Shego grinned and kissed his finger. "I suppose all couples have secrets best kept." She leaned up to kiss her husband happily.
All was arranged nicely and Shego was once again confidant Axel was just gathering up his sufficient evil forces and it had made him a tad standoffish but he would always have a place in his heart for her wouldn't he? Of course. She gave a happy sigh and wrapped her arms around him.

Leaning over Axel returned her kiss with more then a little passion. It had after all been a very long time.
Sitting back with her comfortably gathered in his lap he let his mind drift to them just being happy for once instead of world conquest.

Settled happily against her husband Shego let herself relax, her body temperature and her temper cooling off. She gazed up at Axel and promised herself to help make his lair comfortable even with her presence, as long as her sisters didn't try and visit she didn't forsee any problems. Everything was going perfectly now if they could just settle down and take over the world.

Blinking out of his contemplations it was as though axel had read her mind when his next words popped out "No family. I don't want them here and I'd appreciate them not being brought here."
He had enough on his plate without needing her meddling family here all the time. He almost groaned at the thought of the sisters fluttering about.

Shego laughed. "As if I would even consider inviting them into my own place? They just show up...but I'm pretty sure Jasmine is too self absorbed to want to spend time and energy finding your lair...Ariel has legs now so she loves to walk around and find stuff but shes pretty easily distracted...the rest are normally doing their own thing they know better then to bother me."
She streached out on the bed all the strange pent up tension was gone now that she could be at Axel's side, love was a most strange and painful malady but she wasn't sure she would want it any other way.
Shego let her eyes wander slowly down her husbands body enjoying the visual fruits of his training labor it was nice to know that they both fell back on exahusting their bodies when their minds were occupied with thought.
"You've been keeping in tip top shape..." she smirked.
Shego's heartless slunk slowly down her shoulder and sat there to watch Axel unhappily.

Axel blew out a distasteful breath when Ariel was mentioned. "I'd just throw something shiney in the opposite direction for Ariel and I'd be sure there weren't any mirrors around to attract Princess Pris.... Jasmine." he said quickly correcting himself. He really ought to learn to live with her family.
Grinning when she asked about his fitness level he flexed just for her. His muscles quickly obeying his command as they pushed against his short sleeve.
"Only when I have time, dear." he teased.

Shego laughed and watched him flex his muscles her eyes gleaming with pride and a bit of curiosity. Shego fondly remembered the physical sparring with her husband it was as satisfying as the verbal sparring sessions that had but with a more clearly defined winner. She wondered if Axel had improved his control over fire and shadows enough to be able to best her newfound power. She flexed her fingers and smirked.
"You must have TONS of time on your hands to manage to get into that shape..." She streached out before sitting up and prodding his arm.
"Hmm could use a little more work I suppose...you know the others have grown around the castle and such...ambitious and no longer little weaklings...they would put up a tough fight...even for you" She grinned and watched for his reaction curiously.

A frown replaced his grin as quickly as the turning of the tides. Making a disgusted noise he came up off the bed. Those weaklings!
"I doubt I have much to worry about still but it would be nice to finally catch up to the rest of you. I believe I won't ever be able to obtain my fullest potential until that happens." Axel said matter of factly, a hint of distaste tugging at his tone.
He couldn't understand why Selona hadn't bothered to make him an adult yet. It's not like he hadn't been a teenager for far too long.

"Their only afraid of your potential you know...If your this strong now, it scares them. We scare them."

"Still! She's seen fit to grant all the rest growth but never me. It seems almost as though she is punishing me for something I never did. Not that it matters. I can still whoop any of those losers at the castle." Axel replied, his back tensing and straightening. It really was insulting to be passed over so often.

Shego gently stroked his spine and leaned over to kiss his cheek she wasn't sure anything she could say would make him feel better. Her own experience having to wait for her power had been frustrating, but she understood why she was being punished. Selona had finally caved in after a long period of Shego forcing herself to behave, which had meant no scortching Ariel's tail, setting parts of the castle on fire, or burning down the forest for fun.
She realized however that her husband had never really caused even half such an infraction and yet he too was being held back from full potential.
"It'll come to you...and then nothing will stand in your way" she smirked at the thought.

"Yeah, maybe." was all Axel replied as he mauled over the thoughts now plaguing his mind. It really did just seem like he was being picked on because he wouldn't do as she had told him to.

Shego frowned as she noticed Axel's spirits hadn't lifted any. She couldn't exactly blame him he would probably feel this annoyance and resentment until he finally did reach his full potential. She touched his shoulder gently and kissed his cheek hoping he would get it soon.

Looking over at his wife Axel decided to stop worrying about it. Giving her a smirk he tossed out casually "Besides who has time for growing when there are so many forests and buildings to burn down. I think I should put my mind to better use then I have been lately. Think up something really nasty to scare the kiddies."
The thought of burning down the castle made his smirk spread out into a nasty grin as he pictured the ruins left behind. Guess the idiots would have to rebuild or live in the ash.

Shego grinned and leaned back her fingertips warming with glee.
"I wonder how they would handle it...we should you know, just to remind them were still around...and were in charge." she smirked.
She trailed their names in the air with green swirls of fire and flashes of plasma energy reveling in the sensation, how badly she had been itching to see someone cower.
