Toshi stumbled into the street and check to make sure the fuuma and senbon were still in their spots. His attention turned towards the Otokage's office. The sounds were getting closer but he wasn't about to run towards them. He walked at a clipped paced towards the building as he looked around. He hoped everyone was safe. He didn't notice any huge smoke plumes now, so like before he relaxed a little more. A knot started to build in the blades between his shoulders. He unsnapped one of the Fuuma shurikens from its holster and held it in its folded form. No need to clutter his movements with an expanded Fuuma when he wasn't about to throw it. He placed a smile on his face as he continued to walk. 'Well I shouldn't be worried. The kage can handle himself. After all he is the kage. . . and the one most favored by the wind in the clan.' He looked across both streets before passing onto the other side. It was still better to be safe than sorry.

Learn to hide and effectively use camouflage, utilising your chakra to enhance the effect. Special: +2 to your Stealth check when hiding.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Cp cost: 4 Dice Rolls: n/a Damage: n/a Requirements: Learn in the academy. Chakra Control 3 Training: 1 stage Stage I: Chakra Control DC 15 Your sensei will attack you but leave an opening. Use the opening to conceal yourself, quickly replacing yourself with a nearby object. Then you can counterattack! Special: This attack is considered as having been used during your opponent's turn. The Mercenary was just strolling down the streets as if he had not a care in the world. He spun a Kunai around his finger for the sheer fact that he didn't have really anything else to do. He looked back the way he came. It was empty. Everyone was either out fighting or inside hiding. He smiled with the fact that he was able to get this far in without actually fighting anyone. He had his orders to keep anyone he fought alive but it was hard to restrain yourself when the other is going all out. "Well it's a beautiful village that is for sure." He smiled started to fade slightly and he saw a kid younger than himself walking around the village. 'I wonder what he is doing out here at this time.' He smiled and started to walk up all friendly until he noticed the boy had a Fuuma shuriken in his hand. 'Well that's an odd thing to have. He must be .... oh I don't know but he can't be stupid enough to go out alone.' He jogged slightly toward him. "What are you doing. Out here and alone?" He looked around and noticed no one was out beside him in this area. His smirk grew.

Toshi jumped and fell back onto the ground and scrambled backwards away from him. He was so lost in thought he didn't even notice he wasn't alone anymore. His smile was still on his face even as he scrambled to get onto his feet. "Well hello there... uhhhh, whomever you are. I'm Toshi. Pleasure to meet another person out and about." He saw the person still spinning the Kunai around his finger and he had a feel of looking for trouble about him. He placed his hand inside the ring and spun it around his wrist and then stopped it briefly by spreading his hands out as the Fuuma fanned out so all four blades showed. A smile never left his face. He wasn't eager to fight but he wasn't going to be taken out either.

The mercenary smiled in return and jumped a little in place. He pulled out a second Kunai and smiled as they both spun in different hands. He wanted to show off his skill. He tossed one up into the air as he tossed the other one from hand to hand toying with the Kunai. "So you aren't going to tell me your name then? Hmmm... I guess I'll just have to take care of you." His smile grew as he caught the other Kunai and slide it into its place smoothly. He lunged toward Toshi, his smile never fading. He loved the smell of blood in the night. He smirked as he slashed the Kunai across Toshi's arm. He side stepped and jumped back so he didn't stay withing the striking range. 19+6= 25> 11

Toshi saw the other person coming at him and froze. He didn't know what to do, this being his first real fight. He took a deep breath and gasped as the Kunai sliced into his arm. Thankfully. He had been through worse in his own training. He spun and nearly dropped the fuuma. He smirked as licked at the newly formed wound. He licked his lips as the blood streaked across his lips and his face. "Now it is your time to die... I hate bleeding. ... VERY much." He smirk grew and twisted into something feral. He spun and launched the Fuuma straight at the person that drew first blood. Toshi wasn't going to let him get away with it that easily. He was tempted to torture the person but the thought made him feel vile. The fuuma soared straight towards the man core threatening to cut the man in half.

The mercenary began to shiver in fear of Toshi. It looked like he picked the wrong person to fight. The boy named Toshi looked as if he enjoyed a fight. He looked like a beast. The mercenary screamed in terror as the Fuuma was sent flying towards him. He barely had enough sense to dodge slightly. It sliced a good bit into his arm. He groaned and he gasped as the blades pierced the tone flesh. He grabbed his arm and with his unhurt one and glared at him. "You'll pay for that you little beast! We were told to take everyone alive but I think I just came upon you and as I tried to tell you you were safe you killed yourself, too shamed to be taken in by the Otobe. You MUTT!" He growled at Toshi, spit flying from the rage he felt. He was terrified by the young man but he wouldn't be stopped by that. He took out his kunai and launched it straight at him. He was aiming for Toshi's heart. He wanted this boy dead and out of his hair. The Kunai soared through the air spinning before leveling out like an arrow towards its bullseye.

Toshi was slightly surprised that the person was able to still face him. He probably looked like a mad wild "Beast". The thought made him smile. 'Good the man should fear me.' He crouched low enough and almost dropped to his knees just barely able to avoid a lethal hit. He fell back as the Kunai cut into his shoulder muscle. Toshi could tell that this guy was no rookie. He new the thirst for blood and loved it. That alone almost made Toshi too afraid to face him but he knew he had the upper hand. He grabbed the last Fuuma and paused. 'Should I use that now?... but if I miss I'm in trouble.... OH well.' He grabbed his last Fuuma and spun to pull it fully into the ready position. He lunged and smirked as threw the Fuuma and knelt once he sent it on its way. It was all up to chance now. He smiled as the Fuuma headed toward the mans left leg.

The Mercenary jumped to the right to avoid the blade but got sliced. 'Tch! Too slow... Curse this mutt. How many of those does he have?' He blinked as it hit the ground just behind where he was standing. 'That could have taken my leg! Damn MUTT!!!' He took a shuriken from his bag. 'I'd hate to get too close to that Mutt. I'll turn him into a pin cushion.' He spun towards the center of the street with a flair, shuriken in hand. He smirked as it was about to leave his hand, but fear put a slight twist in his hand. His smirk turned to a snarl as it flew toward the younger of the two. 'I'll show him. I'll show him my full cruel side. To think I'd be treated with such disrespect. Oh he will pay with blood....
