It was strange to have his head petted, but it was nice. He lowered his head so Morgana wouldn't have to strain her arm so much. Others had done it before and he had liked it despite the fact it messed up his hair.
"I'm slowly getting used to being a Kitsusagi," He told her, keeping his head low, closing his eyes, seeming rather content and placidated at having his head petted. "But there's still a lot to get used to. Trying to hold onto things without thumbs is proving to be the most difficult part so far. There's also some stuff I probably shouldn't be talking about." He frowned. "But it looks like I'm going to be here a while, so yeah, might as well get used to it."
"Oh, um." He continued, looking up at her. "There's hair-gel in my hair, incase you're wondering why it feels like that." He grinned suddenly. "Once it dries out, it goes hard and stiff. But until then it's kinda gluey. It's harmless and non toxic, so don't worry if you get it on your paw. Easy enough to wipe off."

She smiled and shook her head, putting her paw back down, "Don't worry, I don't mind. And yes, it is hard to grab a hold of things without thumbs, but we can get by, we have for years." she said.

"I hope you're right," Phoenix chuckled. "I never thought I would have to re-learn how to open a can of beer." The grin from his face faded. "Not that.. there is actually any beer around here though. Such a dissapointment."
"Come to think of it, there really isn't much of anything, is there?" He wondered as he sat up again, combing a paw through his black spiky hair. "I want to build a house or a shack. Or something..." He shrugged. "Somewhere to call my own. But I don't know where to find building supplies, or how to get running water to such a place. Heck, I don't even know where to begin."

"Hmmm, that is rough spot. I really wouldn't know myself, I live with my family all the time, I can't really see myself living away from them." she said, scratching at her ear to get an itch.

"Oh..." Phoenix replied, sounding rather dissapointed. "I see. Thanks anyway. I guess I'll keep looking around and work it out. I'm already living with some friends right now, just temporarily. But I don't want to bother them forever. A guy needs his own space, and a patch to call home."
"Your family lives in a big house? Does it have running water and plumbing and such?" He said curiously, turning his attention to her, raising his eyebrows slightly as he noticed she was scratching at her ear. Without saying another word he rose up onto his hinds, walking over to her, reaching over to lightly scratch at her head.

She purred when he helped her scratch at her ear, "Yes, we all live with our human, and she has to have a big house, with all the creatures she brings home. Yet she always finds time for all of us." she comment.

"Oh you live with a human?" Phoenix blinked at the thought, frowning. "I guess that sounds good if you were a Kitsusagi all your life. I wasn't though... it'd be weird being owned by somebody like a pet. It'd also be weird living around a large family. I'm not used to that."
"I'm sure it sounds nice, but..." He slowly shook his head. "That's not for me. When I was a human, I used to live alone in an apartment. I had my own Bachelor Pad, so to speak." He grinned proudly upon stating this. "If I'm going to end up living around here, I think I want that."
He sighed. "That's probably a long time away from now though. Building a house seems like a ginormous task."

"Well, I am sure you will find a way or find someone to help you with your task. Things like this take time." she commented, her tails wagging.

He gave her a content friendly grin, wagging his own tails in response. "Thanks. I hope you're right."
"Hey, I should probably be on my way before it gets dark and I can't find my way home again." He stood on his hinds again, nodding towards the door. "It was really nice meeting you, Morgana. You've been a great help, really. I can't thank you enough." He gave her a broad friendly lopsided grin, and then bowed his head in thanks for a moment. "We'll have to meet again soon. maybe I might be able to meet your family next time, huh? Maybe help your daughter overcome her social shyness."

She bowed her head to him as well, smiling, "It was quite a pleasure to meet you as well, we must meet again! You take care of yourself and practice moving your wings about so you can at least get used to how they move." she said, planning to head home as well.
