((Hahaha, I seem to be hearing that from alot of people I know lately. I guess I'd be the opposite of you guys, I have a hard time finding attraction towards anyone... sweatdrop ))
Crow overheard the conversation, but didn't seem to mind at all, his childhood had no room for developing prejudice. In all truth, he didn't even understand, he was never introduced directly to the opposite gender, and was only ever close to a single person, the differences of man and woman had no meaning to him. Wasting little time he returned to his reading.

((Truthfully, I'm straight, but for some reason I keep playing gay or bi characters... I dunno, maybe I'm curious deep down or something.))Strobe stripped down and stepped into the cool water. He dove under the water, then came back up and rubbed his face vigorously. He had never felt any sexual attraction toward anyone before, as far as he could remember, and didn't quite know how to respond to it. Much less did he figure that he might feel it toward a man.

((well, ive known since november. when i first started having thoughts about guys, it scared me at first, cuz i grew up thinking it was wrong, but ive always been accepting of everyone who was gay. now though, im used to it and it doesnt bother me anymore. wow, this is starting to feel like a group therapy session, lol))
he hugged her back and held her until he calmed down. "th-thank you. i needed that. im sorry, its just, now that i dont have to be so focused on trying not to kill all of you, everything else just sort of caught up with me, heh, if its not one thing, its another." he wiped his tears away with the back of his paw.

She then reached up and kissed his nose softly, smiling a bit. "You're welcome." She said as she giggled silently, still hugging him tightly. "If you ever need any help with anything...I'm always here to help..." She really meant it to. Back home, she didn't have anyone to talk to about her sexuality, afraid that they might beat her for it. But now, in the midst of her friends, she was happy just to be open with herself and to be who she wanted to be, not just wearing some mask to hide herself from her family. But now, she actually has a family...one whom she really loves.

Kioko was about 1 tenth done with the book.

his nose turned red where she kissed it as he blushed a little. "ok, thanks again, really. i think im gonna go swimming now and wash my fur out, or it will stain from the tears." he stood up and walked to where the river was, and also strobe, but he didnt realize this. he quickly stripped off his clothes and dove into the water. he swam around for a while and when he came up, strobe was right next to him. he coughed from the surprise and blushed deeply.

"Oh, uh, Max, hi..." Strobe said, struggling to control his emotions in the only way he really knew how. He focused himself into that warlike mindset that he was trained into. Or, tried to, at least.
"Do you need anything?!?" He asked, trying truthfully to suppress the emotion inside of him, but instead just making the sentence come out in one big blurb. He forced himself to calm down. After all, even if this was his first time with these feelings, he'd been around Max before, and had acted perfecty rational then. He was just being absurd now.

Kioko was starting to get to the good part now. it started talking a little about the experiments. the further she got to reading, the more wide-eyed she got..

max stuttered, "nnno, i i was just washing my, my fur. dont want to smell like an animal. i i didnt realize you were over here so ill just ggo to the other side." he quickly turned away, then found that once again, he was too surprised to make his legs move.

Jackie walked over to Kioko and sat down next to her, watching as her eyes widened. "Kioko-chan? What is it?!" She asked, being worried a little bit. She couldn't really understand the words in the book Kioko was reading that well but she knew that Kioko would just explain it later.

Crow finally came to the part where he was found, he felt a shock of excitement, this part should hold some information about his past. As he read however he began to feel bothered, something about the direction of the text he was reading felt very foreboding, and he felt as if something were coming back into memory. As he read on he discovered what it was, he didn't need to go any further into the text, it brought back a string of memories. Closing the file he walked over to the fire that Kioko and Jackie sat at, carefully avoiding the flames he set the file next to them, figuring that they would see it once they'd finished with the book. Crow then clutched the file in his hands, he stared at the fire wondering if he should throw it in, he wondered if the information inside would cause them to have mistrust for him. Then again, they did have a right to know.

Kioko looked up at Jackie.
"OMG, it just told me why we were experiments! how we were taken and used!" kioko said shocked.
She didnt get it much either, but from the info that she had just read about, only certain people can become experiments. Or, certain special people to be more precise.
"The reason we became experiments is because we have a special DNA inside us, and if used properly, the powers tucked inside the DNA would come out merging with our own. It wasnt suppose to be unlocked, it was to stay dormant, that was until they got a hold of us" Kioko said looking down at the Paper of the double-helix strand of DNA.

Jackie's onyx eyes too widened in surprise at what Kioko told her. She then took a look at the page she was referring to, just to double check. She was blown away. She never thought that they could be able to find out such things without any research.

"Not only that, it says here, that the gene becomes known to the trackers when it is activated. Did you guys have any near-death experiences, you know when you know it was highly impossible for you to live, but you did anyways? I know, i did. when i was about 4, just before they took me into the lab, i fell into a fast current river. i didnt know how to swim and i was sure that i was going to die. My body then started becomming lighter as if i was being lifted by a force. Unfortunately, i took in water and passed out. Next thing i knew, i woke up by the river side about a mile downstream." Kioko said explaining, turning to Jackie and Crow.
"what about you guys?"
