wasn't entirely her fault, after all she didn't give herself the shot

Colche smiled and led Joliette in to the villiage. She paused at the Cafeteria and gave a slight yawn "food." she stated "no sad" she wrinkled her nose in a smile and vanished in to the cafeteria for her snack before bed, plus she needed to get bjunny his evening meal too. She waved goodbye to joliette slipping in to the warm welcoming light.

Stewart had somehow managed to end up on the beach, it had been ages since he had been to the beach and he figured it was about time. Stewart had no intentions of going swimming though, so he looked quite out of place. But it was a nice quite place where he could collect his thoughts and pretend everything was normal.

--New RP--
Amaya sat peacfully on the beach, her legs drawn up to her chest as her scaley arms hung around them. Her chin was burried between her knees and she looked sort of depressed even though she wasn't particularly. The headphones she normally wore were gone for now as she let the sun warm her scales. There was probably another hour or so of sunlight before she would either have to call it a night or put on the black hoodie that lay by her side. She had brought it purposfully just in case. It had been a long time since she had sat out and watched the stars... tonight she wanted to see if she could force herself to stay outside long enough.

In an effort to get away from her work - not that she minded it, just that she had a tendency to get wrapped up in it - Anjali had made her way down to the beach. Clad in a simple yellow sarong with a bathing suit underneath just in case, she walked only a few steps before kicking off her flip-flop sandals. It was rather nice, really - captivity aside. One might as well have a gilded cage if one must be trapped, after all...
Anjali's thoughts were interrupted by her realization that she was not alone. At first glance she didn't recognize the other woman, but... "Excuse me... is this sand taken?" she asked, smiling at her and indicating the beach next to Amaya.

It had seemed as though another was out and about on the beach and he had come with what Amaya had not brought: headphones and a shiny MP3 player clipped to his jean pockets. He'd come from further down the beach, supposedly walking the shoreline in bare feet, jeans, and just his pendants up top. He had a semi-farmer's tan: long hours in the sun wearing a tanktop had left strap marks on his broad shoulders where he was a darker, richer brown than usual.
The black man was warbling along to some rap music as he tromped down the beach, oblivious to anyone nearby, stopping occasionally to wade up to his knees (pant legs were rolled up to mid-cafe) and admire the waves and whatnot. He did this in front of Amaya and Anjali and was not really aware they were there until he turned around and nearly fell backwards, surprised. Smooth...oh yeah.

"Huh?" The young girl blinked and then smiled at the woman she had yet to met. "No, not at all." She was glad for the company, even though she wasn't sure if this woman knew what was really going on or not. She didn't seem to stare at the enormous amount of scales trailing down her arms or her rather disfigured feet though, so she just hoped for the best.
Amaya watched Jamal in silence, stiffling a laugh as he jumped. That always happened to her when she wore headphones too. She raised her long, clawed fingers to give him a tiny wave. Last time she had seen him was at the Halloween party and he thought her scales were costume... she just pleaded that he had been informed since then. She couldn't take telling people the truth.

"Oh, good." Anjali smiled at Amaya and settled herself in the sand, wriggling her toes in as she sat down. "My name is Anjali... and you are?"
She blinked as she noticed Jamal, then had to stifle a laugh as the big man jammed his way down the beach without any notice of them until he was right there. "You must have some enthralling music there, to have it beat this view," she said with a grin.

Jamal gave both women an accusatory look, but it was mostly in jest. "Ya'll tryin' ta scare a brotha' mo' than he be already?" he quipped as the headphones were pulled down to rest around his neck and he pushed the pause button on the player. "Hidin' up in da....uh....sand?" Okay, so...bad attempt to try and brush off his startlement.
The clawed wave only brought a slight wince, but that was all. He was forcing himself to get used to the idea that animal-like people were running all over the place and he was going to join the ranks eventually. He forced a nonchalant look though and squinted his eyes. "You be at da hall'ween party, righ'?"
Then his eyes shifted to Anjali, whom he also squinted at, but did so longer than he had to Amaya. "s**t, dis music all old...ain't got no way to get new stuff, but it a'ight," he said with a shrug as he regained a normal expression instead of a squinty stare one. "Now, I ain't 'memberin' yous befo', so I 'pologize...what be yo name?"

"Names Amaya." She smiled up at the new woman, who seemed to be very nice even though she had just met her. Amaya could hear the beat of the music even though he was a few feet away and could tell what it was. Yuck, rap was one of the few genres she hated... but oh well, to each their own.
"Yeah, I was at the Halloween party." She gave a nod, barely noticing the wince. Small things like that she had taught herself to ignore in her time after her change. "Your Jamal, right? Friends with Awen?" Green eyes looked up at him as he approached slowly, her arms wrapping back around her legs as she dug her toes into the sand.

"A pleasure," Anjali said warmly to Amaya, trying not to stare at the woman's odd features - obviously a change had overtaken her, though she wasn't sure what serum had been used on the other girl.
In contrast, the man ... well, he seemed normal, she realized, after she'd caught herself staring at him searching for the animal features she was sure had to be there somewhere. What a reversal.. but no, he seemed unchanged. Like her. "I am Anjali, the groundskeeper here," she said, pleasantly, holding one hand up for a handshake, wiggling her toes deeper into the sand. "I have been here for some time, but... ah... we don't celebrate All Hallow's Eve in quite the same way where I came from, so I did not attend that celebration.

"Yeah, dat's righ'," he said with a nod and smile as he sort of haphazardly wandered in their direction while glancing at and tinkering with his musical equipment until he was about to trip over their outstretched legs. The black man had enough common sense to flash a look of apology as he realized he probably sprayed sand about as he scuffed along, then flopped in the sand in front of them to form a triangle-like arrangement.
Anjali's outstretched hand was taken and he shook it, not being one to do the old 'kiss the hand' type deal that lots of guys did. "Ah, I git it. I ain't been herr so long either...as ya probably kin see." The latter was said with a sort of grudging tone to it, emphasizing his knowledge on the real deal at the island.

Ah good, so he knew. That was a comfort. Judging by Anjali's reactions, she probably knew as well.
Though oddly enough, she didn't feel comfortable around them. She felt out of place and oddly naked, being the only one out of the three that had changed at all. Normally there was at least one other person around who had gone through the same thing.
Trying to shake these thoughts off, she looked between the two. "Nice to meet you two... how have you been?"
