“I’m not really sure what happened,” Neko shook his head a little trying to regain some sort of composure. “She’s been known to have moments but this wasn’t like anything I have ever seen her do.” Neko didn’t allow Blade to brace him up for long as he moved around him and toward Riyo. He had spotted that man again but as soon as he had he was gone. Must be nice to come and go like the wind whenever you please. Good for the man, bad for them.
“Riyo?” Kneeling down at her side Neko tried to look her in the eyes but she seemed to be focused on the floor. “Riyo, we need to leave now.” Neko tried to explain. “We’ll play this game another time all right?” Reaching out to touch her shoulder Neko tried to snap her out of her trance. “Think you can keep up long enough for us to get out?”
In her current state Neko wasn't sure if he was going to get a response and if he did he wasn't sure what Riyo he was going to get. Her personality seemed to be rather unstable and he no longer knew which was the real Riyo.

Riyo's eyes slowly moved up to meet Neko's, the expression on her face was apologetic and almost pitiful. "Riyo can't apologize enough.." She said and paused. "For what she's done... And what she might do in the future, nyu.." It was strange how much fuller her sentences were now. She covered her mouth to cough painfully and stood up. Her hands automatically lifted to her head. She'd gotten up too quickly. Her head was pounding worse than ever before. "Mmmm..." She bit her lip and closed her eyes. "Riyo can keep up..." She commented through her pain.
Her mind was piecing together a lot more now. This was no game they'd gotten themselves into. They weren't supposed to be here. And while she wasn't familiar with the concept of private property, she did know that being out-numbered when you weren't in your own territory was never a good idea.

While Neko went over to Riyo to make sure she was alright, Blade stayed by the door to keep watch, as well as to keep thinking of ways they should get out of the tower. The thief didn't know the others too well, but he couldn't help but feel a little bad for them. If he knew them a little better he'd probably try to help them out more.
Stepping out into the hallway a bit to find the nearest window, he peered down on the outside world. Being on the second floor, they weren't too high up, but he didn't think he could jump out without getting himself hurt badly. This may not be the case for the others though. They were cats in a way after all. So returning to the room Neko and Riyo were, he decided to ask them.
"How high of a fall can you two take? There's a window not far from here that you could may be able to jump out of."

((Yay late.))
Skye shook his head slowly, "Sadly... Hanse seems to be much more knowledgeable about this part of the world." He leaned his head back lightly, and closed his eyes some, "But if I had to take a guess; if it were to be a populated town.." He slowly leaned his head back down, "Stand in the center of this one, and watch the exits. Pick the one that the most people leave from, and follow that road." He rubbed lightly at the back of his neck some, wincing a little, "At least, that's what I would do."

[At this point, I can't remember exactly what Hitsu's already asked or done here... So, if I repeat myself, I apologize. XD]
"At least one of us seems to have a good future." Hitsu said quietly, before turning attention to the closing door. At first, she'd only glanced to see if someone was coming or going. Then, she did a double take and gave a startled cry. "Oh! We've taken too long!" She exclaimed, "Yuki's going to be mad if we're late!" By mid sentence she was heading toward the door. "I'm so sorry, but we have to go now."
Then, she suddenly realized that she still wore the bracelet the foxen had been trying to sell her. Unclasping it, she approached the gypsy to return it. "It was nice meeting you, Sir." She said, smiling lightly. "Hopefully my future won't be bad after all."
-----
Yuki frowned. "Well, that's useful." At first, he'd been referring to the statement of Hanse being the brains of the two. Though, what followed was only remotely useful in his mind. "We're not taking a road, but I suppose..." He paused in silent thought only briefly, trying to determine in advance how they would have to take their route, before focusing on Skye once more. He watched the man, wondering just how badly he'd been injured. Not to say he cared so much, but... Hell, he wasn't heartless.
"Where will you go, now?" He asked, curiously. If Hanse was the one who'd known his way around, Skye was likely left even more lost than they were. If need be, maybe they could help him find home on their way... Wherever 'home' was when it came to him, if it even applied.

He'd glanced up quickly at the girl's shout, but immediately realized there was nothing to be truly concerned about. Ah, so they had to leave. He quietly returned the card he'd been holding out to Mitsu, and shuffled the deck. A useless effort, but a form of habit nonetheless. Such a pity, he had wanted to win over the fin girl. He offered a smile to Hitsuzen as she offered to return the bracelet, and shook his head. "Keep it, Love. You need it far worse than I."
To being called 'Sir' he gave a soft chuckle, "No need for formalities, darling." He put a hand to his chest. "Kitwana Shiminege." Now, they all knew each other. He folded his paws into the sleeves of his robe, bowing his head slowly before looking to each of them in turn. "It has been my honor, ladies. May your travels be fruitful and safe." His gaze rested on Hitsu a moment, and he nodded. "Let's hope not. I do hope that we may meet again, all of us."
Perhaps, next time, he could actually make some sort of profit.

while hitsu and mitsu were getting their fortunes told in various ways, she let herself go into a daze, picking up random objects and putting them down again. All in all poke wasn't interested in getting her fortune told. He did seem like a nice guy, but it still didn't mean she wanted to be told if she was gonna die or not
Then hitsu suddenly rushed out of the shop. Crap, she was right! they had been hanging around here for long enough, and she STILL hadn't had anything to eat (you tend to forget about food when there are foxes and dragons about). Speaking of dragons...
poke noted hitsu hadn't paid, and the generosity of the fox, who had introduced himself as kitwana. Quickly she pulled out two gold coins and placed them on the desk thing, then running past kitwana "thanks for all the fortune stuff" she sprinted out of the shop and after hitsu. "Heyyy! don't forget, we haven't eaten anything all day!"

The fortune had been a sense of comfort to Mitsu, it was one of the few things that seemed to give her hope about her situation. Was she really free then? Did she no longer have to worry? Her mind was abruptly brought back to the real world as Hitsu shouted about them being late and as she made her way out the door after a short exchange with Kitawana Mitsu started to follow. Poke was the next out the door shouting about food but that seemed to be the furthest thing from Mitsu’s mind at the moment. Lingering at the door she turned back with a smile. “Thank you, Kit.” Obviously the full name hadn’t registered but before he could correct her she was already bounding down the steps and after Hitsu and Poke. “H…Hey, wait up!”
“How high of a what?” Neko stood to his feet and moved toward Blade for a moment seeing the window. As soon as he saw it he knew the plan but was very uncertain of its outcome. Shaking his head he stepped back toward Riyo. “She’s in no condition to be jumping out of windows right now. We just need to find another way down.” Neko looked back down at Riyo his mind still trying to wrap itself around the problem. What was wrong with her? Maybe it would have been best if he had just sucked it up and left her at the Inn, but he always had been a weak one when it came to a girl and tears.

Nodding in response, Blade thought for a few more moments while looking about. Going out the front entrance wouldn't be any good since Neko couldn't really shape shift again. Not to mention that there would be questions on why the thief was leaving the guard tower as well.
"If we could find the right materials we may be able to climb or rappel down. Another option is to have some sort of diversion and either mad dash or sneak out depending on how well the distraction works.. I know a few things that would definitely pull the attention of the guards but they're a bit.. drastic and I'd rather not resort to them if possible."
Letting out a sigh, he looked back towards the other two while rubbing the back of his neck. Things were more complex since he had more people with him; one who really wasn't in a good condition mentally, and the other who was fairly physically exhausted. From the way things were looking, he was probably going to need to make quite a big diversion if that was the route they were taking.

Skye shrugged lightly, and leaned back in his chair a little, "This isn't the first... or the last, time Hanse has done something like this." Too much truth in that statement, he thought quietly to himself. "Typically a few days pass, long enough for any wounds to heal, then Hanse comes back and 'apologizes' about his little mishap; of course, he comes up with some excuse as to why it took so long to find me again." He narrowed his eyes some, "When he and I both know so very well that he's every so slightly better at tracking than a hound."
He waved his hand lightly, "Don't worry yourself about me though, I'm sure your friends need you much more than I would." He then rubbed at his chin some, "Sometimes doing something unexpected will throw off someone who is trying to find you."

For a moment, Riyo looked back and fourth from Blade to Neko. In all honesty, she was the reason this plan of theirs hadn't worked out all too well. She gave a big sigh and took a few steps toward the door, leaning on the frame as she got there. "Riyo messed things up... So Riyo will get us out." She spoke softly, her voice cracking a little.
She could feel that malice creeping through her veins. Destroying everything she'd worked for thus far. Might as well use it for something good while her mind was clear... For however long it may last.
She took in a deep breath, for what she was about to say would be fairly long. "Something is very wrong with Riyo... And whatever it is... Has to do with a terrible deed from her past, nyu.." She shook her head. "Can't outrun your past, nyu. No matter how fast.. You run..." The sad thing was, she still didn't know what she'd done. She just knew that whatever it was had been horrible...

“Damnit Riyo, I don’t care about all of that,” Neko all but growled in response as he moved toward her reaching out to take hold of her upper arm. “I don’t care about your past or what you might have done. We all have secrets, we all have things we regret.” Neko was trying to search his own mind trying to figure out where he was going with this. It was like the words were just spewing out of his mouth on their own accord and before he could stop himself something slipped that he wasn’t sure he wasn’t going to regret later. “I care about you.”
Sure it was a simple phrase that could be tied solely to Riyo’s wellbeing, but it all honesty it had a deeper meaning than even Neko realized. Coughing slightly realizing his slip Neko looked from Blade back to Riyo. “We will figure out how to get out of here together. Understand?”
Leaving Riyo’s side Neko made his way to Blade, his face looking a tad frustrated, whether it was because of Riyo or because of what he said was uncertain, but it was obvious he was on a mission. “I’m sure you’ve escaped from worse than this before.” Neko was focused on Blade for the moment his fatigue currently forgotten. “If we need to use the window for escape we will, maybe we can put something together to help us climb down. Making a rope, maybe using curtain.” Neko was just throwing ideas together now and though it sounded a little cheesy it was an idea non the less.

While Neko and Riyo exchanged a few words, Blade remained silent as he listened to them. Though he wasn't usually a team player, he knew that in certain times, the only way to get through things efficiently and effectively was to work as a team. And for the most part, he brushed past Neko's comment to Riyo, as he figured the guy cared for her in the least considering how he was treating her and such.
"Alright," he said quietly while glancing towards the window. It was true that he had been through some tighter situations than this. But those times he was on his own and didn't have anyone else to account for.
"And that sounds good. One good sized curtain should be good enough if we rip it apart and such. Once we have the rope and have it secured you two can go ahead and make your way down first. Right now I've got the most energy out of the three of us so I'll keep watch while you two climb down. Don't worry if something happens while I'm still up here. Sticking around would probably get you two into more trouble than you deserve anyway."
With that said, he moved towards the window and examined the curtains for a moment to see how he was going to get them down quickly. Turning it into a makeshift rope shouldn't be hard. But he was a bit concerned as to how well it would hold up.

Riyo looked both utterly confused and shocked at his choice of words. Saying that he didn't care about the past...
But he cared about her.
The little phrase echoed through her head for the longest time. She'd never heard that. Not in all her years, had someone directed such kind words toward her. She almost didn't hear him talking about getting out of this place.
"O-okay, nyu.." She managed to force out as her thoughts ran around blindly in her mind. What was that? That feeling? It was... So wierd.
She covered her mouth as she let out a painful cough and scooted back into the room, her eyes on Blade and whatever he was doing with those hanging pieces of cloth.
Curtains, they were called? What did they accomplish besides hanging there? Apparently they'd be put to another use if everything went right. Though... They didn't look like the most stable of material to be climbing down on. Her eyes shifted towards Neko for a second, then back at Blade. This plan...Didn't seem fool proof. If all else failed, she might be able to distract... Though what the concequences for that choice might be... Couldn't be anything but bad.

Only a nod was offered in response to the introduction, rather than repeating the name aloud. She offered a quick wave, and was swiftly out the door. She heard Poke and Mitsu behind her, so she slowed once on the street again to let them close the small gap between them. "Where should we pick up something to eat? I hope we can find someplace that'll have everything ready quickly..." She bit her lower lip, trying to mentally determine how long they'd lingered in the gypsy's shop. Hopefully, Yuki wasn't looking for them yet.
-----
Luckily, he wasn't. Though, that was about to change.
Yuki gave a roll of his eyes, just barely trying to disguise the gesture in front of Skye. The more he spoke of Hanse, the more dense the human sounded. It was like he had some sort of death wish. What good was a guy indebted to you if he tried to 'off' you at every chance? The wave of the man's hand brought Yuki back to full attention from his thoughts, and he didn't seem too put off by his answer.
"Suit yourself, then." He stated, forcing a smile for the sake of courtesy. Though, this expression faltered at Skye's last statement. It was... Strangely specific, as well as accurate. He didn't like it. However, he quickly decided it to have been a very educated guess. After all, he'd mentioned they'd not be traveling on the road. Either way, it was still a little unnerving.
"Right..." He replied shortly, then eagerly took his leave of the table. He seemed anxious to leave, as he didn't even pause at the bar to ask directions as he'd previously planned. Instead, he simply made a hasty retreat through the door.
