Sayuri had heard him, she just chose not to act upon it, brushing her hair back as she glanced over to him, regaining her happy composure, though now she was calmer. She lowered her eyes briefly, glancing to the sleeves that she wore and her whole outfit, sighing as she looked to the trees. "I get that a lot." She murmured softly, heading over to one of the storage ones that she knew it wouldn't matter if it got messed up. "Yes, I dance. Why? Do you?" She replied, tilting her head towards him, a small smirk on her lips as she seemed to relax after the moment of being reminded that she didn't look like her people except for her tan skin.

Seeing her behavior when he mentioned he slightly twitched. Not even ten minutes with a person outside of his city and already he annoyed them. Great. As if to distract her from whatever thoughts she had in her mind, Nolen jumped out and slapped the side of the caravan. "How bout this be our next target?" He grinned. Green eyes shifted a little away from her at her question. "Well I was asking because the last gypsies I saw dance so..." He then looked at her wide eyes and sweatdropped waving his hands infront of him as if defensively. "However I cannot dance as well as I'm sure you can! If my memory serves right, you must be one of the best!" DISTRACTION TIME! He flung open the door and hurried inside. "Its so dark in these boxes!" He called out to Sayuri.

She blinked a little at the sudden sound and leap from him, she was certainly distracted from her thoughts. "Umm....." She didn't really get a chance to answer, since he answered her question a second later, falling quiet as she chuckled, trying to think of where they had danced last. She couldn't help but laugh at his reaction afterwards, coming up next to him. She still didn't get a chance to speak, watching him go inside, cringing as she knew which one that was. Following after him, she stopped at the entrance, glancing around. "Well, I thank you for that sentiment Nolen, but I normally wouldn't dance unless I was asked to. Normally I would be playing my cello along with the other musicians." She then breathed a sigh of relief, at least no one was around. "Um...Nolen? We might not want to look through this one..." She called softly to him, this was where weapons were stored even though everyone did have their own weapons.
Walking over to the windows, she pulled the curtains open, letting light flood in. "And Nolen, it's ok. I'm not upset or anything, I'm used to people saying that. I kind of expect it now. Almost like a game you could say."

Too late for poor Nolen however for that light as he tripped over the base of a case for swords and down he fell, the stand crashing beside him. He looked up nervously chuckling. "Guess its not that dark when you open the curtains huh?" He was careful to push back up the stand of swords without getting hurt and he rose back onto his feet. How was it he was ending up laying down most of this adventure? Green eyes widened at the shiny armory. "Its so cool in here!" He then shot over a fleeting look. It was just a glimpse of the worry he had offended her, with his ears folded back. But in a blink it was gone and he was standing infront of her, tail wildly swaying. "LOOK!! Everything's so..DEADLY! Can we play here?"

Hearing the crash, Sayuri couldn't help but cringe, making sure that he was ok, not really caring about the swords for the moment. "Nope, it's not." She chuckled slightly, just watching him as her tail twitched. He was so like a child.... But she was smiling when she saw the fleeting look he gave her, magenta eyes glancing around the armory with a sigh. She was petting her neck fur while looking at him, a half sad smile on her lip, tilting her head. "What do you mean, "play?" If we aren't careful, we'll get each other killed. Then there's no more fun. So what do you mean exactly?"

Nolen laughed. "Oh, please. I'm too skilled to kill you accidentally, and you hardly could make a scratch on me." He knocked on his solid abs. Such a cocky tone of voice but his expression was all play. Seeing her half sad smile, he pouted again and without any sort of warning he embraced her tightly. giving her head a nuzzle. He didn't like to see any woman sad; call it an instinct or sexist. Letting her go, he hurried over to wear he fell to pick up the shirt he had dropped when he had fallen to put it back on. Weapons were highly dangerous to fabric. "If there's a better caravan to play in, show me." He grinned.

Sayuri just smiled slightly, shaking her head a little, he was just a child. "Oh I don't know, you haven't seen me in action." She teased right back, chuckling a little, glancing to one sword with a tiny sigh. She was taken off-guard when he suddenly hugged her tightly, her arms instinctively going around his body to return the hug, seeming to purr in content at the nuzzle. She was smiling by the time he let go, he was just too adorable. She stood by the door, waiting for him with a smirk, "come on, I know a good one I think. He knows I like to mess with his things." She winked to him, skipping out the door, her tail high in the air as her ears twitched, just making sure the men wouldn't be back yet.

Nolen was still buttoning his shirt cursing the person who invented those buttons as he followed after Sayuri. He hated clothing. Giving up on the buttons, he just left his shirt hanging open. "So I take it this is a friend of yours?" He was curious. What kind of life did a traveling gypsy lead anyway? Hell, he didn't even know what kind of life he would have now. That mere thought trapped him into a stare at Sayuri's back. He moved when she did but he sat there with a thousand questions, and hardly a single answer. About her, her people, and what luck she had to have a place of her own, even if it was tiny. A toss of her long blond mane shook away worries of where he would go now. He had to think of a way to make up whatever he did wrong to Sayuri!

Sayuri glanced back to him, laughing lightly as she grinned to him, her eyes glancing to his chest since his shirt was open, she couldn't help it. "Sort of... An ex who still loves to try to get my a**." She snickered, leading him over to a black and red caravan that was towards the edge of the clearing. She could feel his eyes on her, glancing back to him with a smile, "Are you ok back there? You're awful quiet." She asked, showing concern on her features as she led him inside, opening the curtains so they could see. Good, it was empty.

Green eyes blinked a bit at her question. "Hm?" And then, his brain rebooted, filling him in on everything he missed. Eye wide, he looked at Sayuri. "You still leave near your ex?" He sounded so shocked. However he tried to cover it up with a smile. "So you won't mind if I go and throw some stuff around will ya?" He grinned mischievously as he glanced around, rubbing his hands together. Oh he would have LOADS of fun if given the permission for it.

Sayuri still couldn't help but chuckle at his distraction, beaming at him in her amusement. Oh he really didn't know anything about them at all... "Unfortunately. When you're people are reduced to such numbers, it's not like it's something you can help. Though don't worry, there isn't any incest." She added with a chuckle, giggling at his question and how excited he seemed. "You are so adorable. I don't mind at all Nolen. Just don't break anything. We're poor, so we can't afford much." She added softly, brushing her purple hair back.

Nolen smiled deviously. "Oh I promise no breaking but..." He growled in delight and pounced upon , his hands diving in to grip and pull onto the floor all he could reach, which meant sheets, and blankets and pillows went EVERYWHERE across the floor. The lion shook his head at the floor. "This won't do at all." So he rolled up the carpet under the blankets, letting them fall off along with the pillows and he tossed the carpet passed the lemur girl to outside. "Save that for a better use in a moment." Nolen then turned his gaze over to the desk and the little sculptures he found and a DEVIOUS smile cross his face when he looked up to see the ceiling light. He smiled sweetly to Sayuri. "Want to help me with a prank?"

Sayuri just blinked, watching him completely pull the place apart, this was something even she wasn't expecting. She just stood there dumbfounded, blinking still. Leaning to the side a little, she dodged the carpet that was thrown out towards her, her tail curling around itself. This is just...somehow impressive. "Um, ok." She furrowed her brows a little, turning her head as one ear drooped. "Nolen....What are you going to do?" She asked, she was already going to get in enough trouble with her ex as it was, but a prank...she didn't want to know what he might do.

Nolen smiled brightly, almost giddy with his idea. He walked over to the desk and picked up the figures. He came over to Sayuri and placed as many as he could in her hand. Without a word uttered for her, Nolen picked her up and carried the lemur girl over so that they were positioned by the ceiling lamp. "We're just going to see if we can make this guy lose his mind by placing his little figures in a new home." Almost with a enthused push, he held her up high enough to place them in the ceiling lamp. "Think you can show them their new home Sayuri." He grinned, tail lashing behind him.

Sayuri just watched him, she did not like the feeling that she was getting from this. Her tail twitched as she blushed the minute he picked her up, just looking at the carvings in her hands, her eyes growing distant so she wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing with her now. Hearing him, she glanced down, snapping out of her trance, any and all smiles fading from her face. "No. I can't do that to him." Her ears drooped back, tail twitching once, sighing. "Let me down please." She murmured, her eyes just resting on the carvings, her thumb running across the surface of one.
