Yeah, people used to make fun of me all the time, at least, back when I didn't actually know that I was gay. There's still a few people who do it, but I don't care about them. They're assholes, and why should I care what wigger assholes have to say about me and the way I was born?

I've been made fun of for liking boys since before I knew I liked boys. I think it comedy. No one really bothers me anymore, as I have a clever tongue, and they realize that I don't give a shat.

I've been bullied since about Yr 7 and I'm in Yr 11 now. No-one has any proof i'm homosexual seeing as I don't know many gay people in my school and so have'nt been with a boy. But because in their culture Homosexuality is majorily bad they think it is the ultimate insult. But noe I just turn and laugh at them because it's so repetitive it's lost all meaning.

Personally I think i'd be more insulted if someone called me straight because at least it's origonal blaugh

All the time, I get "GAY BOY" yelled at me enough to last me my whole life, though I have 3 years left of it crying

for the day of silence two years ago, i went all out. i wore all black, and put duct tape in a black x over my mouth.

i heard whispers of the "gothic lesbian" throughout the day, which amused me very much...

untill my third class came around. we were doing an exercise on how the blood goes through the diffrent sections of the heart, and one kid refused to hold "a ******** dykes hand". which made me cry.... ><;;;

i was also the gsa pres for two years... and i don't understand how they didn't realize it before. i wore human rights campaign stuff all the time, and rainbows covered EVERYTHING i have... we even had a panel in psycology, where about 8 of us went twice a year, and the class can ask us anything that they want about being gay... if the kids feel they can't handle it, they can choose to do something else, and go to the library for the class period. everyone was very respectful of us, and i'm glad my teacher had us do it.

i've never lost a friend because of my sexual preferance, but i've had peoples parents not let me assoicate with their children because i'm going to hell, and i'll bring the kids down with me *rolls eyes* specifically my best friend whos father is a born again evangelical christian republican. .............. she moved out the day we graduated, and hasn't returned to his house since. she is also, a lesbian.

Have I ever been made fun of for my sexuality? Yeah, all the time. My brother refuses to let me forget who I am to him and gives me 'friendly' reminders every day with the ever repetitive, "What's going on, lesbo?" And if that wasn't bad enough, my neighbor spread rumors about me and my ex girlfriend around my entire school and the newspaper crowd came over to us and took pictures while we were trying to be alone. I've gotten several notes bashing my sexuality and the way I look.
This girl, Jessi in my Bio class thought it would be fun to tell the new student Ashley that I was weird and a lesbian right in front of my teacher, forcing me to counter that with the fact that I am a bisexual and damn proud. But no matter how many times I say that, the teasing gets worse. I was in a few fights last school year over it and I'm tired of being treated like crap! My mother doesn't even defend me, she thinks it's just a phase...

Yeah alot. Mostly by the popular girls though. The guys don't say much. It doesn't bother me though, I just ignore them. I've been teased all my life about one thing or another, And i'm just use to it.

Well, when I was in middle school, some stupid guys would send people to ask me if I wanted to give them head. And like that would make me pissed.

Also, two years ago when I was a sophomore, the guy I liked beat me up.

So yeah.

Before I came out, there were all sorts of rumours flying around about me as I always was with a girl I know that's lesbian (Who is now my girlfriend whom I love by the way ^^).

Several classmates asked me if I was. Since I was struggling to come out at the time, I started giving vague answers and let him/her come up with their own answer.

Now that I'm out, I've had the few twits that poke at it but nothing truly serious. It doesn't bother me. ^^

At the end of the day i've been thinking about it. Do homosexual and bisexual people get insulted because of their sexuality. Or is because a lack of conforming to society's norms and values. Or maybe others do it to pass blame onto others or maybe because they feel it's a very offensive thing to say and to them would be a massive insult.

What do you lot think?

I've been jokingly mocked by friends, but seriusly made fun of by people...no. I have been present while people who don't know about my sexuality talked about their homophobia, or dishing out the words "f**" or "dyke" I've told people not to say things like that, so if they assumed things from that than.. oh well...

At my old school a was semi-outed in world geo class... but that's a story for another day.

I got teased about being a lesbian in grade school - which I wasn't at the time, and even now I'm only pansexual (haven't even come out yet) - which was really lame. I mean, the fact that I was being called that without any reason wasn't even what got to me - it was the fact that everyone saw it as such a devistating insult. I've always been very supportive and protective of people in various sexualities, so I was often offended by those around me.

Well in High School I didn't get teased much for being bi because my group was a large group made up of about 3 lesbians, 2 bi girls, a bi guy, 3 gay guys, 8 straight girls, and 2 straight guys. I had to count for a minute to remember it all. These were just the main group. We called each other brothers and sisters, never dated inside the inner circle and took care of each other. We called ourselves the Sisterhood with attached "Brothers" and "honorary Sisters" (what the gay guys prefered to be called).
No one much got in our faces because if you messed with one of us you dealt with all of us and we extended through most of the school if you counted our friends who werent part of the group. We do live in a Christian town so there were people who'd call us fags and dykes and tell us we were going to hell but we mostly stood up for each other.

Now we work and have to live outside of that safe zone. It's hard but we still cry on each others shoulders.
