Shinji laughed softly and disappeared under the surface of the water, following after Lena, grinning under the deep blue ripples as he pondered being a typical male and tugging Lena under by her ankles.

Once she'd gotten pretty far out into the lake, Lena closed her eyes and took a deep breat before letting herself sink down for a moment to wet her hair. When she surfaced, she pushed her hair from her face before letting herself lay back and float.

Shinji grinned to himself as he kept under the water, the lack of oxygen not neccessarily a problem for him. He positioned himself so his movements mocked Lena's some and waited a moment before moving his arms up through the water to tickle her sides from below.

Lena let out a squeak and squirmed as she felt Shinji tickling her. "Quit it!" she squealed as she tried to swim away.

Shinji laughed at as he heard Lena's warbled cries, a raft of bubbles surfacing before him as he brought himself out of the water some. Sorry, sorry! he laughed, brushing his hair from his face before reaching a hand to take hers, still laughing some. Sorry...

"Meanie..." Lena said with a laugh before sticking her tounge out playfully at Shinji, as she moved back towards him.

I'm not...he laughed, pulling Lena closer some. Not yet at least! he laughed before sort of lifting himself out of the water to dunk Lena by her shoulders, moving back some to let her back up almost before he had her under completely. Now I am! he laughed, moving himself back some as he half expected her to come at him in the same fashion.

Lena coughed a bit as she surfaced, having swallowed a bit of water when she was pushed under. "That... was not nice..." she said as she pushed her wet hair from her face before splashing Shinji.

Shinji laughed, the splash sent by Lena somewhat making him cough as it managed to make it's way mostly into his nose. But water is good for you! he laughed, moving closer to Lena once more, slowly as he just used his legs to move and not his hands.

"Yeah.... it's not exactly a good idea to try and breath water, unless you have gills..." Lena laughed, letting her eyes fall shut as she floated around.

Well, we could make that work you know! he laughed, diving under the water to surface near Lena, shifted to stretch out some on his back in the water as well, his hands under his head.

"Nnn.... I rather like having normal lungs...." Lena said with a bit of a laugh, as she continued to let herself float around.

Normal gets boring sometimes...Shinji laughed, though he didn't quite know what 'normal' was, by any standards. I turned my sister into a fish once, and stuck her in our father's fishtank...She made a comment about being a fish after spending nearly an entire day in the pool... He grinned in thought, the memories of the occassion swirling about his head.
